If it's for whatever reason a character poll already, I don't see any way to judge exept by the exterior. Simple solutions would be to a) Have more rough terrain/ bring back ledges so horse riders can't move around so easy and b) for flying units, bring back Ballistas.

They've got other things to concentrate on right now, now doesn't seem to be the time for info about Fire Emblem. This modern JRPG, Xenoblade X, has higher priority atm since it releases next month, as far as I know.

X-Com is generally a tactic-shooter series. Likewise SMT is a JRPG series. (Edit: Missunderstood you at first.)

Seeing how bundle-happy Nintendo is with their handheld systems, I wouldn't be surprised if they released a special Super3DS for this new FE.

It's been know for years that they're working on a new console. NX is just the code-name btw (simmilar to dolphin and revolution), and not the final name.

Don't act like those CD-i games didn't do the world a favour by becoming the basis of countless youtube poops from 2006-2009, hehe.

I love me some Crossbows, but I think they should actually be useful this time around. Being effective against armored/flying units, relying on the user's strength (although I see that it wouldn't make too much sense)..

This trend of making people shut up by calling them homophobic or anything like that... tse. Now, as I said before, I don't care what people do in their private life, but it's not homophobic whatsoever to simply not want this in the game. I think it'd make anything too complicated for no reason and that they should keep it simple, only having straight romances, if any at all. That. Is. All. Again, quick reminder that Fire Emblem isn't a dating simulator and never should be one.
