Nintendo is still in Smash mode. I'm not surprised at all that we've heard little. However, if January comes and goes and we get nothing, then it's time to worry.

The funny thing is that the "too big" argument doesn't even work with Fates. Because the special edition comes with all 3 routes on one cartridge.

Judging from the information being shown, it shows like it shouldn't be taken as an indication of Three Houses' release. Sounds more like a fun little celebration rather than something you'd make game announcements at.

Honestly, above all else, I wish they'd change Feh's dialogue. It really does sound like a Preschool teacher.

It's pretty curious how not only are new weapons announced, but Tap Battle is ending soon and new quests weren't in Hrid's datamine. So hopefully a Version 3.0 Feh Channel is coming soon. I seriously do not want to wait until after Christmas units for it to come.

That's probably it. Nintendo tends to focus more on immediate titles. Once Smash is done and we shift to 2019, Fire Emblem and Yoshi should be their next major focus as both are scheduled for the spring.

Personally thinking, I think Heroes' writers are being told to intentionally keep the story simple. Given how Heroes plays out like a simplified Fire Emblem, I feel like they're taking that direction with the story too, hence why there is very little overall development and it feels very shonen.

I'm thinking next week will have a Version 3.0 Feh Channel. I find it hard to believe they would wait too long to release it. Doing Christmas before Book 3 would be a bizarre choice.

The fact that Byleth looks to be a sort of military instructor has already raised my hopes. That raises the possibility that he might be a little older than previous Avatars and not be a rookie fighter like the others as well. It looks like a more perfect role for the player. Really, Robin and Corrin already being really strong before they've even done anything always bugged me. Byleth having previous real combat experience (at least I'm hoping that's the case) sounds a lot better.

Actually it kind of does. I forget specifics off the top of my head, and I have seen JRPG's in which Wind and Time have been closely associated, which likely served as the basis for Lucina being Wind. Besides, it is nice for variety's sake. That Water symbolism relates not to Ryoma though. What you just described fits Corrin or Azura more. Under your reasoning, we might as well call Xander a Water Hero by virtue of him being in Fates.

There is nothing associating Ryoma with Water, or Eirika with Water for that matter.

I'm still waiting and hoping for a Jugdral or Valentia Legendary, as the only ones with none after a whole year of this. I mean, so far the breakdown is... Heroes- 3 (Fjorm, Gunnthra, Hrid) Mystery of the Emblem- 2 (Marth, Tiki) Gaiden/Echoes: Shadows of Valentia- 0 Genealogy/Thracia- 0 Binding Blade/Blazing Blade- 2 (Hector, Lyn) Sacred Stones- 2 (Ephraim, Eirika) Path of Radiance/Radiant Dawn- 1 (Ike) Awakening- 2 (Robin, Lucina) Fates- 1 (Ryoma)

Yeah, waiting for Feh Channel is likely the next step, and I feel like that's more likely to come next week than this week.

Yeah, that's what I'm expecting. That once the first 16 are done, they'll just bring in a new batch of 16.

I honestly liked the story in this. It was neat to get a little context to the things we knew about before, plus little extra things like how Fjorm got Leiptr. It's nothing mind-blowing, but getting context like this does make me like the story a little more.

Makes me curious what March and beyond will bring. Will they just start a brand new batch, so will the Legendaries from then on bring something different.

I honestly don't mind whoever wins, so I'll guess I'll pick one at random or something.

Well I actually got a couple wins today, even if I lost many units in both. Plus, I actually got my first 2 ever defensive wins, so that feels nice. :)
