  1. FE11 FE12 FE6 FE10 FE3 FE13 FE8 FE14 BR FE1 FE7 FE4 FE9 FE2 The rest are all still works-in-progress. I do like all of the games bar Gaiden, and the list is wholly prone to change sooner or later.
  2. For what it's worth, I once had one of the C17 manaketes attack Julian while Marth was definitely still in his range. I've no idea what could've overridden that priority (he wasn't even KOd iirc), but it can apparently happen. Still applies just about always, though.
  3. And yes, dying repeatedly will result in the game giving you the option to lower the difficulty setting.
  4. Magic does trivialize the game in its own right, having done it on my blind playthrough; post-Medusa bosses rarely got a second turn in. Dex seems to be the most effortless way to cheese the game, though.
  5. No. Some child characters are effectively impossible to make truly terrible, and as stated prior you'll attain a handful of extremely competent static characters anyhow.
  6. He can't use the Falchion, at least. Didn't have Mercurius available to test right now, but I'd surmise the same would apply there.
  7. Come now, I'm sure you're quite capable of holding a dislike towards a product based on its setting or aesthetics without any racial connotations taking place.
  8. FE12 C19. The most pressure I've ever felt from a chapter.
  9. At max stats they should do 2*26+26+30, so it ought to work out if you throw Filla's Might on Hector.
  10. It's shaping up to be Suikoden, though I'll have to dig further into 3 and 4 to say conclusively.
  11. The deployment limits are (Marth included) 12/15/15 respectively, Manaketes can't be used in the arena, and I'm afraid you've the right of it wrt resistance.
  12. FE10 has a lot of good stuff, but with it a lot of excess and it's oftentimes a tad slow. I'd recommend getting a pre-completed savefile so that you can play without map animations to get through some of the worse examples of that (or just to try out a blind HM playthrough if you feel like it).
  13. Metatron. A boring choice, but what can you do. HM to Devil Summoner!Cu Chulainn, Devil Summoner!Girimehkala, SMT2!Gabriel and Ame no Uzume in general. I'm sure I'm forgetting some, though.
  14. FE11 - Any one of increase enemy class variety / scale enemy offense more profoundly / increase mid-to-lategame enemy density. I'd also be interested to see FE12's H3/H4 changes bar the stats (i.e. enemy density & accuracy buffs, Silver Card/Warp/Aum unavailability, 1-2 dragon range, maybe even the option for reverse) on lower difficulties. No idea of what significance the impact might be, I'm just curious above anything else. Alternatively, an ironman option for any given FE would be nice.
  15. I'd guess Feena is the closest thing 3/12 would have to one.
  16. Whilst still a strong contender for the worst unit there is, training her through turtling is relatively easy; that's an incontestable claim on most units in FE in general. Just browse through the plethora of Gamefaqs guides on FE6 to find living proof of such. It's all pretty hilarious to read with the benefit of hindsight, but she wouldn't have been so highly valued if she truly was as excruciatingly difficult to raise as many like to declaim.
  17. PSX, PCE and Sega CD ports (first for both games, the latter two only for the first game) were a thing prior. I do agree with the sentiment overall. More on topic; home console exclusives just connote way too much money spent and/or inconvenience from my viewpoint. Though I can't really blame anyone for attempting to invigorate a less successful platform.
  18. How come? They have cardboard for def/res and are susceptible to effective damage from very easily accessible weapons. On a more related note, I honestly prefer the drill grounds over the standard rendition of the arena; it's a nice conjunction of fund & exp management. Although, since arena grinding gets unrealiable on the harder settings to begin with (save Tiki/Nagi), I suppose it wouldn't have hurt to keep the arena in its initial place for the people that do really need it.
  19. ^It's a very unreliable method to accumulate funds or train, but you can get around it with a Manakete, at least; transformation bonuses don't seem to be taken into account when calculating the enemy stats. Granted, this was the drill grounds and not the arena proper, but I'd assume the same rules would still apply (I used Nagi and she could pretty reliably chain uninterrupted 3-4 fights in H3). I've heard the same would apply to Xane, but haven't personally tested that one.
  20. I'm pretty sure he meant the localization of the script rather than the writing proper. A misnomer, but a relatively common one.
  21. Enemy mages/bishops are seemingly hesitant to attack someone boosted with a Talisman, but the same does not apply for someone with a Pure Water / MBarrier in effect. Might be useful to keep in mind.
