Yup, screenshots of Robin's and Lucina's alternate costumes, the latter of which are derived from other characters from Fire Emblem Awakening! Share your thoughts here! For the case of Lucina, from left to right, there's the default costume, Nowi, Cherche, Cordelia, Tiki, Lissa, Tharja and Sumia!

EDIT: added in Robin's alts. and hid the screenshots because of spoilers.

My thoughts on their costumes: by default, I would use the default costumes. However, in case the mood strikes me, or if it becomes apparent that visibility is becoming an issue and I don't want to put up a thick outline for the characters, I like green, red, blue and yellow costumes on Robin. For the case of Lucina, I actually like all of them since I can see the amount of effort Sakurai and his team put into the costumes (personal bias towards Cordelia, Tiki, Cherche, Lissa and Sumia).

By the way, doesn't Lucina in the Nowi alt costume look a lot like Nino from FE7?

... And can't believe that I just saw this now... male Robin in his white costume makes him look a lot like Kirito in his Knights of the Blood Oath uniform from Sword Art Online.

  2. 1. Have 10 stat capped units that have Boots used on them and have Galeforce, Armsthrift and Limit Break (this essentially means units from the Avatar Logbook are preferred), in classes that have base 8 movement (becomes 10 thanks to Boots) and weapons that allow them to attack at 1-2 range.

    2. Set auto-battle to Blitz. Make sure all animations are turned off and skip over enemy actions.

    3. Deploy those units and use Auto-Battle blitz -- should take no more than 2 turns per trip.

  3. For me, everybody but Donnel -- for the case of Donnel, I put him in the Hero class as his final class (though I made sure that he has A-rank in bows so he can go into the Warrior and Bow Knight classes, both of which have maxed capped stats with Limit Break, without being denied stuff like Brave weapons if I ever feel like it).

Morgan is also reclassed (in gameplay) since I made her final class the Grandmaster class -- she starts off as a Pegasus Knight since I had Robin marry Cordelia.

  4. ...Then there's the ones that are like "Rate my Avatar"

...Ok, I see this wrong, this wrong, this wrong, you can do better here...

    "STOP SAYING I SUCK!!!" *Ignore*

(Ahem, you asked for a rating. I gave you a 2 and listed areas where you can improve. Yes, some of that is "REROLL" but that's the nature of the game.)

I remember how it was last winter when the Miiverse community was relatively new. Some players just can't handle constructive criticism and consider it "bullying."

  5. If you want to see stupidity of the FE13 playerbase, just take a look at Miiverse's Fire Emblem Awakening community. There are many players in there who think they're outright OP by having a rating of 200+ -- 553 rating to them looks ridiculous -- and by having the Lethality skill. There are also many players who are too lazy to look online for a guide for stuff like item locations. And of course, there are players who get REALLY sore when it comes to spoilers when there are a crapton of posts regarding Lucina or a Spotpass paralogue character... not to mention the fact that the game is more than 2 YEARS old at this point.

  6. Normal: anything goes

Hard: I guess anything goes but never played Hard mode myself to see

Lunatic(+): +Defense, +HP, +Spd; -Lck, -Skl (really anything goes, but the following Assets and Flaws are typically the easier ones to have early game)

    What I used:

    Normal: +HP/-Lck

    Hard: N/A (never attempted)

    Lunatic: +Def/-Lck

    Lunatic+: +HP/-Lck

  7. Funnies:

    Chrom + Frederick support

Inigo + Owain support (lol, "Eternal Chastity" before Owain pulls off a well-placed diss)

    Inigo + Gerome support

    Inigo + Brady support

    Lon'qu + Nowi support

    Tharja + Gaius support

    F!Morgan + Yarne support

Laurent + Owain Hot Spring Scramble convo

Gerome + Yarne Hot Spring Scramble convo

Kjelle + Severa Harvest Scramble convo

Tharja + Nowi Harvest Scramble convo

Fart jokes from Gangrel and Basilio

    Laurent + Nah support

    Virion + Libra support

Aversa + Tiki Hot Spring Scramble convo

Priam + Walhart Hot Spring Scramble convo

Robin + Lucina Hot Spring Scramble convo (regular)

  8. The Avatar's second child is practically a clone of Morgan (if there were to be any differences whatsoever, it would only be present in the case that the children are gender opposites or if the other child is Lucina, and of course, the possibility of the player having the children inherit different skills). Still great, but stat caps may not match up to that of 3rd gen. Morgan.

