  1. I forgot to add staff misses to my former comment. I have to say it doesn't bother me as much anymore as it did at first. Weapons can miss, so why staves shouldn't? Vulneraries are amazing in this game since they heal full HP. It only matters very early for low leveled units like Safiya and especially Tina. Just give them a skill ring and skill scroll, and they won't miss anymore. Enemy staff users can miss too. And this will happen more often than to the allies. So why not seeing the positive backside?
  2. Ugh... first night was as expected after time change, horrible. Been awake since 2 AM or something. So basically self-study like distance learning. It sounds basically like the rework after my lectures. Funnily math is the subject I can better teach myself.
  3. Bramimond is an interesting choice I have to say. The problem is that the rest of the cast is more or less pointless. Still will pull all the red orbs from opening circle.
  4. The unit's deployment is not as important in chapter 24 with exception of Mareeta who should start in Leif's group to recruit Galzus as in chapter 19. If any low movement staff unit starts in the middle of the battlefield, then good luck!
  5. Thracia had tons of good ideas. It's just that some of them do not suit how they exist, but would work with some improvement. Capturing is the best mechanic in the series. It's executed perfectly. Fatigue is a good idea, but needs improvement. Low HP units, mainly healers, do suffer too much from it. 1-99% hit might suit to the plot, but makes this game artificially luckbased. No access to set starting positions in the battle preparation is even worse than it since in some maps the party is split in isolated areas or are widely spread (chapter 19 and 24). I don't mind fug of war, but it exists in chapters where other nasty mechanics exist. In 14x you have to deal with flying enemies and 24x is well known as the most beginner unfriendly map in the entire series. DIsmounting is handled well. Staves work truly the best in FE5. It's the only part where also enemy staff users can be really dangerous and can do staff combos like in chapter 24 and 24x.
  6. That question mark is elusive. Anyways I need a break now. I've played for almost 20 h this weekend. So I'm feeling burnt out right now. Idk the exact pattern of time change. I think it's always the last sunday of March in October. Anyways having only winter time would be perfect. I hate it, if it becomes dark at 4 PM around christmas time. I leave the house at darkness and I return at darkness.
  7. Huh, in Ryza I faced a (optional) boss at top of the tower. Was a "bit" too strong though. I don't know what the deal of it is yet. Anyways the plot starts to become darker than I expected.
  8. Depends on difficulty tbh. In normal difficulty most units are usable despite some of them tend to be rather bad. In general sword users, cavaliers, fliers, magic and staff users are the most reliable units. Also it's one of very few parts where very most prepromoted units are solid from the beginning till the end. Since axes's and lances's accuracy are nerfed, these weapon types are really not good overall.
  9. Would interest me how online studying works. I assume the professors and lecturers only upload scripts the students have to read. I mean Holding an online lecture would be definitely possible, but not everyone has a videochat program like Skype. Actually I should ask around at mine since I actually pay them out although I don't know if and for what. As for me it's the exact opposite. I will have to use more energy for turning on the lights in the early morning.
  10. Stupid time change... I hope it has been the second last time it happened. I need multiple days to get used on this. Also being late bright and late dark sucks since I have to go work in the darkness again.
  11. I could have Loki, if I greil'd her. But I need to do it anyways since I forgot to grab the 40 dragon flowers with her, so she will be my choice.
  12. Easily my favorite Trails first overworld map theme.
  13. Ooooooh Maybe there's a way to introduce me into Dragon Quest after all.
  14. So slimes can be kept as pet too? Well, then I haven't played VI and IX long enough apparently... Also forget to show... ... this very fitting name to a wolve.
  15. I want a Puni plush! Best multiple ones in all existing colours. They're tooooooo adorable! Unlike the Slime in Dragon Quest it has more purpose than being a bland enemy in the entire franchise. Anyways ten hours Ryza and Zero are enough for today. Finished chapter 1 in Zero and in Ryza I reached the tower. I have no idea how far I am. Since the battle music changed, maybe it's not tooooooo long anymore.
  16. I've been playing since 6 AM almost without interruption. Reminds me on good old FE10 times. But seriously Ryza and Zero are absolutely enjoyable. Mainz is totally based on Germany. The stores have German names, the bakery is even literally translated into German.
  17. Oops, I forgot to answer this question. Anyways feeding Puni in Ryza is too adorable. Idk if it's the case in other Atelier games.
  18. It's based on the time short before WWII. Based on the European map it takes place in the Netherlands. I have no idea why locations were changed since it's the first tactical RPG for me which is based on a real map.
  19. The heck, I just noticed that VC used the original European map, just changed the location of the places. At first I thought the map was customized, lol.
