  1. Eh, not one of my favourite supports. Too one-sided.
  2. Bleh, that was a pretty powerful role. You shall be avenged, Scorri! Also, we have a Silencer of some kind for one of our mafia roles.
  3. Yeah, just checked, my computer is not good enough for D3. I guess that makes the choice fairly simple...
  4. @Ein- Doesn't really answer my question. As for EO3, dungeon games are also not really my thing. I liked PMD, but only really because it was Pokemon. I might look into SMT3 another time, but right now I'm really between these two. Skyrim would be the PS3 version, so no mods. I've heard about Dragon's Dogma, but from what I've heard, it doesn't have a very good story, and I like the story to be as good as the gameplay. Two more things; how good a computer does D3 require? My computer is okay, but it doesn't have a graphics card (I make do with the in-built chip), so it can't really deal with anything too high-tech. And secondly, do either of them require knowledge of the previous games' story? I don't really like not being able to follow the story along.
  5. Well, my birthday's coming up in a few days, and as a present, I can choose either Diablo 3 or Skyrim. Which one should I opt for? D3 has multiplayer and I know several people who have it, so that's a plus. But I've heard a lot of good things about Skyrim too, and it's not as new as D3 is, so I can trust that less of it is just hype. I've never played any of the Diablo or Elder Scrolls games before, but I've seen my friend play Diablo (a long time ago) and seen another friend play Fallout 3, which I've been told is basically Elder Scrolls with guns. Based on that, Skyrim seems more my style of game, but I'm still not sure, as I've heard the Diablo games have changed significantly from how they were originally. So could people just kinda list the good and bad things about each game, and how they differ from each other?
  6. From what I've heard, no chapters have Seize as an objective. The objectives are all either Rout or Kill Boss.

    The Resistance IV

Out of curiosity, do you assign the spies randomly or pick them yourself?

    The Resistance IV

Ah well, it was a good game. Also, next game, we should just consider Rein as auto-spy.
  9. Also, I would think that Marth has played enough games by now to know that sometimes you've got to take one for the team.

    The Resistance IV

Rein + Kay, blah. I was this close to suggesting Elieson instead of Rein, but I thought that it would probably not pass, and if Rein was a spy, we would probably not get through 4.5 with him as the leader AND in possession of a Strong Leader card. So I decided to just pin my hopes on the team being Elieson+Kay instead.
  11. I may be behind now, but I have access to 31/40 of the special boss conversations! I shall catch up!
  12. But if you thought Paper was scummy, why listen to his idea about Kay FCing at all? You still haven't answered that integral question. If you thought that Paper was scummy, and he had just said he believed my claim, why not vote me? After all, he could very well have been scumbuddying.
  13. Old Marcus is clearly more manly. Sain/Gatrie x Cecilia, if anything like Saul x Cecilia, would be pretty funny.
  14. The way I see it, the class pulling your Sorcerer around is kind of like a Dancer. Integral, but useless by itself.
  15. Too fast too furious.
  16. But if the reason was just wanting to save yourself, and not Paper's thoughts, why did you cite him as a reason? If you thought he was one of the scummier players in the game, why even let his post be a secondary factor in your decision-making?
  17. You never responded to my questions. I'll repeat them again. Why did your very first post of Night 1 try to argue the merits of nolynching if you thought there would be a randomlynch? Why bother talking about how nolynching can be okay in certain situations? Why not just say straight away that you thought that someone would be randomlynched? Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but don't randomlynches pull from all surviving players, not just those tied with most votes? In that case, it would be even worse randomlynching.

    E3

Well, I'd meant to say, "if there are games other than FE13 that aren't leaving Japan that you want as well".
  19. So disappointed that the Kings didn't win. But Kings have been at 3-0 several times, missed the chance to sweep, and still won. They'll still come out ahead! And to make this post on topic, FE13 yay.
  20. Demon Fighter doesn't have Lances, it has Swords/Axes/Tomes. If Master Knight has 4 weapons, Tome/Sword/Bow/Staff?

Well, if there are games other than FE13 that aren't leaving Japan, go ahead, but that twitter feed is from one of the executives of IGN. That's a pretty reliable source.
  22. It was more like the President didn't realize that they hadn't already talked about it, and so mentioned it casually. In any case, I'm just stoked they're bringing it over; I don't really care about how it's happening.
  23. I'm not saying namekilling is a good idea, just that it happens quite often. And yeah, the idea that any protective roles might be on the claimed power roles is a reason to not attack them, but whatever the reasoning might be, the result is that the claimed power role doesn't die.
  24. @Scorri- This is the post I'm talking about. And this was his very first post after people started harping on him for switching his vote at the very last second. Why not say right away, "Sorry, I thought it was a randomlynch"? Why start talking about how nolynches can be beneficial? Doesn't make sense. @Elieson- I thought of DayVig. The problem with DayVig is how the mafia almost invariably operates on this forum, in like 4 or 5 games that I've read now. Instead of first killing claimed power roles, they roleblock or hinder them in some way, and then kill the big name players like Bizz first. Look at SFMM2. It was obvious from Day 1 that Psych had some sort of info/power role, and IIRC he claimed properly on either Day 2 or Day 3. They didn't kill him until Night 4, choosing to go for Prims, Bizz, and Raymond first. Look at that mini-mafia where you got randomlynched. Manix claimed Watcher, and then Rolecop, but he was never killed. The mafia chose to roleblock him the whole game instead. What if I'd claimed DayVig, and the mafia chose to kill someone like Bizz N1 instead? The town might have asked me to kill someone D2 for proof, which I wouldn't have been able to do, and then there would be a lot of suspicion on me. The mafia at that point would probably leave me alone in the hopes that the town would mislynch me.
