True enough, some midgame bosses might take a turn more if Rutger waits a couple more chapters for his promotion. As for killing Henning- IIRC, Rutger can still double him without promotion. If he can't, even one critical should still bring him down to low enough health for other people to finish him off. Worst comes to worst, take one more turn.

Because he's still better than all your other Hero Crest users. Other than Rutger, the only ones that come close are Fir and Gonzales, both of whom can wait until Chapter 16 anyways. Besides, Rutger is barely going to be level 10 by the time you get that Chapter 7 Hero Crest (if that), and if he is, there's no harm in letting him gain more levels. I don't normally use that first Hero Crest until around Chapter 9 or 10 no matter whom I promote first in any case.

As stated, Dieck begins slowing down around midgame. Doesn't it make more sense to give him the Hero Crest earlier to prolong his usefulness? Rutger is going to be wrecking shit lategame even if he has to wait until Chapter 12, or 11 if you take the B route.

More people play for fun than for LTC. And when you're playing for fun, Lakche is possibly your best non-Holy weapon user. Personally, I don't get this thing people have with FE4 where characters without a mount automatically suck. Yeah, a mount is obviously preferable to no mount. But A rank Tactics in FE4 is 400 turns, not 250. If mounted characters or characters with Warp/Return/Rescue can help you get to 250 turns, good for them. But, at least, for me, that's not the goal in most of my playthroughs. So Lex!Lakche with her amazing offence, decent defence, and good swords gets an 8/10.

I decided to use Charmander. Also, I mixed up games, and thouht that I was getting Lapras before the E4. No, I'm getting him after. So Charmander, Spearow, Snorlax, and Magnemite shall carry me to victory!!!!!!! Boss Battle #1: ???- In which Faust fights ??? I name my character Faust, and name my Charmander !!!!!!!!!!. My Rival is named ???, because, Faust, like Professor Oak, is going senile, and can't remember names. I actually have to use my Potion, because Squirtle gets a critical hit... but I win in the end. Dungeon #1: Viridian Forest- In which !!!!!!!!!! OHKOs every single pokemon in the dungeon except that one Pikachu he leaves with 2 health. Easy. Charmander learns Metal Claw midway through. Boss Battle #2: Brock- In which Faust learns a lesson n humility. I lose the first time around because Onix gets a critical hit with Rock Tomb. And since I hadn't saved before, I take the loss and give up the 120$ like a man. The second time around, I win, but need the use of another Potion. And !!!!!!!!!! evolves afterwards.

His growths are a bit lacking, but his bases are pretty good, and since he can actually dodge things, he's probably your most durable non-Marcus unit early-game. Plus, he helps give Rutger 100% crit. :O 8.5/10 + 1 bias because he can take hits to the chest WITHOUT EVEN WEARING A SHIRT.

5. Isn't it funny how the first chapter you can kick units off, you get Saul, a unit that is virtually the same, class-wise, but with better stats? I don't think Ellen's couple chapters of utility can net her a higher score than that. Even in FE6, 3 healers are not necessary, and you get 2 better ones by Chapter 6.

Keep in mind that for every person isolated by religion, there's also a person who feels accepted because of it. One of my sister's really good friends was going through a hard time in her life, and all of her friends except my sister deserted her. She almost committed suicide, but found her salvation in religion, and is now in a much better place.
