Serenes Forest's Teehee Thread

Both versions of Cold Steel III got a launch discount which was not high (~ 20%), but a discount is still a discount. But yeah, 75% of my games cost the half or even less. Three Houses, Smash Ultimate and Vesperia were the only games I paid the full price, and seriously the first two weren't worth the price and Vesperia is on sale for the half very often. -

The one I played for PS3 cost 5 €. I think this sounds fair. Need to get a e-shop card first since I'm lacking on 10 €. Might grab it tomorrow. Edit: Actually I can buy it now since I bought a gift card today which also can be used for the e-shop. Originally I wanted to use it for Amazon, but e-shop works too, I guess. -

I might buy a Neptunia game for Switch, but only for a big drop (25-30 € at max). Completed the third dungeon of Persona 5. The bank is definitely my favorite dungeon, or to be more precise, it offers my favorite puzzle in this game. As for someone who likes math and is good in memorizing turning the letters into numbers was a peace of cake (could even do it without writing it down). I have no idea who to pair up with Joker. I loved the fortune teller, but there's also Kasumi, a new character, probably a cute one. Hmm... -

Tbf pretty much all other series aside of Fire Emblem and Smash are attributed to this forum because FE10 was my first (tactical) JRPG. Since i loved it, I wanted to discover more (tactical) JPRGs. Some series like Trails, Tales, Xenoblade or Shin Megami or could convince and others like Dragon Quest or Final Fantasy couldn't. I hate to say this but Neptunia belongs rather to latter category. Played one game for the PS3, but dropped it after about three hours. Well, happens. I'm still open for more new series. Still have some new series as backlog like Shining Resonance, Nights of Azure, Ni No Kuni... This was me 4-5 years ago when I was relatively new to FE. I went so far that I was even mentioned in MarkyJoe's LPs. -

Fire Emblem still offers my absolute favorite videogame (Radiant Dawn), but as a whole series I'd rather play multiple Trails than Fire Emblem games. The only Fire Emblem games I could play permanently (and also did) are FE5 and FE10. As for Trails I have a super strong affection towards both Crossbell games and Sky 3rd. -

I never ever heared of Falcom and especially Trails either when I joined the forum. Some people (who were using avatars of Trails games) praised this series to me. I couldn't say "no", so I have become what I am. I'd say I'm more a Trails fan than Fire Emblem fan right now since this series would never tire me unlike of Fire Emblem mainly because of its characters and plot. Trails is my favorite videogame series, and this even by a quite mile. -

I don't know how to make a drunk Claude. Tbf I don't know how to make a person drunk in general since I have no experience with that. If my memories aren't wrong, there's someone in this thread who has experiences with it. Maybe they can give me a little help. -

Just have finished watching the Cold Steel III run. Sean Chiplock is such a nice guy despite his interests are......... questionable at least. He literally flipped out when Millium was shown for the first time. Nah seriously, he's a cool guy even if he voiceacts the least exciting main protagonist in the Trails series. -

Thankfully I have no idea what some people were talking about. Though it's reasoned with my lack on knowledge in anime since I never watched one aside of Tales of Zestiria X (unless watching cutscenes in JRPG counts as anime too). Anyways I gave up with chapter 8 in Super Thracia. I will see what my friend is going to do to get an impression. @DragonFlames @twilitfalchion @Shrimperor Alright! The expected answer, Now final question for today : -

General Trails thread (Trails of Cold Steel 4 (PS4) out now).
MisterIceTeaPeach replied to Armagon's topic in General Gaming
This describes if fairly accurate. Cold Steel has aspects of Persona with day organisation and answering school questions. It focusses on world and character building as Sky FC does, so earlygame might start a bit slow. The protagonist is by far less exciting than Estelle. The master quartz system isn't as good (because less balanced) as the line quartz system in Sky imo. Ao no Kiseki does it best by combining these two. -

I have none of them, but I will pick Mia because she's the character I have the biggest relation to for being a great unit in FE10. (Rhys's staff to Forrest and Lorenz's weapon to Julius) -

nice I watched Sky 3rd, both Crossbell games and Xanadu (till the point I've played it not to get spoilered). Both Crossbell games and Xanadu were great, especially Xanadu because it's on highest difficulty which looks insane. Sky 3rd was on easy mode. At least for final boss I'd have done it quicker. Sky 3rd on easy is very easy to speedrun just with chain attacks because physical attacks deal so much damage. Just remember the layout of the dungeons and lcations of the relevant chests, and you'll be good. For the rest of the day I'll watch the Sky FC run since it's the only game I'm able to watch till the evening.
