  1. http://serenesforest.net/wp-content/gallery/april-2015-nintendo-direct/nohr5.jpg Level 11. Yeeeaaah....
  2. You know the first screenshot that we ever saw of Kamui's stat screen? 18 strength. Shame they're going that way again.
  3. Just read the report. So, Oboro is 100% confirmed to be female!
  4. Do not like fanservice (though Rinca's design isn't the most practical), but since she's a muscular female, Rinca wins. With points deducted for overused dark-skinned blond design. So, not trying to sound greedy, but are those two page all we can expect from this week? The previous one had four pages.
  5. Ah. Thanks for catching that. Still heavily skewed towards Hoshido.
  6. So, Hoshido is truly the land of androgyny. Unsurprisingly. Now just to wait and see if they bring back S-supports *shivers*. And on a side note,... what's with the utter lack of Nohr units we've seen so far? Nyx and Gaston Harold are the only two exclusives we've seen. Everybody else is either both sides or Hoshido exclusive. EDIT: I really hope this isn't the case. Nothing stopped, oh, every single Fire Emblem Game before Awakening from having a varied cast of units. If they actually pull this, than it's a load of bull.
  7. Attack Stance and Guard Stance are basically pair-up split up. Attack Stance is triggered when two units are side by side; the unit who did not initiate the attack will attack with them, but have a damage cut (looks to be 50%). Note that this is triggered 100% of the time. Guard Stance is basically just pair up minus dual strike. There's some confusion about dual guard and whether it triggers 100% of the time; what we do know is that there's a gauge tied to dual guard, which presumably limits how many times it can be used per map.
  8. Nohr boxart. http://serenesforest.net/wp-content/gallery/april-2015-nintendo-direct/nohr0.jpg
  9. I'll do male first in Nohr and then Female in Hoshido, going back to male for the 3rd path. Any subsequent re-plays will be either Suzaku or Lelouch themed, depending on the side.
  10. Are you going with Nohr? If so, then yes. Hoshido, however... .
  11. Pretty much that. I was under the impression the MU would just be a passing fad. Half of me doesn't want an FE4 remake now, the other half wants to see them try and cram an MU into it. Having an MU instead of a main lord just seems like a way to cheap out of writing an actual main character. I'm okay with a bit of it, but if every single game from now on MUST have it, then... .
  12. ...Am I the only one who's worried now that they've said that the MU is "a staple of the series"?
  13. Takumi's been stated to be naturally suspicious of people; knowing that, I honestly don't believe that he is a reflection of most in Hoshido. I literally have not thought of this before, but as soon as I read this I started sharing in your paronia. Anyway, my fears? Map design, big time. I honestly don't "fear" about the choices, because I always interpreted the "choices" as just being "Hoshido or Nohr", so I'll be pleasantly surprised if there are any more that actually have some real effect. And add me into the boatload that's saying S-supports.
  14. Her face does look strangely distant, not quite cold... just unemotional? IDK. And I agree with everybody about the boob armor.
  15. They specifically stated they added the stat buffs/debuffs to weapons mantain the choice of selecting which weapon is right for the job. Though I'd prefer to have both, it's an acceptable trade-off, IMO. Anyway, the parallel seal sounds nice. The confusion over pre-promotes, potential return of 3rd tiers, etc that resulted from seeing it... not so much. And since Tusbaki's male, I'm going with Oboro being female.
  16. I'm not denying that (you can fit so much more in a foot-long brick than in something the size of a paperback); what I AM saying is that the only limitation I see for that is memory, which itself isn't a major issue. Developers are offered up to 8 gigabyte 3DS cartridges; nobody has used more than 4, however. Dynamic-marriages and so on wouldn't really require any processing or anything; just a lot more memory. And considering that Awakening was all of 1.05 gigabytes, I'd say it would be quite feasible to do (or course, not now, this far in development on three different scenarios).
  17. I kinda hope not. There's no where on the status screen for another icon to fit (unless we're discussing the book icon, which I hope think is just a short-cut for tutorials). Damn right! Finally somebody lays it out as it is. If virtually any other fire emblem game had casual mode and had been advertised, it would have met with similiar success. Please tell me you're joking. Or are you one of those people who seriously discusses 3DS cartridge limitations?
  18. Considering the theme Nohr seems to possess, I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest.
  19. Looking at the pic beside Gunther: so Kamui was asleep... in full armor?
  20. I just noticed that Felicia has a heart symbol on her, not unlike Elise. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't some of the mounted enemies shown in the first trailer have markings that looked alot like spades? And then there's Joker. Is FEif going with a card game motif, at least for nohr?
  21. One could assume that Joker and Felicia are Kamui's personal servants, and that Gunther is their body guard. So, from that perspective, they're not aligned with Nohr; they're sworn to serve and protect Master Kamui.
  22. I actually got Destructoid to change it yesterday (whatever that's worth). Anyway, impressions: The lack of unique weapon icons is quite the bumber. Why would they cut them? Kamui's lack of dragonstones is definitely intriguing. I find it interesting that Joker and Felicia are on the Hoshido box art, while Gunther is on Nohr's. Odd that it would be uneven. Suzukaze is definitely giving me Volke vibes. I find it kinda funny that the scan containing the Nohr sibling's artwork has a shadow falling over the lower-right corner... which is right where Garon is portrayed, reaching out. Was anything new said about Cipher-0 in that little section?
  23. Frederick was, actually. Unless you're doing the Jeigan/Oifaye differentiation, which in that case resaults in you assuming that Gunther will be a pure Jeigan. But anyway, back on topic. The new weapon triangle now means that cavaliers can effectively engage archers and mages (and I'm perfectly fine with that). Overall, I like it.
  24. Seems a bit nitpicky, though ultimately have we seen a lot of Kamui, period? I'd say Male Kamui has the lead by about two stat screens; really, not a whole lot. And with the massive popularity of Female Robin (especially among the Smash Bros. fanbase), I'm okay with this.
