I actually got considerably luckier on this banner compared to the previous 2 Legendary banners. Got a Catria to promote and merge, L'Arachel to promote, and Legendary Ephraim. All with about 50-60 orbs used.

I find it so hilarious how they built Ephraim's kit here. His weapon is made for him to be stronger when no one else is around, and Solar Brace is made to work with healing skills so he can keep his health up. Basically, he's made to take others on on his own, which is pretty faithful to Sacred Stones. :D

Looking at Ephraim's skills, I hope people don't disregard him over the fact that he seems to be made around using Sol to his advantage. I know many tend to disregard that skill.

Well, I guess this does confirm one thing. They won't have more than 1 Legendary unit per color in these banners, with Ephraim apparently replacing Fjorm in this.

I have never been so thankful for Escape Route. I used Brave Ike, Ninian, Performer Azura, and Lyon on Lunatic and got into a pretty bad spot with Takumi and the Red Cavalier as the final opponents. Brave Ike could beat Takumi easily, but Lyon didn't have enough HP to take on the Cavalier and Azura couldn't get a direct hit in. However, Ninian's Escape Route kicked in, and she was able to warp over and take the Cavalier out, getting me the win. :D

As far as I can tell, every playable character is considered a Hero. At least that's the vibe I'm getting. If Hardin can come like this, I'd say Berkut with Kriemhild is equally possible.

I'm never going to get any updates in if they keep doing this! I usually wait until the reset for the trailers to come!

Was the download we got today for anything in particular?

I can easily see something along the lines of how Atlus handles Persona. All main events are voiced, but most of the Social Links/Confidants are not fully voiced (until the very last one anyway).

They probably kept things simple, with this being basically the mode's trial run and all. Chances are, when it returns, there will be more reward variety plus perhaps some changes to the songs.

So tonight we'll get to see what the 100th floor is about. Looking forward to it. :)

I'm glad to see so much positivity for it here. Sure there's room for improvement but it's a nice little fun mode. :D Sadly, the Heroes page on GameFaqs is trying to tear it a new one. Sometimes I wonder why I even go there..

Oh my god.....that is just too awesome. Seriously they need to keep Hidari around somehow. It really makes me wonder how Awakening's characters would look if they got him for that as they originally intended.

Well, we know for sure it had to have been past pre-production at that point. The director of Echoes said FE Switch was in development before they even began work on Echoes. And I doubt they would have teased 2018 if it was only in pre-production at that point because it would be impossible to make that a reality.

There's nothing wrong with a little early talk. :) I mean, there's not much else to talk about. I'm honestly surprised at how tight-lipped they are about this game, even after a full year since they name-dropped it. Frankly it makes me wonder why they bothered mentioning it if they were going to go silent. It's not like they built any real hype for it. Most people outside the core fanbase seem to have forgotten about it as they're too busy foaming at the mouth for Metroid Prime 4 and Pokemon Switch.

Oh boy, so many things.....but yeah if I had to pick one thing above all else, it'd be for full voice acting to come back.

This will be interesting. I have all 3 Legendary Heroes ready to go, and hopefully I'll have whatever new Legendary Hero releases between now and the opening of the mode. I haven't put any Blessings on anyone though. I'll hold off a bit on that until I learn the details of the new mode.

That sounds like a very irrational hate. And the outfits are fitting for a love theme given what Fire Emblem is based on. Better than a bunch of girls running around in heart-shaped dresses or anything. They actually went with something tasteful.

Classical outfits instead of fanservice outfits? Who are these people and what have they done with Intelligent Systems?!! :D
