Hello all~ Technically not "new" but it came out 4 years after Shadow Dragon's release :P Recently while looking up stuff about the artist for Shadow Dragon, Masamune Shirow, I found an artbook he released 5 years ago that featured some artwork he did for Shadow Dragon. I know the game's known for only having like 8 or so characters getting full artwork, but there are lots of interesting old designs, sketches, etc. NOTE: I do not own this book, these are either preview images or screenshots from a flip through video The full video can be found here. I'm pretty sure the book is still available at Dark horse (and in English!) There's a lot of text in with the images so it'd be interesting to learn more about it. Anyways, just thought it'd be interesting to share!

I want to make a Whitewings team (Est, Palla, Catria and Minerva) or a Macedon royals team (Maria, Minerva and Michalis) Sadly I've gotten none of them so it's probably just gonna be a forever dream team

You're definitely going to want to get a drawing tablet if you want to draw digitally. There are some pretty reasonably priced ones from wacom and monoprice. (50-70ish dollars for their cheapest ones I believe) I found mine (wacom small pen and touch) at staples, but you can get them from Amazon and Wacom directly. Just remember that if you go for the cheaper ones (basically below 500$), you're not going to be able to see what you're drawing on the pad. Medibang paint pro is pretty good for being a free program, I used to use the old version of it (Fire alpaca) and it's a good starting program for digital art.

Smash wise, Roy stands out among the sea of blue hair. His animations are also much more interesting/flashy than Marth's with the fire effects.

Hehe, I'd love to do some early gaiden art, but the designs are so inconsistent and dated I don't think I can do it XD Thank you! I think cel shading art is amazing too, I just can't make myself do all those individual lines and shade just so, to make it look as nice as everyone makes it look :p Plus, I like being able to just repaint sections instead of relining, and re shading/coloring xP. Anyway, here's some original pic I've been working on for a while, Anyways, I should probably put some scribbles or doodles here to keep it alive longer haha~

For me, it might be because my phone is a lot older (It did this during Pokemon Go too). Unfortunately, I have had to skip through pretty much all dialogue and story scenes because I don't want it to crash without it registering I finished the map :|

(ios) Mine crashes a lot, mostly when battles are innitiated or when they level up. Something that (kind of) helps, is turning off animations. It doesn't fix it, but it helps you get further than you would otherwise (bless bookmark data :D)

Cute! Reminds me of your Frederick/Robin picture from a while back :P The only part that looks a little odd to me are Ike's legs/bottom half. His left leg is a bit too high and short (kinda missing his crotch area). If it helps, flipping the canvas can help find anatomy errors/if it looks off balance.

I'm pretty sure Sachiko Wada did Marth (The cape alone has her style all over it)

If you're using the specfic items for class (ie. guiding ring, elysian whip) I always thought they would just put on the ring or use the whip on the mount or sign a fell contract. If you mean like what actually happends during promotion, I got nothing xP

(kind of unfixed it by playing with privacy settings ;o; will fix over weekend~) I sometimes find myself liking the facless style more :P Maybe its just the simplicty of it? I dunno ;p Thank you :D I know, I'd love to see their interactions expanded upon, besides some New mystery of the emblem backstory with Michalis and Minerva I'd like to see their interactions expanded upon. Sadly I don't think we'll be seeing a remake or anything like that anytime soon of these games. Anyways~ I needed to finish something so I did a quick portrait of Farina (with a process gif!) IT is missing a couple last retouching steps :P Basically I make a finalized sketch, add colors, blend it with the sketch and paint over that~

I think it's perfect for this game. I hope we can get some cipher art from Hidari (if there isn't some already).

There's actually a lot of free art programs out there that are pretty good! Medibang paint- Good free software that you can also get on your ipad/phone too! The layout is kind of eh for me, and customizing brushes is a bit hard, but if you're not at a computer a lot/have your phone or tablet with you more often, this could be good to look into~ https://medibangpaint.com/en/ Krita- It's kind of photoshop-esq layout wise, but it has a lot of brushes if you like those~ I haven't gotten to do much with it yet, but it has a lot of features like filters and stuff. https://krita.org/en/ Those would be my 2 go to's, but there's some other free ones like My paint, paint.net, and this page with some cheap and free ones listed (don't know much about them though but I have friends that used them :P) (My post might've gotten messed up earlier sorry)
