I actually enjoyed reading Bal's example with Tessa and Arrin (+Kelas) It's a prime example of natural flow vs Bulk dumping of information. Snike, despite being new, may have a point there, a character shouldn't be achieving several supports in the course of one chapter, (developing sure, no problem) An obvious note to make here is that supports don't carry over, (AKA: I didn't have a support in chapter 1~3 so I can have 4 supports in this chapter right? Wrong! <_<) Technically, Isotov hasn't even known Katie for 24 hours yet. Mind you, they slept in that 24 hour period, and didn't exactly spend most of the time awake together either. Support developing started with the sandwich basket, and by afternoon you've already developed the support. A bit quick don't you think? Just to be clear with the two "independants" their response should be "Yeah they should have a support" Not "yeah, whatever, I'll support it" Though it won't be enforced, if you're unsure then chances are it shouldn't be approved (by that individual) Fortunately in this group, we don't have major friendship networks for this to become biased "Yeah my friends support me no matter what" so theoretically, it should work. If he decides to keep his lack of control quiet, then finger pointing is inevitable and hence it "IS" his fault. Again, it's your character, but I'm going to have to ignore your "Don't disturb this" messages if you're going to be counter-productive to the general improvement of the group, since at the moment, I'd diagnose you as ill, suffering from "I love my characters too much" Overall, you seem to have developed plans and refuse to alter them unless Snowy tells you that it doesn't fit with the world, as said prior, this will feel extremely unnatural. (Even snowy adapts, eg Criminal status)

And I've said this above, but frankly it's like you've been planning Iso/Katie from the sandwich scene, so I disagree with their being no indication, since there was evidence of you trying for one prior. Whether it's worth a C though is another issue. I mean, she's given you a sandwich and you're sharing deep dark secrets, is Katie willing to advertise her sob story in bright neon lights? I felt this was a fault on Katie's (Snowy's) behalf then yours though. Bal's Amendment: Frankly, the only valid point I see is that it's an extra obstacle (slow things down) but as Bal(I think) said, a support relation should be obvious for people to see. I find it hard to believe it'd be used maliciously, since it's not set (Eg a panel of judges) but simply two supporters, if you can't find two people who agree with the support out of the 6 or so players (since 2-Snowy are excluded) then chances are, it shouldn't be happening, or people really hate you. (This one's sure to bite me) Iso's disposition: Your character, your choice, however I don't see any chance of him being integrated into the group properly if he's going to take such a stance and personally think his attitude of "Don't like, don't interact with" is rather annoying, and hinders character interaction. I don't know if you did it intentionally, or if it was a coincidence, but removing Irina and Isotov away from the plot (arguments on what should be done after the border town exit) was rather.... counter-productive to character relations. And Isotovs "It's my fault" acceptance, yet failing to do anything to compensate is, kind of portrays him as a liar in my eyes. Irina's don't point the finger makes no sense either, since as Cynthia said, it's clearly his fault, pointing the finger seems only natural. It would have worked had she gotten angry, but again Isotov intervenes and breaks off any character interaction. For some reason I feel as if you're putting too much focus on Isotov and not enough on Irina (Eg: Kamilla recruitment, apparently Irina was standing there watching while the whole thing played out, and didn't utter a word, but Isotov was down stairs hitting on Katie. Keeping sighing boy, I haven't even started with you yet! XD @Lacuna: Blazing hell! XD

The thing is, we've made "contact with the enemy" me And it's falling apart, developing things as we go without making amendments is like telling your men to "keep at it" and hold out for reinforcements that might never come. While I think it would be highly preferable for everything to be revised now, at present, no changes have been made, no problem has been solved. So what you're essentially saying is to keep the system unchanged, and hope everything works itself out. Have to agree on the prior friendships idea, it does seem too quick, like Isotov found his soulmate or something XD From my perspective, it looks as if you isolated Isotov from the group soley to make him build supports quickly. I did warn you :/ Moving passed something without actually making a plan to change it, or implementing countermeasures is just a sneaky way of saying "shut up." Nothing has been resolved in regards to supports so "I'll try harder in future" means very little, if at all credible. Furthermore, allowing Katie/Iso may act as a precedent for others who want a "quick and dirty friendship" support conversation. And isn't very fair overall. If there's an issue, ignoring it and moving on is just prolonging the issue. As said prior, an RP isn't a fanfiction, it's made up of various writers, Snowy does a good job hearing people out, probably a bit too much but I'm not going to complain there. However there is nothing wrong with challenging what he says. In the case of Damian/Katie's engagement, you were the first to blow the whistle, and Snowy also asked for it to be removed, this was fine, but I can understand the plausibile reasoning Ether came up with which was later supported by Balcerzak, if it had been an essential part of Ethers plan for his character then he may have fought harder against the removal, but apparently it was just something he came up with on the spot and didn't really seem to care. I agree that in the end, Snowy decides, but that doesn't mean his words are final, not the first time round at least anyway. Snowy says jump of a cliff I don't see why this'd even be an issue, I mean from your posts you seem to indicate that you don't really even care about gaining "cheap" stats from Supports, so giving everyone a "fair go" at getting exp should be your policy in the first place, assuming that you really are the "Mr Integrity" you paint yourself to be. XD

