I know. Awakening's plot is... Messy, for lack of a kinder word. Gangrel and Walhart get criminally low amounts of exposition so that Robin could be the special snowflake plot element at the end. Validar is a craptastic villain, yet he gets the last arc because he is Avatar's daddy. Both Gangrel and Walhart are potentially great villains whose ideologies should have helped Chrom grow into a real King. But what's done is done.

I totally self inserted with my first and only MaMU file. Self inserting is fun when you don't take it too seriously. There's really no shame in it. The point of an avatar is to self insert. Still I care about gameplay more than waifus so I always pick FeMU because Galeforce. Also, Male Morgan is cooler than Female Morgan.

I'd love to say Mustafa but I didn't feel like he was a villain of sorts, just doing his job. But he was very well fleshed-out for an enemy general. Aside from him I just really like Walhart, he had good reasons but his execution was bad plus he looked like a complete badass. Lobster armour best armour!
This. Mustafa isn't a villain. He was just on the villain's side.
Whoa, there was no need for that. I agree that Mustafa is a shit villain because apparently the only way any decent person could ever oppose our heroes is if they're being blackmailed or brainwashed into it is just awful.
Considering that we don't know jack about Mustafa (thanks, Awakening), how do you know he was being blackmailed? Here's the verbatim of what he said when the soldier wanted to retreat.
Soldier: But I don't wish to abandon you, sir!
Mustafa: I cannot defy the King, lad. I know him well, he would murder my wife and child to set an example.
Mustafa wasn't being blackmailed, he simply knew what would have happened if he did just decide to up and join the merry band of heroes that is Chrom's army. I'd argue that Mustafa is really one of the few characters in this game capable of rational thought (next to the Khans and Walhart). There have probably been other times where he didn't agree with Gangrel's decisions but he stilled his tongue out of fear of the consequences.
The misunderstanding here is that Mustafa is a well written villain when the guy isn't really a villain to begin with. Still, he would have made for an awesome prepromote Zerker.

Actually, you shouldn't be optimizing kids on any difficulty. Kids are impractical for main game. Also OP, you should check the pairing thread. It will answer all of your questions. A loooooot of discussion there.

Walhart. Gangrel had potential but Walhart should have been the final boss. Walhart actually had a plan to unite the world as opposed to Chrom. The difference between a King and a Conqueror could really been the highlight of this game and the highlight of Chrom's character development. But nooooooo, they had to shove in a Dragon final boss and make Robin super important to the plot, didn't they? That final Arc was just not good. The Valm Arc, though it was filler, had a lot of potential (like plenty of things in Awakening). As far as the children are concerned? Well, instead of Grima destroying the world, it could have been Walhart took over the world and ruled with a tyrannical fist. I dunno man, they could have done something. Walhart kills me because there is so much missed potential in him.
Walhart's support with FeMU is undoubtebly one of the best in the whole game. I advise everyone who hasn't seen it to watch it immediately.

Male - Chrom. It's just so damn cheesy but so damn perfect. I swooned, even though I'm a heterosexual male.

Ah, sorry about that. In this file Lucina's mother is Sumia. Is a Sumia!Lucina usually better off as magical?
Also, something random that I've been wondering for a long time and can't seem to find: does Aggressor work if the unit with it is in the back? E.g. on player phase, Severa w/ GF attacks while paired with Gerome who has Aggressor -- do Gerome's DS attacks benefit from the skill?
Allow me to chip in, if I may.
Sumia!Lucina has a +0 Str mod and a +1 Magic mod. Sumia!Lucina can pull off either magical or Physical well because her real perk is her +4 Skl and +5 Speed mod, along with access to Tomefaire Dark Flier and Tomefaire Sage for magical from Sumia and acess to Lancefaire Paladin, Bowfaire Sniper, and Lancefaire Great Lord for physical from Chrom. She's the middle child between full physical Olivia!Lucina and full magical Maribelle!Lucina.
Basically, for Sumia!Lucina it boils down to preference.
For your second question, Aggressor is essentially a player phase -faire. It works for the unit in the back as well. Meaning on Player phase, Aggressor Gerome is getting an extra 10 damage per hit on player phase and an extra 5 damage per hit on Apotheosis enemies.

I also like making my avatar a class with bows. How can you be a proper dating sim matchmaker without a quiver full of Cupid's golden arrows? You can't.
Bow Access is one of the reasons I love Assassin. Only Physical Weapon that ignores Pavise and Weapon Triangle. Also, Cupid status.

Erm, I can see young male Avatar and Nowi. . .but Tiki? She looks like she's old enough to go bar-hopping and not get carded.
She would probably get free drinks too due to her Tikis being exposed.

Hey everyone, long time Lurker here. I'm Ownagepuffs. I'm really active over at the GFaqs Awakening Board but I decided to sign up here to learn more about this series. Awakening has taken my soul but now I'm trying to expand into the rest of the series. I've picked up 6, 7, and 8 and I would love to play Genealogy somehow. A friend of mine has 9 and 10 that he said he would lend me but I have no GC/Wii to play it with ;~;

Y'know, even if I could choose which skill to pass to Chrom's kids it would still be Aether. Every single time. Aether Inigo, Aether Brady, Aether MORGAN!
But even then... I'd still do Chrom x Sumia. It's superior to Chrolivia in just about every way and I <3 Aether Cynthia.
