That's why I use stuff with inherent knockback, like rapiers.

The higher number of units means you're ever-so-slightly less screwed on criticals, and the added card effects helps. You also get a second all-stat boosting item and two more units. If you can leverage your opponent's cards against them, it helps immensely.

The only Dark Flier who will take chunks off of someone's health with a tome is Maribelle. Sumia's job is to provide Speed to someone.

Unless he's required, or unless you absolutely, positively need Tiki, he's usually not worth your time. He'll hit hard for a few chapters, but his stats don't hold up, and he takes a ton of turns to recruit.
