  1. Hardly, that's not all there battle wear as in the battle sprites, they have a 'chest plate shield' covering from neck to almost the floor. (Sadly I didn't put enough time to find a resource) From my point of view, yeah, I think you can argue this, but in my opinion, she's wearing no thin pants like you say. The lighting of the candles can make it seems like a darker skin tone and why her face is lit up. Upon looking at Image 34, her skin tone seems to be almost identical to the skin tone on her face on the above picture, comparing her behind in 7,4 to the ones where she's striped down, I don't see a difference.
  2. Well, I don't see why you're not picking on Meg. Nor you fail to realize that Bors and Barth have the EXACT same armor placement in FE6 as Wendy. Maybe you should link some proof and we can make judgment ourselves?
  3. Well, if you're just going to say pants, then that's, say, a little weak, but if you say characters not wearing enough armor or clothing then you can see that Fates and Awakening loved to do that and when really, there was no point. Though you can argue that some characters and there rolls really needed pants or something. The Fem Dark Knight in Awk, why would you just wear a thong into battle? You're not just a mage, you have a sword, prepare for close combat. That's the sort of example I'm giving for characters that need to suit there roll and classes. Cherche example is that she's waiting to be Back Slashed and female Knights in Fates are definitely asking an arrow to the knee. Ever heard of the Ten Chivalry, "Thou must defend you values" Obviously they don't care about there legs... "Thou shalt be generous and giving to ones self" Do you think Fire Emblem even knows this properly?
  4. What if they went back to the GBA battle era, but instead of sprites Kozaki made detailed anime images for fighting instead? I think that be cool, and slick but then I think he'd make a lot... of jiggling.
  5. Hey, I didn't say anything. But that said, it's clear as glass. I mean, there's more to idols when you see a lot of magical color, anime tropes, the costumes and blah blah and NO MORALS. But more SMT than FE, really, there's no FE at all. Taking away the serious-ness thought of SMTxFE we had. But it's like what FE was born to do since Awk's success. Fanservice sold FE, now it's highly fanservicey in FE14 and SMTxFE to anime Otaku's. And comparing SpaceC5 to SMTxFE's anime tropes makes it hardly panderous. But that's your view on Space Channel. Guess you're right. And I do believe it is a good age, or it can be. But it doesn't change what it sells for. *Hesitating to post for derailing*
  6. After conducting research, I wanna hit some people in the face through the internet. Though I still don't get why IS is letting Atlus make a Otaku panderous game anyway, like what IS is doing with theirs.
  7. Yeaaahh... But isn't Luck supposed to decrease opponents Crit chance? Or something?
  8. I can't help agree a bit with gayserbeam and Neofranky. Though, if this was an actual plan, it would be much more moralizing. But I think the children could get in the way of this. Though, I thought the entire point of the Marriage system was because the fanservice that IS is leading this game into. And another two cents: I think that would ease the crack between fandoms a little. It's not so panderous as it's actually realistic somewhat.
  9. But it's not supposed to be charged fully in teh first place. In competitive, charging was always a use to build the punishment. Example: You Prefect Guard Ike's 1st Down Smash strike, you then have a good load of frames to charge up a Smash for damage and punishment, supplying pressure on your opponent. Charging is always great for B8'ing. Charging a Side Smash while you opponent is trying to recover, opponent decided to Air Dodge or Counter right next to you thinking you'd miss, and then retaliate with a punish... But your still charging... I mean, who doesn't do this? It adds options and smart play. Some people use it to pass time until the opening they're waiting reveals. If you couldn't charge, then what would Megaman's Side Smash be like.
  10. http://www.quora.com/Who-are-the-most-notable-Mary-Sue-characters-in-books-and-literature Does this answer your quetsion? Bloody Gary's and Mary's. But isn't the point of Kamui or the MU is to be perfect? I mean, the game doesn't actually do a survey and make a character's personality based off you, nor give you dramatic story changes and choices. You're playing a character with short details and simple goals and no serious deep development, let lone the Avi Mu's are capable of romancing anyone they please and become anything they please. It's "My Unit", but I'm limited because it's actually it's own character. Seriously, I'm leaned towards "yes". But because you kinda have to be one since their isn't an option not to be. FE doesn't have a lot of depth when it comes to stories and has the same development repeated over. Land and kingdom conquered, fight back and gt stronger while building a small army, get MC promoted or a special new weapon.
  11. *Luma I think she's freggin great in the air. But too great, a little. Fast up and down airs that are hard to read or get a grasp on when your opponent is inside you. So you're basically stuck. At least Cap. Falcon D-Air has wind-up, but Samus has even more wind-up.
  12. Many times as Samus, I'd have a Charge Beam ready and Rosaluma would charge a smash attack. I'd be jut in range of either of there attacks, but I shot my charge beam and it hit Luma, then Rosa finished me from there. Real noob mistake.
  13. Uhhh... Poll? J-just throwing this out there...
  14. I think I'll just... bring this down a notch. More innocent... *Ahem* ... YOU LITTLE MOTHER FR- Lol I joke. But seriously, everyone is entitled to use what they want. If ZeRo looked at our choices of characters, then he'd probably say that it's up to us to choose whatever character we want as long as you're benefitting something our of them when used weather competitively or other reasons, even say that we have a lot of options for situations if you know how to counter them. But I bet he just seriously wouldn't care. I mean, this isn't Melee where everyone must know to play, Marth, Fox and etc.
