Book III Opens: December 2018 (Speculation + Discussion)
Etria replied to Coolmanio's topic in Fire Emblem Heroes
Well, it's not like it's hard to accomplish that, lol. As much as I love some of these dads, I can't argue against you. Especially Fado, Cornelius and FE6 Hector have so little screentime that Gustav has already more characterisation now than they have ever had. Which reminds me, I want Vigarde. Love him and his design. Since he's a zombie in canon, he would fit well in Hel. In fact, now is the perfect time to introduce some characters who die during the canon games. -

He already has had more screen time than some other FE dads so I'm not too greedy. Gimme a scene where he's more of a softie, then a cool death scene and I'm more than happy. Also, finally some good music. Anyone know which band that is? -

Nnnnh, finally a hot dad again. Loving him and his relationship with the kids. Hopefully this family gets good/decent writing. -
First thing I do in the options is put text speed to max and switch off all batte animations. I hate that waste of time. I think I've seen none of Awakenings and Fates animations save the ones you have to watch because you don't have access to the menu yet.

I had only enough orbs for two draws. And pulled both Surtr and Ylgr. So happy~ More villains for me~

Beards are just too sexy for Fire Emblem. Edit: Holy Shit, just watched the video. Moulder the Boulder is back!

The second I heard that I could marry my Jeigan I decided that my first S-Support would be with Gunter, no matter what. It squicked me a bit with the Father-Daughter-like relationship in the C-A supports so I haven't done it again. But I am happy that the Jeigan has officially become an eligible bachelor~

??!? Alright, I'm gonna get out my FE7 cartridge later and check. I'm sure I've always read Bern.
-
I mean, I shouldn't be surprised at the change, considering all the other superfluous changes they've done before, but I am confused. Why is it okay in German, but not in English?
-
Which European version have changed Bern to Biran? The german one of 7 definitely had Bern.

Let's play Binding Blade again - give me a squad
Etria replied to Garlyle's topic in Let's Play/Streams
Uses Marcus until the very end. -
Well, Lot and Wade are your lifesavers, for sure, bur Marcus is one of my alltime Fire Emblem favourites. That's hard to compete against. You can't beat the Marcus.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blitzkrieg A very aggressive playstyle.

The only death I'll be sad about would be Marcus'. But Marcus can't die anyway. And even IF he should get a lil flesh wound, he would fight on. FOR PHERAE!!!!1! Bern is Bern in the German version, btw.

Both PoR and RD are my least replayed FE games. Part of it are the characters; I like 3 or 4 and I really dislike Ike. And the plot really suffers if you don't care about the protagonist. World building-wise it's good. The plot has as many bullshit moments as any other FE game. The gameplay/maps is boring or so-so for me. RD especially is both rushed and dragged out (Part 1 and 2 the former, part 3 and 4 the latter). Personally, I wouldn't put too much effort into finding these games, but they are worth playing at least once.

I would do that if it wouldn't make crazy to see my characters have different amounts of exp or, god forbid, different levels. I mellowed out a bit, but in the beginning I would reset when one character died in battle and didn't get exp. (Games where characters always get exp even if they're defeated or in the back row are easier on my poor heart)

My first pull was a 5* Hector and my last summon a 4* Lilina. Lol, she wanted to follow her dad, I guess.

How did you get your first FE game, and what was it?
Etria replied to Ephera's topic in General Fire Emblem
I bought Blazing Sword back when it first came out in Germany. I read an article in a videogame magazine and because it sounded interesting, I bought it. I didn't like it at first and didn't finish it back then. When Sacred Stones came out, I bought it (even though I didn't like the predecessor, what the hell, self) and loved it. So I kinda consider Sacred Stones my first FE, even though it was the second game I bought. -
People who yawn loudly. People who ask me inane question every time even though they asked me just a few days ago. Wtf is wrong with your memory?! (And no, not something like "How are you?" but "How do you like your school/ subjects/ etc.?" I already told you six times at least!!) The sound of kissing. The smacking sound that happens when someone picks their teeth with their finger. (Mom, I'm looking at you.)

What are your thoughts on dragons and Manaketes in Fire Emblem?
Etria replied to Thane's topic in General Fire Emblem
Yes, exactly. I thought about Smaug, but didn't want to use him as an example, because we don't see any other dragons in the series. Plus, I don't remember much of the Tolkien dragon lore. I wasn't sure if he was a typical dragon. It's that aspect that makes the difference between human and dragon that FE is missing.
