  1. For Lunatic+, which Asset/Flaw combo would be recommended if I were to marry Cordelia? I'm contemplating +Spd/-Lck, +Def/-Lck, and +Def/-Skl. Is there such a combination that wouldn't screw me over entirely before I pair up with her?

    (ATM, I'm on Lunatic Classic.)

  2. Missed Donnel!Inigo(Lck+4)!Morgan & Olivia!Morgan.

As another topic said, exclusive skills do increase the limit.

    P.S.

    Stahl/Kellam/Gaius/Henry!Noire!Morgan (-Lck, +Str/Mag/Skl/Res)

Lck 48 with LB - unable to 100% AT without pair-up, rally, All+2, etc.

Ah, I didn't account for the Luck +4 skill (since I wasn't counting it with Limit Break).

And yes, that is pretty hilarious as to how low the Luck stat can go. May as well make the edits.

EDIT: Made the changes and also included Olivia!Lucina since Lucina can inherit Luck +4 from Olivia and slightly beat out Donnel!Nah.

  3. I was planning on it, but the cast is pretty huge and lord help me with the ones with spiky hair and hats. If you'd like, here's a shot from Walhart to Libra that I did quite a while ago. I'll... I'll get it done eventually. Some of these people are about the same height, so that's just a quick note.

    Vx6zFrC.png

    Don't forget Build 2 Avatar!

  4. Why not just make something with Morgan and without, since Morgan will win by default?

I'm well aware that Morgan will win by default, even as a second gen. kid (since their Avatar parent can carry a +4 modifier to a non-HP stat in certain Asset Flaw combinations and the fact that some of the Spotpass story characters carry whopping +4 stat modifiers). I decided to leave out the 2nd gen. Morgan as there is 3rd gen. Morgan with even an even bigger stat cap modifier for a specific stat. Want me to add in 2nd gen. Morgan, both genders, in each stat category?

EDIT: Added in combinations for second generation Morgan into the original post.

  5. Here is the list of possible ways to have one at least of the children characters achieve the highest stat cap modifier for a specific stat for both genders, showing the second generation children with the variable parent as well as third generation Morgan (with the listed Asset/Flaw combinations required for the Avatar) and the highest possible stat when applied to a class with the Limit Break skill equipped.

For the case of the children character having access to the Taguel or Manakete class, the Taguel or Manakete class will be shown in addition to the regular class that character can access with the Limit Break skill equipped along with the stat bonus Beaststone+ or Dragonstone+ provides when equipped respectively.

This list is done for convenience and is NOT intended to be an optimization guide because of the following reasons:

    1. Optimization is not required to make a child character gamebreaking.
    2. The listed combinations may cause a child character to have possible penalties in stats.
    3. The listed combinations may cause a child character to miss out on possible class/skill options.
    4. A combination can cause other child characters to miss out on stat cap boosts and class/skill options.
    5. You can just use this list so you can make a child character with a very high stat just to show off in a Streetpass team.
    6. Such wow.

Please let me know if there are any errors in the list or any possible combination that I may have missed.

    Enjoy!

  6. No, maybe it's your connection... So to know if the problem comes from your 3ds, you could try to connect at a friend/relative's home.

That may be the case, especially since Comcast Internet seems to be pretty bad during this time of the year. Though it still irks me in that my computer (and my parent's iPad) has an easier time connecting to the Internet than the 3DS does.

  7. What is your login data looking like, for the connection?

Try kicking it down from WPA to WEP, if you can. Are you seeing this occur on any/and/all WIFI connections, or just one?

In most of the times that it failed, it shows that it was trying to connect to the Internet. And it is using a WEP key IIRC. Also, only the 3DS WiFi connection is particularly iffy. (Occasionally, Internet at home may randomly blink off for a few minutes.

Have you tried to connect at a friend's home? (Also, is your PC wired? Or using a wireless connection?)

I'm not trying to connect at a friend's home; I'm trying to connect at my own home. (My PC, as a laptop, uses wireless connection.)

  8. I'm not entirely sure if this sort of thread is in the right forum, so apologies in advance.

As some of you may have already know, I enjoy taking screenshots of Fire Emblem Awakening and posting them on Miiverse. However, recently, my 3DS XL system has begun to act up.

Despite using the same credentials like my PC does to be connected to the Internet, my 3DS XL is having a very hard time remaining connected or even be connected to the Internet. I can't use it to go to Miiverse, the eShop or onto the 3DS Internet Browser, though there are some instances in which it acts as normal, albeit for a short amount of time.

I did connection tests on it -- the results are that it takes a very long time to confirm that it is connected to the Internet (rarely), or that the connection test failed due to the network being busy or problems in the connection environment (often) [Error code: 003-2102].

Attempts to go onto Miiverse either sends me to Miiverse (Offline Mode), an Error message screen [Error code: 022-5548], or just leaves the 3DS being stuck in trying to connect to the Internet. Returning to the Home Menu after giving up trying to connect or after failing to connect to the Internet results in the 3DS taking a VERY long time returning to the Home Menu or even freezing, forcing me to turn off the game and lose unsaved game data. I can still access Miiverse via PC and mobile as normal.

