  1. If you can, the reality is that most of the characters who missed a part could use a minor base buff and an auto-level.
  2. In part two, Geoff says something along the lines of 'It's no surprise there is unrest, it happens all the time when rulers change. It's true the world over.' There's like 2 countries who have changed rulers and both are less than 30 years old. Quite the baseless assumption to make there, Geoff.
  3. On the one hand, it does take a balance of elements to work well. Including the element of subject matter, which helps one become a little more involved in the dealings of the game - After all, if you aren't a fan of Sci-Fi, it could take away from that sort of game. But I'd argue that FE is very limited in individualizing characters and, as such, force characters into a very limited set or role. It's a much bigger issue in some games or others, but it's counter intuitive to the argument you were once having.
  4. I'm incredible. But you already knew that. You came in here to read this because of that.
  5. I love the Halloween one. But it's a little out of season. Actually found him yesterday because I heard his breakup song.
  6. Did you crush his heart like the woman you are?
  7. Change ruins everything. I mean there are just so many things wrong with that picture, how could I not be discouraged?
  8. 9 out of ten shows will blend those lines. Something that also helps is the definitive measure comes in the form of explanation. Yes, those near-perpetual engines formed from the imperfections of the abnormalities of the atmosphere are on a real robot. But that organ that powers that human looking robot was obtained by said super robot eating his victim being blessed by 'God'. That said, Super Robots generally range from semi-preachy to far too open-ended.
  9. Except the law reflects the will of the current Governor that pushed the bill. And the manga publishers are already reacting to it.
  10. Biggest issue with this is that it's random. If you can't do it for every single person(and they can't) why bother? Otherwise you end up with sick fucks getting their giddy and being over powered about it, and realistically, the same odds of dying in a plane bomb or a crash.
  11. Keep in mind that this refers to video games as well. The most immediate item is the banning(displacement, technically, but what can you do), essentially, of all manga in school settings(Evangelion and Bleach, to name a few). Lolis, of course, are out. Homosexuality could go under fire as well. Keep in mind, though, this law is vague and once it goes into effect, could even attack things like breast size and and clothing. One of the worlds greatest cities now faces death, as all of it's publishers are liable to move to other major Japanese cities. Hell, video game companies, to avoid the ban, may leave the country.
  12. It's also been roughly confirmed that all(most) Disney worlds in 3DS should be new and that new info on that title won't likely come until later, likely around the release of the console.
  13. Without picking through the topic, I will say that graphics are hurting the genre. But not in that lame excuse of a concept of gamers ignoring the genre over it. It has a lot to do with the developers sitting on their asses trying too hard to make the games look good to release something worthwhile. Final Fantasy is currently the definition of that issue. Instead of creating a fleshed out world with lots of nooks and crannies and making that accessible through the whole game, FFXIII was designed to look nice. The battle system is intuitive, but the world isn't remotely immersive. And VS is practically in development hell trying to perfect the constant FMV look while slowly aging graphically. Beyond that? They should really considering adding more ways to play the game and using branching paths more often. Edit: Also, the games are 'planned' to be fairly short, something that has always bothered me for some reason. Designers intend you to beat most RPG final bosses by level 50. Those other 49 levels may as well not exist. Obviously, they can't drag that out to where every player would be level 99 by the final boss, but 75-80 should be their mark for total material.
  14. Poll added? Also, I don't know if they're different materials, and TBQH, the Chinese model looks shorter than the latter(potentially 1/2 or 1/3)
  15. Soon, China and Japan will have an epic battle for mankind. Choose a side! Or
  16. It's not that I don't like the midquels either, just that they don't have much liberty in playing out much plot for Sora. They're really running out of options. Assuming this is the MoM test(which, IMO, is likely), there isn't too much room beyond that. You have Mickey during KH1, which could be a nice game if they were willing, and depending on what comes of the test, they may be able to make a game from that. But that's it, really.
  17. Someone wasn't watching TV between August and October. Though I imagine I had it worse.
  18. A little disappointed where 3DS is headed, considering it's story base and these concepts. I do love new worlds, but I'd rather see them used (At least, for the first time by Sora) in a main title. Hopefully Castle Oblivion can play a little into that aspect of preservation. Otherwise, there will be time wasted on trying to ignore or describe what happened in the game. That, and I'm cringing at how I think the game will end, especially considering that this is unlikely to be the last midquel before KH3.
