I like Anna.

As for the females I don't like? Oh boy...

Tharja is a creepy stalker. Imagine for just one moment if Tharja was a guy. The unfortunate implications and double standards disgust me. The only reason she's popular is fanservice.

Cordelia's supposedly biggest flaw is that she's too humble. I find that laughable.

Olivia can be pretty annoying but at least it isn't as bad as her japanese self which makes me want to scratch my eyes out and use the remaining mess to plug my ears.

favorite: Tharja, because why not? Well, there are a lot of reasons why not, but everyone else I thought of choosing either wasn't interesting to me, I didn't like, or didn't have enough supports to be interesting. And I can say without hesitation the one thing Tharja does better than the other girls is be interesting (for better or worse)

least favorite: Cordelia. for someone who has the most tragic backstory of the game, I always feel more sorry for the husband, (because they're always being compared to Chrom) you have to work really hard at being an unlikable character to accomplish that.

I think Olivia is great, has such amusing supports and is a great unit for the main game. Also "I didn't want to do thiiiiiis" *stab* cracks me up every time xD

Inigo is also pretty awesome and is hilarious as Chroms son.

Least favourite is Noire. She's a creepy stalker who has nothing good to say and she resorts to child abuse. Lets not even get into the over sexualised character design.

Uh... did you mean Thajra? Noire is Tharja's daughter.

Really? I liked Olivia's japanese voice way better than the english.

I'm not really used to the Japanese voices, when I first got the game, I just kept the voices on English.

But, isn't her Japanese voice higher pitched, than her English?

I really like Cherche. She is a classy woman who is both in touch with humanity and ?Wyvern kind?. Her personality is a bit gimmicky, but it's not a stupid gimmick. She loves the shit out of her beloved Minerva, and her whole existence in the plot comes with genuine reason. She aids Virion in escaping the crumbling Pre-Valmese continent in order to seek aid. She joins Chrom and Co to help restore her homeland's independence and protect others. Granted, other characters exhibit national pride (Cordelia, Maribelle, Sumia, Lissa), but they're all from the same side already. Cherche joined from the outside pretty much desperate for help, but never lost her cool in the process. How many females join Ylisse from other Nations? Flavia, but she was sought for help already. Say'ri, but she was just sort of picked up along the way. Nowi, same thing. Tharja, joined out of boredom/Avatar infatuation. Olivia was more or less handed to Chrom by an established ally. Anna joins but doesn't really have an alliegance, and Tiki is well, picked up optionally because Falchion. Cherche came from the outside with a legit reason.

She's polite and charming, and has an interesting background to boot (ex-cleric and all), while most of the characters in game, female especially, haven't really gone through any life changing or career changing events. Lissa was always a princess, Tharja was always a Plegian Hex specialist, Olivia was from what I can tell, always interested in performing and Miriel has always been studious as could be. I respect that, but I respect Cherche's life change even more.

As for least favorite, gotta be Tharja. I just can't find the overly attached girlfriend and abusive mother to be appealing.

Much higher pitched, which is why a lot of people over in the West hate it (higher pitches are typically just annoying for Westerners while it's a sign of cuteness in the east iirc). Personally, I like both. The English voice is more pleasing to my ear, but the higher Japanese voice suits her better. [the only time I find myself comparing them, though, are when the crit quotes happen].

Oh. That's what I thought.

And for me, too. When voices are set to English, I used to Olivia's deeper voice, in English, but when in Japanese, I'm used to her higher pitch voice.

They both seem natural to me.

Can I vote for both Olivia and Olivia? I differentiate between the Japanese and English rendition?

Favorite: Obvious as an Elephant in the middle of a deserted parking lot.

Least Favorite: Tharja, only because of the mother issues. I have personal reasons for being so... passionate about that kind of parenting. At least enough for Noire to look for a "new mom".

Voted Tharja for favorite because goddamn guys how the hell is she winning least favorite in a landslide (I don't really like any of the female chars in the game that much anyway, maybe except cherche)

At least she's interesting and isn't a mess of contradictory blah for the sake of fanservice

Which is much more than I can say for Cordelia and Olivia

I voted for Sumia for favorite because she is too cute, with an endearing personality. I see a lot of myself in her.

Least favorite is Tharja without a doubt. Horrible mother, disgusting stalker, and while I enjoyed seeing her softer side in a few supports, it's not enough to redeem her in my eyes.

Favorites would either be Olivia, Sumia or Maribelle, though I like most everyone. I do acting and I can relate to Olivia's shyness when offstage, Sumia is adorbs (though the "I can't do anything right" thing gets annoying), and Maribelle gets my favorite character development of the girls.

Least favorites are Anna, Miriel, Nowi and Cordelia. Anna is a flat character with an annoying gimmick, Miriel bores me to death, "oh but she's really one thousand years old" is NOT an excuse to sexualise a character that looks and acts like a freaking child, and Cordelia's only flaws are...humbleness and a flat chest. :| Really, IS?

Dio's bootylicious FE13 Generation 1 Tier List : Women edition

Waifu tier

Aversa

Why can't I be a polygamist tier

Tharja

Miriel

Tiki

Cordelia

Friendzoned tier

Cherche

Anna

Flavia

Sully

Olivia

That's cute tier

Nowi

Lissa

Panne

Emmeryn

Maribelle

Not even with my ten foot pole, if you know what I mean tier

Say'ri

Sumia

Sumia's clumsy and airheaded nature are something I generally detest, while I feel Say'ri was too important to the story for what it's worth, not unlike Lyn back in FE7, which is funny because they more or less share the same class.

As for Dio's Angels, Aversa feels like an odd mix of Sonia (dayum) and Nino (d'aww), Tharja's attitude makes for hilarious conversations and she has amazing stats, Miriel's scientific approach to just about everything is something I really enjoy, Tiki makes a great return as a character older by a few millenia and Cordelia's all around good with an awesome class set.

Maribelle is my favourite, even though as a unit she has a rough start. I love it when her magic and speed fills out and she becomes my goddess of destruction of 1st gen, though. I love all her supports.

Nowi for least favourite, except it's really hard for me to have a least favourite female character in this game. But Nowi still has a large glut of really boring supports and her gimmick is my least favourite of all the female characters. To be honest, I'm not really that bothered by her outfit in-game compared to her OA outside of the game.

Cecil is a terrible Cavalier, and this is coming from a Cav fanatic >_>

I never said I liked using her as a cavalier >_>

Cleric->Sage Cecil is the best!

Agreed that Cherche is one of the least gimmicky females (other less gimmicky ones include Lucina and maybe Panne). Unfortunately, this means that some people find her a bit boring, but I personally don't.

At least [Tharja]'s interesting and isn't a mess of contradictory blah for the sake of fanservice

Which is much more than I can say for Cordelia and Olivia

Tharja is definitely not as contradictory as Cordelia (Edit: Meant Olivia), however even I have to admit that Tharja is pretty fanservice-y and I personally hate the whole "OMG fanservice" thing.
