Phoenix Wright
Well with most new computer has an option to disable the "Secure Boot" and to enable the Legacy BIOS setting. Just go into your UEFI settings. (Press Shift on Windows 8 to do a full shutdown while closing your computer) huh. thanks, i'll check this out! downgrade to 7 money. and now above is a new reason. i could be happy with w8.1 dual boot linux. shadowofchaos
there's no such thing as a humble linux user I struggled dual-booting my laptop. I'm pretty fast to admit my lack of linux experience.
Original Alear
Oh by the way I am aware that lemmings are actually real animals, and not just a humanoid race from a series of video games.
Aleph
Wouldn't it be best to fuck with them and waste their time? Maybe if enough people do it they will quit bothering more vulnerable people D:

Aleph
Can't you just get the police involved since they're breaking some kind of law I'm surprised they're not scared enough to stop calling on their own when they realize the person they're calling knows what they're doing. You did make that clear, right?
Flying Shogi
They seem to have multiple phone numbers from different area codes that can throw off the police. Question is if the police is willing to take this case seriously.
Aleph
Yeah, they probably aren't. They really should be though. If it's hard for the police to catch them it's certainly not going to be any easier for a random person to be able to fend them off. It's kind of the job of the police to help people out right? Reminds me of old FEU though. We had a huge spam bot problem and obviously it wouldn't have been effective to look into a third party solution. Fortunately we were in charge of our own system and could make the necessary renovations to inhibit the spam bot process. A similar restructuring of how telephone communcation works could probably be done that would bot alleviate the issue and still allow regular calls to be as simple to make and uphold as they have been, but it would probably be expensive and nobody who cna do anything about it would care and people suck. Esau of Isaac
Who even gets phone assistance randomly from Windows technicians. Everyone knows random calls from people are greedy people looking for something. You gotta figure for everyone person they do get there are twenty out there who know it's a scam. You must be Batman and avenge those people that fell for the scam. Dispense justice with meaty kicks and deadly karate chops.
Flying Shogi
Next time they call, somebody should tell them to call back and give the police's phone number.
