  1. I'm gonna do it for shits and giggles. I selfexplanatorily won't count the playthrough for this draft, so someone else can do it by themselves to make it count for them. [spoiler=I'll note the TCs that I get here]C1 11 C2 11/22 C3 9/31 note: 2x silver crit!
  2. warpskipping doesn't require any savestates because bosskills aren't very hard. wolf and sedgar don't suck at all and can be used even in efficient play as heroes or temporary generals, and on less efficient play, they are useful as longterm generals that can also find use as quicker and still bulky 1-2 range users, and I'm assuming Merciless mode for that. Jagen doesn't suck either due to his awesome early utility, especially on harder difficulties. Hard mode doesn't require an early promotion and I don't see how that would hurt because a promotion is a significant improvement to the unit anyway. and being unable to face ambush reinforcements.... lol, own fault. What reason would you have to put Lena near the Hero and Manakete reinforcements' spawning point? since those are chapter 24 and 25 only as far as I recall, where this occasion is easy to circumvent.
  3. it isn't fun just because you get a unit that overpowers it (besides, Abel, Hardin and Cain can sort of replace Frey), it's boring because it lacks any challenge depending on how experienced you're with FE. also, none of the FE11 reinforcements are unlimited.
  4. due to me taking about 3 or 4 or whatever minutes to rig the shiida crit, and using the speedup function, I think I rigged more than once per minute, since my emulator probably uses the clock in my PC, so either the crit was first attack for the minute out of coincidence or the system is different. I recall getting both misses and hits within the same minute in the same combat when rigging. same for killer crits that I rigged, and devil axe / sword.
  5. idrk how the rng works, however, you can rig levels with different results within 1 minute, so it isn't the sole factor.
  6. you're free to quit, it isn't that rare that people don't proceed their draft playthroughs. I'm still 100% sure that it is possible if you rig a crit, but if you refuse to, nobody is forcing you. (besides, this would be the last crit rig you would do without having crit forges at your disposal or maybe like, at all)
  7. GOD TIER MAP, 1ST PLACE IS TOO LOW: FE6 C16, DOUGLAS JOINS AND THERE ARE MANY GENERIC WALL TILES TO BE BROKEN DOWN BY HIM FOR MORE GOABLE DISTANCE 1st FE12 C21 - Wyverns' Dale 2nd FE6 C21 - The Binding Blade 3rd FE11 C21 - Clash in Macedon This isn't a joke, I sort of like large maps that are tough if you play quickly. They all have awesome background music (and 2 of them introduce the awesome bgm). 4th FE12 C22 - Dragon's Altar 5th FE12 C23 - Dark Pontifex Lives Why do I like those the most? No clue, but I like how they have some strong initial enemies and then force you to seize quickly by bringing nigh-unbeatable (on loony at least) reinforcements.
  8. Honestly, on FE12 I rarely quad with Brave weapons on vanilla lunatic. I use them to circumvent counters like, pretty much only, except for Horseman versus Dragon on enemy phase. In case Brave Bow can 3HKO-1RKO a Berserker, Parthia can ORKO too with 2 hits, with the same applying to Brave Sword and Mercurius. I also think that the otherwise undoubleable Lunatic endgame enemies are intended to balance fe12!braves out. On FE11, the enemy braves will like never double you unless lolGeneral lolTinked. On FE13, Braves are a good way to overpower Grima and their availability isn't that high unless you care for postgame. Also, 4x attacks are marked in a different colour than 2x attacks, so IS definitely knew about the effect. I think they are perfectly fine (= not really broken) as they are currently, even though I agree that they aren't exactly balanced.
  9. Skl lck spd hp is what roy frequently procced on my NM run... though I was aware that the final boss is a joke and didn't bother to rig str, and fun fact, he could ORKO a C22 Sorcerer with about no Str procs.
  10. 11: Clash of 2 virtues, together we ride yeah it's in both i know stfu, a hero's destiny 12: Dark Emperor Hardin, Towards Victory, Holy War, Dragon's Altar
  11. 19 is the wolfguard chapter and dracoknights have 10 mov, I wouldn't dare to take on them in lunatic either without praying for dodges
  12. First and most important reason of course is ROY'S OUR BOY LOL and I like how he always refuses merlinus' advice because merlinus sucks
  13. yeah, rescue bombing is what you thought
  14. maybe by allowing Fred to facetank or to sit on Robin during Prologue, while making a 2-man Formation against the outline of the map on turn 1, and quickly making their way to an earlier water trick. or just allowing him to attack on prologue because it's prologue. still, it is probably hard to execute with former restriction, so I'd really allow him to be used on Prologue.
  15. I personally dislike pre-release hyping, maybe because we have no clue if it's as great as the hype suggests. I'm not hyped for this game either. Part of me thinks "eh, I'm gonna lolChristmas", another part of me thinks "can't go wrong with a challenge, blind hardest mode LTC yes or yes?" lol. I'm probably gonna do a quick decision depending on how bored I am during the release.