  9. Unquestionably Morgan by default for reasons listed by other users -- giant class skillpool, best stat caps (especially if Morgan is a third generation character), and the ability to have as many as 2 unique (gender/character exclusive) skills or having a unique class (Taguel or Manakete). And of course, only a third generation Morgan can achieve the highest in a possible stat as well as the only character that can deal the highest amount of damage in a single blow (636 IIRC).

Robin's good because they're very good for most (if not the entire) game and their skillpool rivals that of Morgan's (only slightly smaller due to being a first gen. character) -- the only thing that Robin truly has over Morgan is the giant list of supports.

  10. You don't even need to worry much about having Donnel marry in a no-grind Lunatic+ run for the simple fact that Donnel, in all seriousness, would most likely not survive his recruitment paralogue (even in vanilla Lunatic, he can still get doubled ORKO'd on top of having a 1-range weapon and a WTD against most mooks on the map if he doesn't have tonics and Rallybots and a Pair Up partner backing him up). Even with Aptitude, he's still very weak when he joins your team, making him a very big liability should he be deployed with the intention that he survives the battle.

  11. I think you're focusing too much on mods. Characters won't be capping stats until near the end of the game if at all without using a really small team, besides maybe kids with Veteran, but those just need to get started so they can become monsters.

I also dizagree with some of your skill suggestions. Astra requires going Swordmaster, which is generally not the best idea. Sol is good in game, and obtained from a much better class. Limit Breaker means beating RaR3, which is harder than just beating the game without it. Vaike would suck up a lot of experience trying to get Axefaire to pass down.

The suggestions are made with the assumption that the player has access to paid DLC and is willing to use it. In a no-DLC, minimal/no-grind Lunatic(+) run, I wouldn't even suggest trying to recruit Inigo at all -- he's simply too much trouble thanks to Olivia having weak joining stats at Chapter 11 and requiring dance grinding -- even then, Inigo may require babysitting. Severa is only worth a shot if the player is willing to spend gold on Rescue staves to pull her out of trouble before she joins. Donnel is as good as cannon fodder (AKA. dead) in his joining paralogue unless you somehow have the gold to recruit Rallybots and a strong Pair Up partner to help him.

  12. Stahl!Inigo is a good pairing since it's very similar to Chrom!Inigo, just that Stahl!Inigo obviously does not have Rightful King.

Cordelia x Lon'qu can be a good pairing since Severa gets +2 Strength, +6 Skill and +6 Speed mods -- Severa can come close to or exceed 60 in her Skill and Speed stats in Falcon Knight and Hero classes with Limit Break equipped. Astra isn't too good alone, but if it's the attack skill that has the highest proc rate available for that character, it works at least -- some characters have no attack procs at all (ie. Virion) or only have Lethality available (ie. Panne).

Cordelia x Vaike can also be considered if you want Severa to have Luna (since Severa inherits the Knight and Thief class lines from Vaike) while having +5 Strength, +4 Skill and +4 Speed mods as well as the option to have Axefaire.

  13. It's personal preference really. And you don't have to worry about shadowofchao's love for Olivia as he already got over that a while ago (and hence his preference/wish for a M!RobinxF!Robin pairing) Also, I do recall in one of his vids that every save file is essentially a parallel universe.

I went with Cordelia for my Lunatic+ Classic run using my +HP/-Lck M!Robin. With that pairing, I can have Morgan and Severa with the stat mods of +2 Str, +0 Mag, +3 Skl, +3 Spd, -1 Lck, +3 Def, +2 Res.

Male Robin has Axefaire, Counter and the freedom to pick a wife that can give him 2 kids.

Female Robin has Galeforce, Dual Support+ and the option to S support Chrom.

Marrying a 2nd gen. child is only worthwhile if going for a Morgan that specializes in a specific stat or going for a Morgan with 2 gender-exclusive skills (ie. M!Morgan with both Dual Support+ and Galeforce).
