Fire Emblem Heroes General Discussion and Links

Let's see. Last year we had two SoV banners around the date of the new heroes banner (a bit earlier actually) so that one can be anything. I still believe CYL2 won't come until late August just like last year so I won't consider that.

I'm very intrigued about the seasonal banner though. last year we didn't had one around that timeframe. Part of me is thinking that it'll be a Summer festival with the units wearing yukatas but who knows, it can be something completely different.

Ouch, my orbs...I'm still working on getting Summer Camilla, I'm gonna try for Elise on the bound hero banner because I've wanted her since I started, I'm gonna want to pull on the distant defense banner because both Celica and Micaiah will be on it and I need merges (and a different natured Celica would be nice), the fighter skills banner (assuming it is armors) is also going to be very nice, and there's no telling what new heroes will be introduced at the same time. 

Also oh dear god I am not ready for the return of Takumi's GHB...I only got through it the first time around with Lyn and three dancers, and I'm dedicated to getting it done with my main ladies (I mean I can resort to my flier team if need be but even that'll be rough).

I guess it doesn't hurt to have it almost constantly up, so new players can get in on it whenever they start, even if it's useless for us.

Grateful for the combination. I still remember "Heroes with Combat Boosts", so unless it explicitly states the skill, I want confirmation from the JP calendar as to the correct family of skills to speculate from.

...Of course, there's no speculation when there's literally only three choices, but hey, if they could throw Zephiel on the banner instead of Hardin (Edit: I clearly meant to say Effie), that'd be swell.

Yeah, I’m not looking forward to that either. And as a reminder, it’s going to have “clear this GHB on Lunatic with an all-cavalry/flier/armored team” quest and with our luck, it’s going to be armors.

One New Heroes, probably one I won't like if the Leo and Elise means Conquest characters, followed by yet another Seasonal? 2-1 NH-SH should be the norm, this ain't it at all!

This goes into September too, after which CYL2 will certainly start. The Summer has failed to draw me into FEH, and come the Fall, my eyes shall fall upon primarily twenty-ish books, not video games. Please oh please don't add some wonderful Tellius characters during that time (particularly late November). I can't afford to fail my exams.

Forgive me, I'm a little saddened right now and my TMS-in-FEH desires are resurfacing.

 

To try to make things a little less saddening, why is the current seasonal called Sketchy Summer other than the alliteration of it? Sketchy implies dubiousness, but who of them all could be lying, conning, or in any way false or evil? Are they all hiding something? (Hopefully nothing sad.) Or is IS just admitting that in character choices they were uncreative here?

It's because we took sketches in the paralogue, and Anna is being very sketchy in general with regards to her plan this time. It's probably outright illegal depending on how old Linde is and whether Tiki is considered capable of giving informed consent.

...oh crap. I really hope it doesn't end up being armors; my armor team isn't bad by any means but my others are arguably stronger (or at the very least more flexible).

Not Awakening Hot Springs Anna severe violation of privacy AGAIN! Honestly, I regret buying that DLC and wish I could be refunded for it thanks to that paparazzi from pandemonium bit. And THAT is partly why I want old Anna back, to the chopping block with every single one of those from Awakening and beyond. That is NOT funny, that is just humiliating and violating. The Redhead Capitalist Swine must be impaled on a stick and slowly turned over an open fire, she has driven me into Tikian Socialism (which is based not on science but on traditional faith, unlike Mirielian-derived forms).

I'm more upset this time because not only has she done this for the fourth time in a row, but she's forcibly increased the charges against me from abetting to aiding.

(Also, since she never asked the Heroes themselves for their consent to have their half-naked likenesses sold, all four incidents could be illegal regardless of how old Elise, Tana, Noire and Linde are. At least, if they're not, they probably should be.)

Well, the last two re-runs required fliers (Lyon) and cavs (Oliver) so...I’m preparing for the worst.

My headcanon is that the summoner drew something that looks like orbs to play 4D chess. If he can trick the gacha into thinking those are real then he'll get the swimsuit heroes instead of some shitty drawings.

Poor Commander Anna won't be able to sell those because IS Anna already does!

Anna would've tried to make big money off of my work. I am an actual artist with some skill. Though I don't consider myself an expert. Just good enough to where Anna would think it would make good money. lol Since it's Anna and she's desperate. XD

Now bitten for asking an annoyingly obvious question, I'll quit doing that.

And as I've said before, I have the game, I just don't have an interest in wasting Orbs on people I don't particularly love. So it is pretty much unplayed. My present demand is simple- a real good batch of Telliusians, given that, I shall at last join in. I use Camilla all the time in CQ despite me having no fondness nor dislike for her at all as a character, but for FEH I want to indulge my subjectivity. Hence I would never even touch her if I got one, nor a Reinhardt nor anyone else for whom I feel nothing, foddered, feathered, or just sitting there is all they would do.

That was the premise for two or all three of the prior Summer Seasonal Paralogues? They couldn't have come up with something more creative and original?

More reasons to dislike Anna.

I remember the days when she would run a Secret Shop that had a single Member Card which certainly couldn't be relied on to make the teensiest bit of money. I even remember her having a boyfriend sometimes. Where has this slightly mysterious yet charming girl who would run an unprofitable shop gone? And why has she been replaced with someone who with glee makes money puns when killing people?

A good question would be what form of "illegality" exists in the terms of reproducing one's likeness without consent in the world of Heroes anyway. Annas from the other outrealms can apparently charge Heroes Anna for "encroaching" on their territory, but none of that assumes they got okay from the Heroes themselves. Well, I'm not a history or legal expert so I could be wrong, but isn't the concept of reproducing someone's likeness for profit without asking them a relatively newish concept?

Then don’t. The game is plenty playable without putting an orb into it, as countless pure F2P clear videos show. You can save for your favourites to your heart’s content.

And so is recreational swimsuits, good luck finding those before the 1800s, back then people would just go in nude.

And socialism is about the same age as recreational swimsuits, and yet Anna had to this to say at the end of her Tiki A Support in Awakening:

You misunderstand. I'm going to be FtP from beginning to end, and that is precisely why I'm waiting for Mr. Right Banner. When my Orb supply is finite, I shouldn't waste it on characters I'm not particularly drawn towards.

Maybe I should've just officially joined back when Miccy was the new girl on the block, but I said noooooo because Zelgius ruined it! But since that is past, I've no choice but waiting for the next.

Again, I'll try to quit being a bother about it.
