  1. Making transforming style mamkutes probably, but dragon stones with stat bonuses like modern games probably wouldn't be as hard.
  2. Oh wow I didn't realize the flags meant something. I thought the number was just random. Also ended up being a little disappointed healing in training wasn't separate from fighting in training, which I learned when I promoted Eiry. It basically means most magical units are much more valuable healing after promotion rather than fighting. :/ Was nice that the supplier could heal. Too bad we didn't have 1 or 2 more chapters in the demo, I was excited to see him promote, but he only got to like 15 or 16, I forget.
  3. Awakening was released in February I think, and so was Shadow Dragon, so following history, it doesn't seem likely to get a holiday release. :/
  4. Uther has a line where it sounds like he gets less drunk but it doesn't do anything. First time I played I actually figured he'd be cured next turn after that popped up. :/ Also god those Witches in 7x are so bullshit with Slow. And I may have thought Richard was a woman until later in the game when he started appearing a lot more.
  5. Knights are good in the games where you actually have a purpose in playing more defensive. FE4, 5, 7, 10, and 14 are really the only games I'd even think about using knights, and out of those, 4 you only use knights because everyone can be used but they'd never reach the battle anyway. 5 Dalsin is actually quite good and can be a decent person to capture with and the only indoor lance user besides Xavier god fuck him. 7 has plenty of maps with chokepoints and Oswin is okay but doesn't really stand out and Wallace is bad and Hector is basically an Axe Armor. 10 I actually consistently use Meg but that's because I like her over her actually being good. Most 10 maps you can end very quickly if you're aggressive so knights aren't super helpful for holding chokepoints besides in a few defend chapters or something. Awakening finally gives knights some purpose with Pair Up and protecting squishier units, but Dual Guards block the attack 100% anyway so it's not like they have some benefit over other tankier classes like Wyverns or Great Knights. And now Fates where I think is the first time in the series using knights is not only encouraged but you actually have a good knight in Elfie so I'm pretty excited about it too.

  7. It's not like FE3 had better balancing. you know, i never thought about that actually but it makes sense that you'd only use the people who were re-added if you liked them especially
  8. It was a dark and stormy night when she walked into my office. Legs up to hear and the rest of her was a fruit but that Mizz Tangerine knew how to work it and I just couldn't say know. The smoke-filled office seemed pretty small that night, but I knew I could be talked into anything and decided to pick up the case. Like our hacking section for one thing.
  9. Marrying the homosexual options has both kids appear. I believe is says you "adopted" them though.
  10. There's Rebecca -> Wolt and Canas -> Hugh but Canas is stated to already be married. Plus I could seem them adding in children characters like someone related to Dorcas and his wife and possibly a child for Priscilla or maybe making Wendy Serra's daughter.
  11. Eh i'm still gonna buy it. I was worried Hoshido was holding your hand, here's a million dollars and a bunch of jeigans mode while Nohr was NO ITEMS EVER and no money or anything. So I figured IK was going to be a good balance and let me have items and grinding without trivializing the route. Plus hey I usually turtle so longer maps don't really bother me.

    Doesn't Kishauna only move in Hector Mode? I know he doesn't move sometimes but I don't know if it's on hard or on hector mode.
  13. You could simply have a 2nd gen meta only include 2nd gen children or Spotpass people.
  14. Worst is Renault. Nino can at least be fed kills at the point where she comes in and be made useful. Everything about Renault you wish he did better. His stats, his healing, his damage. Honestly I'd say Lucius is probably the best. I never feel I'm lacking anything with him. Dark Magic is pretty prevalent so he gets good WTA more often then not but you likely wouldn't have him fight mages anyway. He hardly has problems doubling unlike others with Thunder or certain Dark tomes for Canas who can get speed screwed sometimes. Plus he starts out with C staves which means much less grinding for useful staves and instant Mend access. Pent is good but if you train 2 mages and a healer like I usually do he can feel redundant at times. Lucius is always a good choice though.
  15. I'd just leave them with what they were currently equipped with. What did people think of my 2 actions per turn idea? It allows healing to be viable since you wouldn't sacrifice a turn for combat but if you chose to spend both actions fighting then it might be too big of a downfall for the second player. Presumably each PC would only be allowed one action per turn unless we wanted to bring dancers into the mix but they'd likely only be relevant in an 4 and 13 meta. Then you could let the same person attack twice but they'd have to have a dancer on their team.
  16. well you'd really only have Claude Sety or Claude use it, considering Claude Corple has like no other combat abilities besides healing and status staves I think allowing status staves in certain games could work, considering we allow Deadeye in FE9 and Silence doesn't seem too bad. Berserk at most could probably just have that unit act on their own phase after both players and then RNG them a target to attack. It could be a problem if it lasts too long though. I'm not sure how we could make healing good enough to be willing to take a turn. Though giving two commands per turn could work because then you could either attack with two units or attack and heal and that would give people enough choice. You might end up with people getting one rounded if you're not careful though.
  17. I thought I saw something about how you can dress up your units in My Castle with different clothing that gives different bonuses. Maybe this is actually useful when you fight My Castle opponents with that then?
  18. You "adopt" the kids if you do Mamui/Femui and Zero/Sylla right? I thought I heard partnering with Zero gave both kids, so that's one way to solve that.
  19. I'll probably go for Zero or play a female. None of the females really stood out to me wanting to marry them besides maybe Aqua but I'm not sure if she's able to be married to others or not. There's also not really any combos standing out to me I'd like, since I was a big fan of marrying Aversa in Awakening for Shadow Gift Morgan.
  20. FE4 and 5 have a lot more interesting tools and mechanics and things than FE3. Unfortunately the only one who is actively doing more than just messing around with them is Lamia. Most information on SNES games is from the Japanese fans.