  15. Fair enough. I also agree with your words (God you're good at this). I'm just overwhelmed by the amount of skills that are bent on doing 4 and 5 damage, +10 something and -10 something, 20% hp loss at the end of battle. I look this thinking the re-classing, grinding and skills make the game. The strategy is there, but it's not as depth as it used to be. Though the mechanics I think are more complex this installment, and it's true, to pull of "this" is pretty situational. But in the long run, a single critical leading to 70 - 80 dmg ohko anyway or one solid hit, Snake Venom activates and follows up an easy kill for another unit. Now I get that's a strategy, but it's skill based, that it doesn't really matter on the unit.
  16. Why are Chrom, Lissa, Freddy and Thraja all falling from the sky while Lucina decides to be hipster? My guess, It just to make it look cool, I mean, I think it's cool, with the wyvens (I thought they were birds) and the light and dark. It just gives that Final Fantasy feeling. Unless this is an actual location somewhere in either of the 3 paths...
  17. I'm honest as f***. Unlike other ungr8fuls out there who state there opinions and you know, I give people the benefit of the doubt cause on the internet I probably could be proven wrong, unlike the others thinking they're top s***. But, they weren't intentionally lies. They were my views on what's going on at this moment inside Intelligent Systems, and it's my opinion, so neither I'm wrong or right. I could argue that they're chasing the money though; Face-touching, the future children, fanservice out the wazoo, and the marriage system with some same-sex options. Even Pheonix Mode. You can see, it just goes to far. But after they sold over 1million with Awakening, thought they hit the jack-pot... No they actually did. And decided to stray completely from what FE originally was and literally turned it on it's head. After the first thousands of dollars they pulled in on through advertisements with Awakening (which seems to be something they never thought of for the franchise till now), people gained whispers of the Marriage system and fanservice. More sales for Awakening over the past year stacks by newer players for the franchise and the otaku fanbase I believe that made IS make Awakening 2.0... and Conquest... Cause it works and this new fanbase will follow that. Maybe that's what IS thought everyone wanted (Still don't understand face touching though). Now the game probably does have amazing mechanics, but that's just a tip of the iceberg compared to what everyone was apparently waiting for in this new installment. So much, My Castle and Amie got it's own video. There's like, no talk about the core game itself compared to the pandering talk. Now I didn't say I hate this game, but you can tell I don't like some of the content and where IS leaned this towards. I betchu if I bought this game, I'd probably have a great time, with a new Fire Emblem game finally. So I have nothing personally against IS (I did say 'I bet' threw accusations around). I loved them from Super Metroid to Advanced Wars Dual Strike (I never played DoR). Even liked Awakening to an extent. But I'm so concerned that they're not making the games for the "Fun" that I mentioned. For the sole purpose of getting into career in the first place. I mean was that not what they were doing since FE6 to 12? If they read this, I'd probably or most definitely hurt their feelings. But that's cause I care. I mean, looking at their past games they made recently. Paper Mario, yeah, I thought it was bad compared to the previous. Advanced Wars (Sorry, now this was a lie. It wasn't intentional, but I just didn't do my research) is just missing, but IS decides to make STEAM instead? And IS made one of the best Metroid games imo. Though, 5 last years and think, what would happen if IS stepped up. Around when I was born, they were making amazing games. And now I think somethings wrong. I would like to know everything behind those walls and productions, but I can't. I would like more interviews on their decision making in the gaming industry, but I don't know where to look. tl;dr: Well, you asked why, so you should probably read it. Honestly, I couldn't care if you read it or not. Or what you think for this matter. I just can't believe I wrote this for an hour or so, up late. SORRY FOR DERAILING THE TOPIC AGAIN.
  18. This is why I have a heard time believing that this and Awakening is at all, strategy. I haven't played the game, so anything you say, I'll take your word for it. It's extremely emphasized on RPG in my view tho.
  19. I guess, I've never saw it like that. Then again, if I needed to calm down, re-leave myself or take a break. I could just stop playing and play another game. I play Smash and eat to give my eyes a general rest when I get need to breath.
  20. Or we just have more options maybe for adapting to the game. Call of Duty gives us many 'loadouts' for necessary tactics changing. (That's what I believed it was used for) Weather their different game or not, that doesn't stop us from a play we like or choosing what we want we need. In the end, it doesn't even matter.
  21. Yet you hear, "We love doing our job." from so many people in the industry. Iwata said he did. Sakurai says he does. They just know the job is tough to deliver. IS just follow the money. I bet they don't care about Fire Emblem. Or just absolutely don't want to do Fire Emblem anymore so they'll force it to crumble on itself. And I say this cause I'm losing faith in them. To think about face rubbing over the main game that it got it's own video? They made Super Metroid, Advanced Wars, Paper Mario, but... They stopped making Metroid games that were good, they stopped Advanced Wars cause I heard it was apparently stealing FE's thunder, and Paper Mario is, I admit, really bad recently. If Fanservice sold so well, then why didn't they remake FE4 or reintroduce the mechanic ages ago? I'm sorry for sounding darude, arrogant or ignorant in anyway, but you just don't say "it's just business at the end of the day." It really makes me think the career that everyone worked for is really not even worth to consider any good, that they don't consider the work for them.