  16. that's too bad, but you can still try to handle the initially moving fighters semi-efficiently (Steel!Cain, Silver!Jagen, Steel!Gordin and Marth should be able to kill 3 Fighters in an enemy phase and a player phase), and block the hunters off with undrafted units. unequipped draug can hole up the upper group around him, with only 2 guys being able to attack when he sits on a certain chokepoint. use vulneraries to heal jagen up, and use the same boss area positioning as I did to set up the seize the next turn without Jagen taking damage. you can still rig the steel sword crit because a unit will certainly be near a save point. you'll probably not be that quick this way, but at least you can seize within a reasonable time. or am I misunderstanding your issue?
  17. it's a thing of personal attitude, either you like the way they add a challenge to a chapter or you don't, I personally like it.
  18. Chapter 21, 3/115 Turns https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJmNJFsGt4A Made a video out of laziness. I played unsafely with Shiida and should have rigged the EP1 Devil Axe, but whatever. The generic DK should have blocked the Paladin on turn 2 so that Shiida doesn't face CoD. Xane should have imitated Ymir on turn 1. The reason to pull the Javelin!Dracoknight on turn 1 is that Marth would otherwise be threatened by an ORKO if he'd move to the spot where he was on Turn 2. I improvised a bit because it was first-try. This clear isn't particularly hard on H1 though, unless you lack a bulky and quick enough unit. Jake met a certain benchmark too on this chapter. EDIT: the link is a joke and doesn't work... I guess you can search FE11 Draft Chapter 21 3-turn if you care to see it fixed it Chapter 22, 7/122 Turns Forged a +6 Mt +21 Crit Pachyderm and gave it to Jake. He has 45 Atk after 2 Energy Drops. Shiida is a Dracoknight with Starsphere and Gradivus. Her position on turn 2 is 6D1L of the village. Jake OHKOes the DK right beside Michalis with Arrowspate on Turn 1, and both Xane and Jake killed the Curates on Turn 2. Shiida kills 2 Peg Knights, 1 Paladin and 1 Dracoknight on EP2. She kills a HM on PP3, with the other one going to Draug. Recall the 4 Generic A class units I had on 21? All of them were DKs and meatshield Marth so I don't have to speedwing and to robe him just to survive Pallies. After PP 4, everything but the Thief and the Peg Knight was killed (Michalis could be killed by the Pachyderm forge within 2 rounds), so Marth just headed for the gate, with Shiida and Generic DK in front of him so the PK won't kill him. Jake and Xane could also OHKO Paladins with the forge and did so once. Jagen was a Sniper and used the steel bow forge once in this chapter. [spoiler=Stats]Marth, Wrys, Boah, Xane, Athena lol Caesar, 2.40, no changes Shiida, 18.06, 52 HP / 15 Str / 25 Spd / 15 Def / 6 Res @ Paladin @ 2 Robes, 1 Shield Wolf, 17.10, 50 HP / 20 Str / 22 Spd / 18 Def / 1 Res @ Hero Draug, 12.15, 39 HP / 16 Str / 25 Spd / 10 Def / 3 Res @ HM Jagen, 9.90, 28 HP / 12 Str / 15 Spd / 10 Def / 4 Res @ Sniper Ymir, 10.86, base Jake, 22.21, 28 HP / 21 Str Chapter 23, 7/129 Turns Shiida soloes all non-swarm users with Pure Water, Sphere and Gradivus. Jake kills Swarm!Bishops, which are distracted from Pure Water!Marth by my Heroes and by Draug. Before actually tackling the map, I used a savepoint to have Shiida dash towards the upper right Gharnef to determine which Gharnef he is. If he isn't the real one, I can restart from the savepoint and just execute the solo run strategy. Stats: Shiida procced Str and Def, but I doubt there being a big importance. Jake proc'd Str too. Chapter 24, 4/133 Turns Shiida sits on a Peak tile as a DK, pulling a Fire Dragon and 2 Snipers, the latter of which get ORKOed. Jake critblicks a Mage Dragon on Turn 1. Shiida, Wolf, Jake and Xane clear the remaining enemies. The bosskill was Shiida Gradivus double + Pachyderm. Chapter 24x, 11 free turns/133 Shiida solo. No need for exp. Chapter 25, 1/134 Turns lolBosskillmaps. Jake crits Medeus with Lightsphere. 