There was a book called either Wreck of the Titan or Futility (It had 2 names) where a large ship that was incredibly similar to the Titanic hits an iceberg and sinks. The thing is, the book was released in 1898. That's 14 years before the sinking of the Titanic. Spoiler Megumi likes Juro, who at some point in the past had feelings for Iori, who currently likes Sekigahara, who has a complicated relationship with Shinonome, who liked Tetsuya Ida, who is another version of Amiguchi, who likes Takamiya now but liked Kisaragi in the past (future?), who currently has a dynamic with Ogata. Besides that love chain, Miura and Natsuno probably like each other (he thinks she's very... yes), Hijiyama has a complicated relationship with Okino (and yakisoba pan), and Iori also thinks Gouto is handsome. Whew... I finished Sonic Frontiers, which is certainly the best Sonic game in the past decade. Exploring the levels was fun and I can't believe the characters are written properly now. It probably has a stronger sense of continuity than Xenoblade 3 did. Also Chao are very tangentially connected to the main plot, which is good. You need an amount of X in a stat and proficiency rank, which thankfully the game tells you which ones you need for each student. Support ranks with the characters reduce the thresholds. There's one exception to this. There’s the broke way of character recruitment where you waste a bunch of activity points faculty training a skill to ~B rank and getting that stat to ~20 and then doing what you tried to do there. And there’s the woke way of character recruitment where you get a character’s support to B with Byleth on an explore day, save at the end, and then run through the next week. If they approach you during that werk congrats, you have that character.
