Actually the Blue Lions units got the best levels. Annette and Ingrid are far above their average. Annette is faster than Lys with good magic and can double more than knights. Ingrid outclasses Petra is every stat now, including speed. Reminds me on my first BE run in normal when it turned more or less into an Ingrid solo. But enemies had no breaker skills there, so impossible to do it in maddening. (actually not since I have seen some crazy Ingrid dodgetank builds)

Oh yeah, that would work. Thanks for the tip. I would miss some experience, but whatever. Also Annette's rally and brave sword will do it too.

Dorothea gets experience as support unit, but I have other and better healers like Mercedes. In maddening I usually recruit all magic using units. I just noticed that I have no mounted unit for chapter 11, which means I will have trouble to get all the rewards...

The exact opposite for me. If I had neither played Crimson Flower nor read her supports with Lysithea, I never would have sympathized with her. She is my favorite lord simply because of her backstory and her target is just the logical reaction to it. She is very well written imo and I feel for her backround.

Oh, this hurts. Comparing my favorite Three Houses character with one of my least favorite Awakening characters. Yeah, both want to be treated like an adult, but Lysithea proves it on the battlefield unlike him (from the gameplay aspect).

Favorite: Lysithea-archetype The adorable youn mage girl with a favor for cute things and sweets who also nukes like a boss on a battlefield and has a tragic backstory. Least favorite: spongedbrained fighters and yanderes (Tharja, Camilla...)

I am surprised how absurdly fast Ferdi is in my maddening run (almost tied Petra who is spreedscrewed though). I made him become a dodgetank by swordmaster => dancer. I try to buff Bernadetta's strength by giving deathblow to her. Unfortunately she has a weakness in axes... I benched Caspar and Dorothea of the BE, but I would not say they were terrible. The only disappointing units are Bernadetta and Petra (slow). I was very sad that I could not keep Ignatz alive in chapter 13 of my GD run because he had strength and speed far above average. Hopefully I will do better with him this time.

Since it is still Lys appreciation thread. Anyways I will take a break from Three Houses and start with Cold Steel III for real since my flat is ready in that way that can I can make use of the gaming bar.

Saw a copy of Atelier Ryza for a 10 € discount on Amazon, but only one copy was left. When I logged in and clicked on the article, it was sold out. At least good to see that the game has a good demand, but not good for me. I doubt to see a price drop of it next week since it is too recent.

She never has turned out well for me, always weak and not fast. Ignatz always has been a better sniper. This is truly accurate for my current situation. Unfortunately there is a no good English translation of the title.

OK, Ferdinand is like Speedy Gonzalez in my run, absurdly fast. Will make him become a dancer once he has passed swordmaster class.

Bernadetta is literally the worst archer I have ever had to deal with, and that says someone who does not like this class for the most. Her strength and speed are ridiculously low. I mean it quite fits to her character. She is truly a joke character. If I had not needed her for her paralogue, I would have killed her off already. Then again Black Eagles is the weakest party overall. Edelgard and Petra are solid. The rest is meh at best.

Well, I am not sure what to say about it. Also seeing a character with amnesia gives me fears (looking at FE13). I mean in case of Luke it was done alright, but then again, he had the haircut thing. There is literally no RPG of today without cliches anymore.

In generel I cannot play a 3D game unless it is an action RPG. A Link Between Worlds was managable for me simply because it was no 3D Zelda. That means I could play similar parts from this franchise like the old parts, but I am really not into puzzle and adventure games.

Nintendo's Black Week deals already have been revealed, but none of the games really has caught my interest. Breath of the Wild shall be a good game, but I am not into Zelda. Same goes for Mario Odyssey for not being into platformer games. Interestingly Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is not on sale this year since I bought it from last year's Black Week. I guess I will only buy equipment like joycons for Mario Kart evenings with workmates.

Torna had one little weakness, it was forcing the player to do quests to make progress in the story. Some of them were tedious. Otherwise it was enjoyable, although it was not long at all (15 hours). Black Week will come at the end of this month, so I recommend to check out games on sale. I hope for a price drop of the newer Atelier games for Switch or PS4 with the knowledge it only will take space of my memory card and I will not be able to play it anytime soon.. Playing longs games without having much freetime in the week is unfortunate.

Also I learned a new day schedule by getting up at 4 AM and getting to bed at 7-8 PM. Honestly doing stuff or playing games so early before work is refreshing and helps me focusing on the tasks, but also at work. When I come back home at darkness I am absolutely tired, too tired to do anything productive. Then again I am acting really sensible to early darkness.

I just noticed another banner came out. Pulled from the three green stones: Python (new), Lugh and Hilda The five green stones of today gave me two new and three 5* units. Green is the colour of happiness.