19. Chapter 19, 5/107 Turns Wolf lolf's the first Merc with a Hand Axe. Draug + Jake kill the 2nd merc. Shiida and Jagen, who can survive a crit + hit from low-rolled KE!Hero, shield Marth who fullmoved north. Shiida blocks the LHS with a Silver Lance equipped to ORKO 2 Heroes on EP2, while Draug blocks the RHS with an Iron Sword equipped. The hero is fed to Jake. I just randomly rout those paths and end up not having a unit around to OHKO a throne room!mage on Turn 4, but Jake with Stonehoist and a savepoint was there so that saved the day. Shiida ORKOd Tiki with a 9*2 Silver Lance attack. As for treasures, I managed to get the Bullion XL with Peg!Athena on Turn 3, the Seraph Robe with Athena!Xane on Turn 5, which room was opened by Boah on Turn 3. Boah barely reaches the Sniper room door on Turn 5, so I can kill him with Jagen + Jake for his master seal. I now have 0 Master Key uses, but I deemed it more worthwhile getting the seraph robe over the C23!Bullion because I'm paranoid about my C21 strat (which still isn't the classic 4-turn by using a General) being executable. Chapter 20, 5/112 Turns Berserker!Wolf hammered the upper General, Caesar armorslayed the lower one. Jagen ORKOed the Ballista. Shiida pulled 2 Sword!Paladins with Starsphere and Wing Spear. Jagen Javelin chipped the third one and Shiida finished off. Draug soloed the Lance!Paladins as a General after they killed some Cavaliers. Shiida critted Camus on Turn 3 so as not to eat the counter and thus die to the General. Rigged from the same savepoint, Marth dodged the Pachyderm that would barely have OHKOed. Shiida counterkilled the General, ORKOed the Ballista and recruited Lorenz. Chapter 20x, 20 free turns of 112 barely managed to get all items and recruit ymir while staying within the no-penalty threshold. Jake grinded upon the lower choke, held by General!Draug. General!Wolf abused the upper part of the map. Shiida killed some random enemies too. killed lorenz and etzel off for generic loot. [spoiler=stats]Marth, 3.54, lol Shiida, 15.99, 44 HP / 15 Str / 25 Spd / 13 Def / 6 Res @ Paladin Draug, 11.18, 39 HP / 16 Str / 24 Spd / 10 Def / 3 Res @ HM Jagen, 9.67, 24 HP / 13 Str / 13 Spd / 13 Def / 4 Res @ DK Wolf, 16.02, 48 HP / 19 Str / 21 Spd / 17 Def / 1 Res @ Hero Caesar, 2.28, 35 HP / 12 Str / 21 Spd / 11 Def / 3 Res Jake, 18.29, 16 Str Ymir base Athena, Boah, Wrys lol
  20. wow, this is my first draft too j/k your TC is pretty okay considering you only drafted 1 earlygame unit! they mustnt't be used IIRC, much as though they were undrafted.
  21. it is very possible to do it on a cartridge. an emulator has a speed-up function that makes it more comfortable because it takes less time, but it's the most reasonable way and spends less time (because you don't have to bother to figure out a consistent strat which is complicated af) in the final effect. Rigging the c3 shiida crit on my emulator took about 5 minutes IIRC, so you shouldn't be sitting longer than... 1 hour to rig the jagen crit on a cartridge? yeah, fe11 draft!earlygame is obnoxious.
  22. I'm not familiar with cheating, but you can download a rom and hack an obtainable falco whip into it.
  23. heavily doubt it with no spotpass etc, on either hm and lm. fredstomping can probably work up to a point (C16?) with a chrom support and all boosters that you can get on hard mode. maps like 23 are way too fierce though. I can see a possibility in grinding a spotpass unit to 5 weapon breakers on another save while rigging 0% levels to be consistent with 0% growths and not using any statboosters and getting them per logbook + supreme emblem. king marth can kill grima iirc.
  24. Did you notice that my point "you can manipulate a steel sword crit using a savepoint and sack undrafted Units to keep Jagen at 100%" was referring to your post? it will help a lot. Anyway, Chapter 17x, 17 free turns/96 Training for Caesar, Draug and Wolf. [spoiler=stats] Marth, 3.54, lol Shiida, 11.01, 40 HP / 14 Str / 25 Spd / 12 Def / 6 Res Draug, 8.57, 37 HP / 16 Str / 24 Spd / 10 Def / 3 Res @ Horseman Jagen, 8.59, 25 HP / 12 Str / 12 Spd / 10 Def / 7 Res @ Paladin Wrys, 9.20, 19 HP / 3 Mag / 7 Spd / 3 Def / 10 Res Wolf, 13.00, 42 HP / 16 Str / 20 Spd / 14 Def / 1 Res @ Hero, enough axe rank for silver as an axe-mainer Caesar, 1.00, 34 HP / 12 Str / 20 Spd / 10 Def / 3 Res Boah, 3.79, lolGrowths Athena, 13.34, 28 HP / 11 Str / 10 Spd / 8 Def / 6 Res @ Peg Knight Jake, 11.46, 26 HP / 11 Str / 5 Spd / 15 Def / 0 Res Xane, lol Chapter 18, 6/102 Turns A 5-turn is very barely impossible, and I'm glad about that. Shiida kills the upper middle-group HM with Steel Lance. Midia distracts the other one by moving 2 spaces over the plain tile, so Shiida can rout the melee attackers without taking decisive horseman damage. On Turn 2, this is my positioning to shield Marth with Shiida and Draug, recorded after the enemy phase: I also had to kill the lower groups in the same turn by pulling a HM with Shiida, which did 17 dmg to her and she ORKOed back with Javelin. Jagen, Shiida!Xane, Shiida and Draug could kill one of them each, then Caesar ORKOed a horseman from the 2 man group, whereas the Javelin!Pally could be encircled by meatshields and units that will survive. I also bought 2 Mend staves on the map.
