Trails doesn't even look bad. It looks old, sure, but old doesn't necessarily mean bad. Although people over dramatised how great XC's story was, they were just shooting 2's down before they even gave it a chance. Just cause "XC had the greatest story ever." I dont need to start flame wars to realise that they both should be properly credited for all the effort that went into either of them. People just want to find a reason to hate anything but XC.
