Are you able to post your standard Surtr without the Aether Raids buffs? I'll put it in the list, then. You want to post the full statsheet, or are you happy with just that? Also, first post updated after a rather long holiday break and some illness.

Ended last season on exactly 10k Lift. Weeks without the Light bonus are a fucking slugfest. Lost 3 in a row (both ladders and the free run gone) and got only 60 points and no fountain kills on my only successful fight on the first day. In the meantime, everyone's tearing my pitiful defense a new asshole. I suppose things will get easier once T20 becomes more saturated. Still need 900 more dew for a level 4 off fort, currently holding 270 stones, will have 500 by the end of the week if I manage to stay in T20. At least if I do drop back to T19 by the end of this week, it will be easier to climb back up to T20 due to T19 being pretty well saturated by then. Seriously considering building up Aversa just to make things a little easier for myself, in both off and def. Sick of dealing with several 60+ Atk nukes, Surtrs, and the likes.

Sad thing is they lose nothing by running these packs, and incentivise many to dive in if they were already on the fence about spending to try and summon these units. It would be nice if, despite the packs, they continue to lose revenue into December and January compared to their more prosperous months. This is nothing but a harmless (for them) "get richer quick" scheme so they can look good to investors to buy themselves more time to string us along and not feel pressured to improve on Heroes. And people with more money than sense are stupid enough to fall into it.

I'd rather use the money to buy Smash DLC and use the rest for Ace Combat 7 coming out in the middle of January.

I think creating an armour defense team with 6 Ward Armours is a nice, cancerous idea. If I can get such a competent team together, I may just implement it.

Thanks to everyone for the 'grats on T19. It's safe to say that I won't be reaching T20 this week, for sure. Now that everyone's got 6 units in defense, I've lost one unit in two of my three runs for today. With Surtr out of the bonus, the "lock Surtr in the corner behind a bunch of structures" cheese def strat is nowhere near viable now. I do at least think I can hold on to T19, until next week rolls around and I can take advantage of double Eir once more.

Finished this season with 8,800 Lift bang in the middle of T19, despite starting this week at the bottom of T18 with 7,200 Lift. Bless the Light season.

You 100% regain your free first run of the day if you lose during the free run whilst escape ladder is active. I can personally vouch for it. You may have done one or more of the following: already successfully completed the first free run for that day, not placed your ladder, or already used up all your escape ladder uses earlier this week. If you're really sure you did none of these, maybe you should message support.

With a Light Blessing and 2 Eir, Nowi is pretty much 1v1ing everything. Any greens she can't take care of can be dealt with by either of the Eirs, Surtr, or Loki. Getting at least 140 points per fight, I'm simply blasting towards T19.

I would assume so, since unlocking the 5th defense slot allowed us to use a 5th ally from that tier. Probably a typo or translation error.

Today I finish on 7540, after starting with 6500 in T17. Hopefully I'll be able to keep up momentum and make it into T19 before next week is over.

Lol, I did basically the same thing as Ice Dragon did by running 2 Eir with Surtr, and my god he is so fucking obnoxious, I love it. And he will 100% beat any other Surtr due to the boost in HP and the healing he receives from the Eirs. I wish I used the comp earlier. I'm running the 2 Eir, Surtr and Nowi with Light blessings, and Loki to keep potential problem units under control.

That is something. I also have 2 copies of Eir, and a +0 +HP -Res Surtr. Maybe I should put the light blessing on someone I am using throughout the whole of AR (e.g. my Cecilia) as opposed to Surtr who I know I@ll drop after his time as a bonus unit is up.

I think Rebecca's great. She requires some babying but otherwise she's a ton of fun to use once she's able to stand alone. Also Raven x Rebecca is my OTP.

How are you able to get an extra 40 Lift from 2 mythic heroes and 2 blessed heroes? They are all +10?

Keeping Surtr in the corner surrounded by buildings is the biggest cancer strat in this mode, especially since he's a bonus now. It's already netted me 3 defense wins and 0 losses within the first day.

As I said on Discord, I am unable to play until next week, but then I can probably join in a future tournament. Hopefully the distance between myself and others not in the UK/Europe and my Grandparents' internet won't give latency problems.
