  1. Sounds pretty good to me! I'll just have to see if I have enough money on my PS4 to afford it... hopefully the sale will last until Monday at least. xD Thanks! ^^
  2. Platforming parts aside, you just made me want to try Sakura Wars. xD I'm glad you're enjoying it so far! Oh, one tip! Next time you explore Eurulm, go back to the place where you found Liliana's handkerchief (behind the area where you fought Joe). There is a really useful Servan hidden there. I missed out on this on my first playthrough, so there were some obstacles I couldn't remove and thus I missed out on some extra stuff.
  3. Oh, sorry! True, it's missing the "n", which threw me off, not gonna lie. xD
  4. She can also take a hit for Aluche if she's close to death, which was very useful to me on Extreme difficulty. Her attack frequency is only really relevant for activating double chase, otherwise it doesn't really matter too much. They are both named after a figure in Welsh mythology.
  5. Just realized that today, I've been here for exactly six years now. ... Good lord!
  6. I like her a lot, too! She's also incredibly useful in battle. Her Shield of the Guardian can really make a difference, and her two offensive options have good AOE, too. The only problem with her is that she attacks rather slowly.
  7. The only thing I need to know about Assassin's Creed to say "nope, I'm not touching that" is that the company behind that franchise, Ubisoft, was fairly recently found to sexually abuse and harass its employees. That alone makes me not buy their games on sheer principle (on top of all their scummy business practices, like making the game grindy to sell "time savers", among others). That they would stereotype like this is honestly no surprise whatsoever. Scumbags be scumbags.
  8. Banned because how does that even happen?
  9. As for me, I don't watch TV or movies (heck, I don't even watch anime all too much; the last anime I've seen was the Neptunia one a few months back), and my games are almost all Japanese (except the odd racing game here and there), because I have blacklisted most Western developers and publishers (EA, Activision-Blizzard, Ubisoft, Naughtydog, Bethesda, et al.) for their scummy business practices (seriously, f*** MTX and lootboxes) and the way they treat their employees like shit (the second I hear something like this about any Japanese dev I tend to buy games from, I'm dropping them). Not to mention most Western games I just don't care about at all, specifically of the shooter variety. I just don't like these. So I guess you could say Japanese, since games are pretty much the only entertainment I have these days (except maybe writing), and the things I read, I read not for entertainment, but for study purposes (which is why I haven't done much, if any, reading in my free time in recent years).
  10. Banned because that hardly classifies as orbit speak, much less moon.
  11. Banned because the same is true for Linux. Due to so few people using it, there aren't a lot of viruses. No antivirus program also means that the system will be a lot faster, which is nice.
  12. Hot damn, my internet connection is slow as hell today. What gives? Tutturu, twilit and Sooks!
  13. Yup. Boss battles usually end the chapter and that's where the Moon resets. One rather efficient method to play the game is to reach the area where the boss is in a new level, exploring the level and opening all the warp gates and such, then do quests until the last day, and then beat the boss. From this, I reckon you have defeated Joe? Congrats! Rest well!
  14. Banned because Avast just became my favorite antivirus program. xD
  15. Nights of Azure 2's is a much better version, in my humble opinion. Yep. Once the azure moon (Gust did it first) vanishes, it's hello, Eternal Night! The "last day" is marked by when the moon is only a very, very small crescent. I think I have a screenshot lying around somewhere... Ah, yes I do! Taken specifically for this type of situation. Though Aluche will also say something, this here it what it looks like. This restriction is lifted in New Game Plus, leaving every day after this with this exact Moon Phase. This is why I was convinced most people would hate the game if they tried it. I personally don't mind one way or the other, but hey. --- With that, good day everyone! I slept for a bit, but now I'm awake again.
  16. Ah, THAT fight. My favorite introduction for my favorite antagonist in video games. Yeah, that one you're supposed to get curbstomped by. Don't worry!
  17. Okay, then you should be fine with just blocking if dodging doesn't work out for you. On Extreme difficulty, blocking didn't do a whole lot to mitigate oncoming damage, but on Easy, this shouldn't be too much of an issue. I did my first playthrough on Easy as well, because I was mainly interested in the story and characters before anything else.
  18. Which difficulty are you playing on, if I may ask?
  19. No problem at all! Always happy to help out! 👍 And any excuse to talk about one of my absolute favorite games. Yeah, the combat system can take some time getting used to, but I don't think it's hard to learn. It's basically Warriors, but deeper. Knowing when to block, when to dodge and when to attack is basically the most important thing. Luckily, most enemies will telegraph their stronger attacks with a sound effect or a wind up animation, so you shouldn't get caught off guard too much. Ah, yes! Absolutely beautiful! ^^ Nice, nice! Hope you enjoy! ^^
  20. Okay, wow. That's awful in that case. I'm pretty sure it goes Destroy (a part of) the shield -> stays destroyed (if fully destroyed, monster is stunned for that turn) -> shields fully regenerate for every monster and boss that uses this mechanic. Usually followed up by their AOE attacks. At least I'm fairly certain this is how it works. Someone correct me if it's not, please!
