    All right, I got back from vacation the other day. It's nice to see that Aitos himself is here now, that should make this LP more interesting. I ended up spending most of my free time over vacation over on the GameFAQs Fates boards, and I must say, the FE GameFAQs community is a lot different from the pre-3DS community, and for the better, I'd say, as there are far less trolls and fad topics. Nowadays it's mostly waifu topics and social/RP topics, which isn't so bad IMO. I've met a lot of cool people, and I'll even admit, I ended up making 5 or so RP accounts myself. I'll try and get an update out ASAP.

    Story wise, she is. In her and Joshua's supports, they are evenly matched, but their ending states she became the best swordfighter in Jehanna, implying she surpassed Joshua.

    Actually they will be. This is part of a poll series, and the results from all the previous polls are posted in the OP of each new poll. People will be noticing and potentially commenting on it. Notably, the Corrin vs Xander poll ended up being redone because the maker of the polls got too many complaints that Xander would actually win.

Marisa is literally the top swordfighter in Jehanna in her ending with Joshua, she's faced 1,000+ men and never lost, and she has literally dedicated her entire life to improving her swordsmanship. She's even famous enough to have earned a title and a reputation. Seriously, her skill with the sword can't be understated.

    Ilia route is better anyway. I'd unbench Shin if you want Sacae. If you haven't recruit Tate yet, it's not too late to unbench him.

    But he buffs Reyson and Leanne. Of course, I've never played Cipher, so I have no idea what the metagame is like. Reyson and Leanna could be shit too for all I know.

    I suppose, but Bantu, Oliver, and Matthis at least have niches(and Oliver isn't even that bad tbh), the only good thing about Merlinus is hid "time to witthdraw" skill, and that's mitigated by his terrible stats and awful "non-combatant" skill. He's also the only one without a skill that relates to another character. Merlinus is by far the worst one.

    Why is Merlinus so terrible? Is he meant to be a joke card or something?

    Interesting how Narcian got a card before any of the other FE6 villains. I'd imagine it's due to his popularity.

    HP, Skl, and Spd all look fine, but 5 and 6s are stats you'd expect to see on like a level 1-5 unit. I'll admit the 5s and 6s are actually a bit higher than what a level 1 Peg would likely have, so I did exaggerate a bit, but they're still lower than what I'd expect of a level 9 one. Looking at her averages, she does look pretty decent regardless, so I'd at least use her throughout Val's mode.

    Yeah, Cecilia has absolutely terrible stats for a pre-promote,. And the thing is, while most pre-promotes in this game end up with relatively bad final stats(only Karel, Perceval, Hard Mode Garret, the snipers[lol], and maybe Bartre and/or Echidna have decent final averages if fully leveled) because very few of them have good growths, most of them at least have decent bases and for their level and join time, but not Cecilia. If it weren't for staff utility, high movement, her starting A in anima, and/or her good supports she'd be utter trash. More on topic, I always use Lugh and Lilina. Both are useful IMO. Lugh's probably a bit better overall, due to better speed and availability, but Lilina has the highest Str/Mag growth in the game aside from Karel and Fae, and a very fast and useful support with Roy, plus Roy/Lilina is my FE6 OTP, so she's not a bad choice at all, and there's nothing stopping you from using multiple units of the same class.

    Go with Lilina. Her super fast and super helpful support with Roy is not to be underestimated. Just be sure to throw her a speedwings or two if and when you come across any.

    Maybe the Japanese epilogue said something different that was less inconsistent with FE6. Anyone have the Japanese script on hand?

    Now I just did Katsuragi from Senran Kagura, and his first guess was Ayla from Chrono Trigger, then he guessed Phosphora from KI, and then the server went down briefly for maintenance so I had to start over, and he got her on his first try that time. I find his guessing skills largely depend on if he ends up asking the right questions.

    I just tried Batta the Beast. First he tried Gheb, then Lloyd Reed, then Zephiel. He didn't get it, though he does apparently recognize Batta. Seriously, why does he know one-shot bosses like Batta and Gheb but not major villains like Narcian?

    Now I'm doing Narcian and he guessed Cormag at first. His second guess was Zephiel. He's getting a bit warmer, it's the same game at least. After that it stopped working for me, so who knows how close he would have gotten. I'll try again. This is fun. EDIT: Turns out he didn't even know who Narcian was. I just did Gheb now, and he guessed correctly. Why did he know Gheb but not Narcian? For shame.

    He correctly guessed I was thinking of Marisa. Edit: I just did Wolt, and he got really close by guessing Wil, but alas, he was wrong. He just did Rolf as a second guess. Let's see how long he takes to get it. Now he's guessed Kiragi. He's getting colder and colder. And now he's guessing Tidus. Smh. He gave up after that.

    I didn't post this same topic on a different forum to start a topic. I posted a similar topic about whether FE7 specifically was overrated with the intent of starting a shit storm, and while I did post a topic very much like this one too, only without the 3DS titles because there wasn't room due to gamefaqs's silly 10 poll option limit, that one wasn't made with the purpose of starting a shitstorm.
