Yeah, always wake up early at the wrong time. Maybe it's my excitement for the long weekend... -

It's long and tedious because you have to clear the dungeons within the given time limit, and the limits will become tighter and tighter. I don't remember how many hours it took for me though. It's been three years since I played it. The final boss was immune to each element if I'm not mistaken (on each difficulty higher than easy). Looks like Laura is causing some trouble. No, I'm not talking about the healer from FE10, but a hurricane. Lousiana and bordered south states of the US are in danger. Stay safe! -

Did a bit more supports in P5R to round up the day. Ryuji is the first one I could max. the level - as expected. Having a higher rank with Ohya than with Chihaya, Hifumi and Kasumi shows me that I did something wrong... Anyways done for today. Played way longer than I wanted to. -

Oh, I didn't mean to change my vote, just to retreat. My plan of being a tiebreaker /-maker failed miserably. BTW I still would like it if I could only vote for the polls I want since I don't want to influence the result by giving a random vote for someone I don't care and / or know. The option "no answer" would be helpful. I mean the round is almost over, so this wouldn't change things anymore.- 170 replies

only two more days Of course I won't order it on release day since I have to play Cold Steel IV first and wait for an English release (at best for Switch). That's not what I meant. Of course each MP game has skill-based games. In 9 you can lose the half of your coins if you triggered a bad event and since there boards are not circled and not long, you will have a hard time to catch up your loss. I lost boards multiple times just because of this. Reached the plottwist of Persona 5. Guess I call it a day for today. -

only to a certain extent You still can win a board just by your skill in the minigames in the older parts at least. My 4,86 € game just arrived. -

It has hardly to do with a real Mario Party game to be honest. It's a gambling game, nothing else. -

There's one mystery about Mario Party 1 which never was answered to me: What's with the yellow coloured event (coins / stars bonus for Bowser) on Bowser space? It never happened to me. Technically I played Mario Party 8 once. It was against an ex friend who also is maybe still a happy owner of Etrian Odyssey IV. Can't give an opinion about this game though. -

I only played 1, 9 and the one for Switch. If you don't like 1's balance, you really shouldn't play 9 because it's entirely luckbased. There are no circled boards and mini games have like no weight because you can pretty much lose all your earning if one bad event happened to you (loses half of your coins instantly). This game was so bad. I personally like the gimmick of stealing the opponent's coins in MP1, but 2 and 3 are more polished regarding boards. -

I'm not familar with any of these mentioned games, but I'd try any of these games out sometime in the future because I like games with lifetime simulation included. As I said it's the only 1 vs. 3 game which screws the single player. Most games give the single player even an advantage like crane game or coin shower flower. If I'm not wrong Mario Party 1 is the only game you can win / lose coins from / to the opponents. -

Mario Party 1 LP by the TheRunawayGuys was the first LP I have ever watched. Good old memories... Can't believe this project will become ten next year. They did a big push for co-op LPs on Youtube. Basn 'n Cash was probably the only game (probably in Mario Party history) the single player had a disadvantage. Technically the Bowser version was better because the lost coins didn't go to the opponents. -

Sounds interesting. So it's basically a mix of simulation like The Sims just taking place on a farm and a RPG? Weather outside scares me. A heavy storm approached past night and robbed my sleep. Really don't want to go out for work, but doing homeoffice with my lack on equipment is no solution either. Just have to hope no tree will hit me. A storm like this in summer is absolute unusual. Rather would expect to happen in winter. -