As far as I knew no, there wasn't any restriction, I recall an army being wiped out in 3 hours or so by 3~4 Rp'ers before, (think chapter 2 against bandits)

May I state the obvious and say that this battle is Chaos? Doesn't seem like people know what they're doing, hell it was more organized in chapter 1 XD For the people against Katie/Isotov What system would you suggest then? At the moment it's just ask "Wan't a support?" and if yes then things are done right? If that's not good enough, what do you suggest? A panel of judges? (I'm not against putting something in place, but saying "you can't do that" isn't really doing anything) EDIT: For one thing though, I'm against Mark getting a support with anyone, maybe Helios, but anyone else is ridiculous

"Quick and dirty friendships" XD Well, I don't really see supports being anything short of that though, genuine character relations don't seem to last anyway, as they switch from "friendly" to "Wants to strangle" in a blink of the eye, only supports that have lasted are the ones shared between characters with the same RP'ers. If you want to talk about quick supports, no one complained over Daimian/Aiya, and the reasoning was they were in a relationship? Many characters (Eg Marcus-Roy) were probably loyal to eachother and chances are Marcus had watched Roy grow up, doesn't mean he gets an auto C/B same with siblings. Just for reference when I whine to Snowy though Is anyone actually Against using InvisibleCastle to track their dice rolls?

@Lightning, there's no point mentioning the site if it's not trackable, since the issue isn't onlinevsreal. I've heard that phrase before, and I could pick out a few people who are editting their roles (or miraculously kept getting exact or +1overkill, and would always dodge attacks by 1. Sadly though, Phoenix isn't one of them Snowy's error regarding the stats most likely, was too tired to notice or change them to simplified. Regarding Supports Due to the lack of stat upgrades in this RP (4 levels?) I was thinking allowing multiple supports to be active at once. (Eg Katie-Isotov-Irina) all on B would get 3 stats+ to each character. Reasons: It's an RP, should have focus on character interaction Makes people get along (if they want the stat bonus) Lack of level ups need to be compensated somehow, else we'll be fighting similar enemies forever. I like complicating things. XD

Firstly I can't attack (Part of my character creation policy) I can buff someone though :P Secondly I don't want to proceed with battles until the tracker site (I'm assuming InvisibleCastles) usage is solved. Thirdly I don't want Snowy to log back on and complain we've killed all the guys.

Same, first site I get is Wikipedia, second is Motorcycles and hobbies or something. The one I found was Invisible Castle too, so I'm happy to see it's usage. Though as I said, I'd prefer naming them "Azure Morgan" "Azure Bandit" or something like that so it's alot easier to search and view everyones at once. A trackable dice rolling site works (didn't know they existed last time), Though it's pretty meaningless unless someone can check them, so it'd be nice if everyone used the same service if you're using trackers for accuracy. And a common name (EG Azure Kamilla, Azure Esphyr, or something set) As for leaving enemies, how about making a rule to wait at least 3 more battle posts before being able to attack again? (twin characters eg Damian/Aiya count as one battle post, not two) "Please don't kill them all" is a pretty weak system XD

Well if you want to start supports, asking people beforehand would be alot more efficient then striking up a random conversation, how about Pm'ing them and asking them now? I mean since no one's willing to actually figure out what we're going to do at the capitol, now would be an ideal time to post support conversations IMO. *Goes off to for themes then to see how fun it actually is*

Pfft, you need 3 pixels at least and that's just to make a proper border, shape is awkward and could use some work anyway. And excuse my foul mood, I'm arguing with some idiot who wants to make 10 weapons (high-grade) for the Rp'ers over the course of one night, despite not having any tools or materials to craft these weapons with on another RP. To relate to this RP, it's like Katie offering to teach everyone Fire magic while were on our way to the capitol >_> And everyone becoming expert mages when we arrive. On a different note, what's the point in themes? I mean it's not like we're ever going to hear it outside this thread, and realistically, music doesn't start playing when you character gets into a fight, despite what Napoleon says.
