Well we would have to poll the entire internet to find that out and that would be impossible. I lean toward creating non self inserts as OC love interests for fictional characters, even if said fictional characters are ones I find attractive myself lol. I'd totally give Reyn or Dunban some loving for example...and both have full fleshed non self insert OC lady loves. BUT Xenoblade also has a main protagonist who is his own character and not meant to be a surrogate/self interest for the player and he is awesome. Even if I swear he's my spirit animal lol. Still doesn't count.

Why did I not realize this before? It makes total sense. Also, if you were a hunter, you could become an archer easily. Not everyone lived on a farm with cows and pigs etc to kill for meat, so I figure a lot of archers for the military started out shooting wild animals to feed themselves and their family. You could buy from the local farmer yeah, but if you could kill your own meat you probably did that more often.

Sword items appear, Egil will use them and jump around, dodge, and throw laser projectiles. He will also throw swords at you if another one appears that he wants and use the new one, and if it's plausable for bosses to do such things, he will disable Monado arts temporarily when he's at low health. Too many bosses are big slow things, so I took the mecha away from him and had him outside it for a epic badass sword fight.