Also, throughout the whole mess, even putting it to sleep mode seems to make it act screwy at times -- there are times when I open the system back up, it was either stuck with black screens or even not come out of sleep mode (the blue light still blinks even when the system was open one time). Just what the heck is going on?!

    Help will be greatly appreciated!

  9. pretty much the entire lot of fe4-5 bonus characters, plus dlc!marth, dlc!roy, shanna and the dlc whitewings, ground up to cap everything (including boots uses) because i have no life

unsurprisingly lewyn is now the most expensive of the lot

Dude, try grinding a total of 96 characters, max them out with Limit Break in ALL classes and have them learn all skills possible for them on top of having Boots added onto them. Over 700 of gameplay hours clocked onto my main Normal-Casual file. And Spotpass Pr. Marth is the most expensive Logbook unit possible (max value of 151,400 G).

  10. A lot of people like ChromXOlivia just so they can make the "best" Inigo (since he can use Rightful King to boost up Astra and Lethality proccing rates -- common in "OP" Streetpass teams). >_>

If there's anything I like about the pairing, it's that Inigo is still a philanderer even as crown prince and that he ends up being a chicken in his C-support with Lucina.

  11. Any one of the following:

    • Give staff-users (ie. clerics like Lissa or troubadours like Maribelle) a chance to gain a lot of exp. for using Rescue Staves as well as possibly using the Physic staff [if staff rank is C+] to heal a Villager in the event that one actually did get damaged)
    • Abuse fliers
    • Abuse ranged weapons
    • Abuse Galeforce (if grinding was done beforehand)
    • Obtain a Seraph Robe, Log and Ladle free (as well as a Blessed Bow for visiting the village).
    • To have access to the shop after completion (sells Heal, Mend, Vulnerary and Concoction -- earliest shop that sells Concoctions if you clear the paralogue immediately after unlocking it)
    • Any combination of the above
  12. So, what units do you players keep in your Avatar Logbook? Streetpass Avatars? Legacy characters? Avatars of your own creation? Share them here!

At the moment, my Logbook is filled with a grand total of 96 units (that are maxed out with Limit Break in all classes, have all skills and Boots used on them) with the following:

    • All 17 DLC legacy characters
    • My Normal Casual Avatar (Robin; male; +HP/-Lck)
    • My Lunatic Classic Avatar (Robin; male; +Def/-Lck)
    • My genderswap Avatar (Robin; female; +HP/-Lck)
    • My Bow Knight Avatar (Sue; female; +Spd/-Lck; appearance based off of Sue from FE6)
    • My Griffon Rider Avatar (Skyla, female, +Str/-Lck; based loosely from Skyla/Fuuro from the 5th gen. main series Pokemon games)
    • 75 Spotpass legacy characters (which includes all female Spotpass legacy characters just so Fire Emblem Awakening can live up to its nickname "Waifu Emblem")
  13. Grandmaster with Limit Break, Armsthrift, Ignis, Renewal and Counter. Armed with Valflame, Celica's Gale (forged with +5 MT, +15 Hit), Ragnell and Brave Sword (forged with +5 MT, +15 Hit). It's a jack-of-all-trades, master-of-none type class that lives up to being ridiculously balanced, especially with an HP asset and Luck flaw.

  14. I remember posting several screenshots that are on Donnel committing mass murder in his recruitment paralogue on Lunatic Classic difficulty. Quite a few folks there wondered how that happened when it really involved babysitting Donnel with Logbook units as he kills all enemies on the map (minus the one thief that runs off with the Killer Lance weapon that can still be bought from Spotpass teams).

Here's a screenshot showing Donnel with the applicable boosts (he was lv. 13 when the paralogue was finished): https://miiverse.nintendo.net/posts/AYMHAAACAAAYUKlZntXp3Q

A possible matchup in Paralogue 1 in Lunatic Classic while Donnel was still level 1: https://miiverse.nintendo.net/posts/AYMHAAACAAAYUKlZnsAA6g

  15. Here's an answer: use Logbook units like legacy characters. An example would be Spotpass Jamke since he is essentially a male Avatar with Strength Asset and Skill Flaw (max stat cap mods of +3 Str, -1 Skl and +1 Def) and comes with Galeforce. Since he is a male legacy unit, he can reclass to learn other skills. One such skill he can learn is Counter, which is rather troll on a Sniper. And of course, he can pick up other skills like Armsthrift, Bowbreaker, Pavise/Aegis, Vantage, etc.

  16. On a Lunatic Classic skirmish, I tend to play defensively using only Logbook characters as at the moment, they're the only characters I have that can stand a chance -- gotta love Dual Support+, Dual Guard+ and auto-2x weapons!

If it's Normal Casual and I'm entering something like a Skirmish or a Golden Gaffe run using units with maxed out stats with Limit Break... Auto Battle on Blitz.
