      I see S.4782 was the stop fentanyl package in the US congress, maybe it means STOP FIRE EMBLEM 'N TAN YOU LOSER (not directing that to you specifically). Personally I don't really have any interest in tanning.

    Just so you know, you might want to unfollow me, I might be the devil. The only indication I have that I'm not the devil is that I don't deny being the devil. One time I was at work and one of my supervisors suggested I was the devil and I said it was true and she said "see at least he's honest." I don't know if following me means you lose your soul but I would figure the devil would be able to give his followers the option of not selling their souls or whatever.

      I am worried I am still around...I am sometimes a deeply haunted and most likely deluded person, worrying I have wounded existence profoundly, afraid I caused Donald Trump (even though I  voted against him), Covid, and recent spates of anti-asian discrimination in America...you don't have to read the Gene Wolfe books. But you might enjoy them, and I don't recommend against it.

    I dunno if you actually read any of Harlan Ellison, but I remember you asking me if I had read some. I am lazily reporting to you that the book "Voyager in the Night" by CJ Cherryh may have been inspired in part by that novel. I haven't finished Voyager in the Night, and I haven't read any of Harlan Ellison's stuff.

      There is no real reason why I have not read anything by Ellison except that I have not made a concerted effort to do so yet. I'm interested, and I am likely to live long enough that I will before I die. Maybe in the next year or two even.

      None that would be worthwhile if you actually have some yourself - I haven't read anything by him. Of course I've heard of "I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream." This might not really make much sense because it's a very offhand assessment, but...the closest I've probably come to reading him is that I've read a fair amount of Phillip K Dick? Who I liked a lot.
