There would be far less unit variety if the ability to dodge attacks was taken out. The Myrmidon class is pretty much dependent on its ability to dodge attacks and deliver criticals. Take those away, and it's basically just another Mercenary class.

Until they say otherwise, I'll continue to believe it's coming this year. They asserted all last year that Xenoblade Chronicles 2 was coming in 2017 and people continued to disbelieve that all year until they actually gave a December 2017 release, just as they promised.

I guess for me I never fully understood the "no one expected" comment of her ending, possible because I wasn't sure how many of Genny's friends actually knew about her interests.

The wording at the end of Genny's profile is curious. It makes it sound like she didn't marry an older man in the end.

So, on a small note, I guess they retconned another thing from Awakening. That Duma was buried together with Mila with a tree forming from him as well with the two trees eventually merging into the Milla Tree we know. It all pretty much differs from Awakening trying to establish that Duma was buried beneath the Demon's Ingle (called Duma's Remains in the Japanese version). Though frankly, the retcon makes more sense.

It'd be awesome if they gave us CYL2 a lot sooner than last year but not holding my breath on that. 17-18 minutes is pretty long so I doubt it'll just be banners and refinements.

I don't really see any more being free. They'll probably be used as Legendary Heroes like Gunnthra. I'm just curious as to when we'll learn the identity of the other Nifl princess as has been alluded to so far. Perhaps there will be a mention when Fjorm and Gunnthra reunite in the next chapter (hopefully at least).

Welp, guess I can save on a Legendary banner for once. The new units are typically the only ones I do for and Female Robin isn't particularly a favorite of mine.

Yeah that's the sad thing. I actually really like Gray in just about everything else in Echoes. Which just makes it all the worse that it's his supposed romance support that's so awful.

Same here. Out of all the couples in Echoes, they have zero chemistry together. Plus, Gray was kind of a jerk in their support conversations.

Don't care for Kagero, but the other 3 might be interesting.

Flora would definitely make for an interesting battle. She is one of few characters fought in all 3 of Fates' routes. Aside from that, I'd like to see Ishtar and Travant (kind of hoping he's the GHB when Leif's banner drops).

I guess it's okay that the manga is featuring Sharena heavily. I mean, they're giving her next to nothing to do in the main story other than being a cheerleader while Alfonse gets to show off how good a tactician he is.

I'm honestly very curious to see where Laegjarn and Laevateinn go from here. Really hoping we might get some good character arcs with them.

Yeah, there's been enough teasing with Gunnthra already! :) I'm hoping when Fjorm and Gunnthra meet, they'll hint as to what the other Nifl Princess will be up to.

The big thing that worries me now is that any other 2018 game Nintendo releases is going to get overshadowed by Smash Bros now. Seriously, they should have shown FE now and saved Smash Bros for E3.

Gotta say, I'm glad we're getting some new color tomes now. Been a while since we got the owl variant.

I'm not sure about this. Chrom looks interesting but I don't like Morgan, the female one especially with that irritating personality. On the other note, so colorless dragons are a thing now. Interesting.

Bride Lyn. Genny came out the banner before her. Anyway, art looks nice. Leif looks really good, and dang did Nanna get an art upgrade. :)

Whatever the case, I hope they don't make her a staff unit.
