  1. Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (HD). Strangelove torture sessions. A game should not require you to skin your thumbs and nearly kill your controller to progress. That is all.
  2. ...As long is it can run at 30FPS on the normal 3ds (Nintendo helping to optimize it or something?) and it's a fun hack-and-slash, count me in. Such a shame that one guy accidentally clicking "unlisted" instead of "private" leaked such a surprise.
  3. Nope. Yet everything we know makes it likely. Anyways,... who else dislikes how Nohr has several sociopathic soldiers (Charlotte, Pieri, Zero)? Hope this means Hoshido gets itself a couple of white-kinght crusader types to counterbalance, but highly unlikely.
  4. ...I thought Wampa. Guess it's close enough.
  5. You know about the blood lust part, right? It really seems to be a theme with the Nohrian characters; their personality differs from what you'd think judging by their appearance. It's a pervading theme, almost: don't judge a book by its cover. Which makes me really think about Garon and Mikoto.
  6. Why? The 3DS can handle Monster Hunter 4G/Ultimate online with 4 players + big monster + environment. It could easily handle the less intensive 1v1, top-down gameplay with some simplistic battle sequences of Fire Emblem.
  7. I don't need to leave them like that permanently; just a few "mistakes" when I'm okay with resetting will be enough. Anyway, I never did put my two gold in on Pieri. I'm... not sure what to think of her? Her design just has too much clashing, with multiple hair colors + armor +bonnet... it just doesn't blend well.
  8. Exactly. Which is why I currently have three Uriah gambits planned out.
  9. The return of Auffle, Lucer, and Wymp? Oh yeeeaaaah. This is going to be good ;)
  10. This actual sounds interesting: weaker, generic, expendable units that you can throw out to fill extra deployment spots and use as cannon fodder. I like it.
  11. Remember Dinotopia: breathe deep, seek peace, breathe deep, seek peace, breath deep, seek peace, breath deep...
  12. Hopefully one of those is multi-route. Every one of the multi-route characters not named Suzukaze is of Nohrian origin.
  13. It just feels like a lazy way to inflate the character roster via clones-... . This isn't Smash Bros.
  14. What I don't get is why the Awakening pandering in the version that is specifically being marketed towards veterans? If these were Hoshido unit's, that's one thing, but since it's Nohr that's got clones of Awakening characters... I digress. Hopefully just these three. Hopefully only three Uriah Gambits.
  15. I bet $10 they do. (Well, I can't, but you know what I mean...)
  16. So, blue haired cav girl looks nice. But... ...oh Naga... ...there's no denying it. EDIT: What can I say? xD
  17. Darn it. The details on the prison are too small to make it out much of anything, even if you try to blow it up. Per usual, keeping tab open for the leaks.
  18. It works on everything. Just check the official box art.
  19. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Robin's class also strategist in Japan? Thus, resulting in the initial confusion with the Valkyrie replacement?
  20. Wasn't their a level 40 Felecia in the My Castle presentation? Implications.
  21. Here's something I just noticed: all the Nohr siblings have the advantage against Hoshido in the new weapon triangle Marx, a paladin with lances, beats Ryouma the Trueblade. Camilla, with axes, beats Hinoka. And Leon's and Elise's* magic beat Takumi's and Sakura's* bows. *When promoted
  22. I'd love to hear a person's honest opinion on that movie someday that isn't just them ranting about the US intervention in the Middle East. I wouldn't, either. Yet at the same time, would you deny that radical Muslims are causing death, chaos, and destruction in the Middle East, including the physical persecution of minorities? And the US isn't a Christian country anymore. "Christianity", in that context, is just American civil religion; nothing more. Religion can be used as a tool for violence and personal gain just as any other agenda. We've got the radical Muslims in the Middle East today, as well as the corruption of the Roman Catholic Church during the middle ages and the crusades that stemmed from it. And then at the same time there was the Nazi's and the USSR; religiousless regimes that claimed more lives than any others. Perfect example of political agendas; selectively distort what you can to help yours along. But anyway, I've gotten waaay off-topic. Sorry about that. I'm not against a couple of homo- or bi-sexual characters. I'd just think that it would end up being their main schtick. And then there's the other end of board, going Skyrim/Dragon Age with "everybody's bi!" So, add me into the boat that would be fine with a few LGBT characters, provided they're well written. Have you kept up with the thread? As long as they're well written, and their sexuality isn't their defining trait, most are in agreement.
  23. Interesting theory. However, we already known Nohr is experiencing a drought. And just recently, on a re-play of Awakening, I discovered this quote: Paralogue 3, Frederick: "They say they treasure peace, yet the peace found from behind barricades is no peace I would want." Since Hoshido is based off of fuedal Japan, I'm holding my breath for something like this.
