  1. Those two pairs are terrible examples really. Fiora see Sain as nothing more than an annoyance during the entire Support as does Rebecca, and even in the end, Rebecca doesn’t trust Sain at all. I mean, in Sain’s ending with Rebecca, it is mentioned that is a good thing their son didn’t end up like his father, implying he wasn’t a good choice for Rebecca.
  2. You pretty much answered your own question. Womanizers only want women. For example, Sain only wants women. His flowery speech about romance and love is just a method to seduce women. He’s not really interested in love. Hell, of the womanizers of series, Sain is one of the shallow ones.
  3. Considering this is about romantic love, womanizers like Sain would be very out place. The lack of headband really doesn’t matter much considering it’s a special costume, plus if you make a Brave Roy silhoutte you would’t be able to see the headband as well.
  4. Maybe it will have Groom Marth, considering a recent Warriors reveal.
  5. About the traded Lilligant, the trade is on Nacrene City, it has a Modest nature and a Mischievous characteristic, so as you can imagine it’s Special Attack is ridiculously high. It’s combination of Own Tempo+Petal Dance is amazing, plus Petilil learns Sleep Powder at level 10 , Giga Drain at level 26 and Lilligant learns Quiver Dance at level 28, meaning that even weaker moves like Magical Leaf will hit really hard. Plus you don’t wait too long to evolve it, since only Lilligant learns Quiver Dance and Petal Dance. Petal Dance does come rather late at Level 46, but this is Gen V, where Giga Drain’s power was boosted from 60 to 75, which is pretty good.
  6. To be fair about most GHB being male, most notable antagonists are male, though I can imagine Ishtar, Selena, Petrine, Brunya. Ena might be a GHB due to being a villain of sorts in PoR, and I get the feeling that Nyna and Guinivere might be GHB as well, since they are sort of special units.
  7. You seem to be lacking a dedicated Special Attacker. Chandelure and Lilligant are good options. Chandelure does come late and it takes a while to evolve, but it’s pretty good. You can a Petilil from a trade in Black that has perfect IVs and Nature, and it has the Own Tempo ability. It’s probably going to only use Petal Dance to attack, but it only really needs that, with it’s insane Special Attack and it learns Quiver Dance.
  8. Remember what I said? Her stats doesn’t matter, her skills doesn’t matter, all she need is her horse and a Mend staff, and she’s good to go. She doesn’t even care much about Physic because of her high mobility, and her low defense won’t matter if she’s not going to see combat. She already a good unit by the fact the she’s an early game Troubadour. This holds true for the entire FE series, unless it’s a late game unit, any Troubadour is a good unit by virtue of being a Troubadour.
  9. What’s next?! Peach is not a natural blonde? Rosalina has nothing under her bang? Bowser’s shell spikes are fake?!
  10. Maribelle is a mounted healer without need to reclass, that comes early and already can wield Mend. Those facts alone make her a top tier unit. Her stats have nothing do with her place in the tier.
  11. The thing about what make Lyon’s quotes so good are the same reason as Ephraim’s. It’s not the quote themselves but their delivery. Just like you can tell Ephraim is really enjoying himself by the delivery of his quotes, you can tell Lyon’s change in personality by his delivery. Honestly, a lot of of the GBA FE voice actors were really good picks.
  12. Yeah, I never understood why Wyvern Riders are always portrayed heavy armor. Michalis, Cormag and Beruka seem to have the right idea though. And speaking of Draug, doesn’t his armor seem more like a Cavalier’s armor rather than a Knight’s? To be fair, Wyverns seem to be strong enough to carry large people without losing much speed, and Cormag and Glen do seem to wear light armor(for Wyvern Rider standards) perhaps to make up for their large size.
  13. I do know that otaku isn’t something exclusive to anime. But my point was that the fans IS is attracting are “fanservice” otaku, for a lack of a better word. And like Johann said, they spend a lot of monsy on their interest. So, with a business mindset, which type of fan is more attractive to IS? The “regular” fan, who is there for the gameplay and story, doesn’t care for fanservice and probably won’t spend much or the “otaku” fan, who is easy to please, doesn’t care for gameplay and story and is willing to spend a lot? I think the answer is obvious.
  14. When I said shut-in, I’ve meant that Otakus hardly ever leave their rooms, not quite as bad hikikomori though. And from what I’ve heard in Japan, Otakus there aren’t exaclty seen in a good light. From I what I’ve researched, It’s not uncommon, but mostly because they don’t have much to do in their rooms other than watching anime and play videogames.
  15. One explation for the lack of male fanservice, is the japanese fanbase, particulary the male one. Most otakus in Japan(and when I say otaku, I mean it in the real meaning of the word, those shut-ins who lead unhealthy lives), are extremely possesive of their characters. If the object of their obssesion have an interaction with any male character, they will throw a fit. If there’s male fanservice, they will throw a fit. If the voice actress for the character has a boyfriend, they will throw a fit. Anything that interfere with their fantasies will piss off the fanbase and will make them give up on the series. The japanese fandom is that problematic. Think about it, why do you think so many japanese games with avatars, have the entire cast become obsessed with the avatar? When IS brought heavy fanservice to the series, it was going to stay in the series permanently. Because the japanese fans brought to the series because of the fanservice will leave if there’s no fanservice, and these type of fans tend to bring in a lot of money, so IS doesn’t want them to go away.
  16. I’m going to chose to the Sonic Adveture 2 as well. And the first one as well. It’s interesting because when compared to it’s “counterpart”, Super Mario 64 doesn’t feel dated at all. Actually, I don’t think there is such a thing as a Mario game that feels dated. Even most of the spin-offs don’t feel as dated.
  17. A lot of Luigi’s personality comes from the fact that he is the constant number 2, a lot of his popularity comes from the fact that cheering for the underdog is cool. He wouldn’t be nearly as popular if he wasn’t always overshadowed by Mario. I’ve never meant to say Vigarde using Garm in Heroes, I leant using Garm in the original game.
  18. Yeah, I’ll never understand why people say that Gleipnir was his tome, when it never was. He only happened to be the only dark magic user other than Ewan. If Gleipnir belongs to anyone, is Lyon, being a royal of Grado and a dark magic user to boot. Which makes me realize that Vigarde not using Garm in his battle was a bit of a missed opportunity.
  19. With so many people defending Knoll, and claiming that Eirkia stole his tome, I get the feeling that because so many people started to defend him, Knoll will end up known as the guy who had his tome stolen. I get the feeling that Knoll will reach “meme” status of popularity. Kinda like how Luigi is only popular because he’s always number 2 to Mario. I’m not complaining about this nor am I saying this is a good thing. This is just something I wanted to hear people’s opinions on.
  20. http://www.siliconera.com/2018/01/24/blazblue-cross-tag-battle-director-talks-dlc-pricing/ Mori talks about the whole DLC thing. Even if it is cheaper, it’s still stupid to hide half of the cast behind DLC.
  21. Well, Grima was created with Divine Dragon blood, so it is possible to consider him a Divine Dragon. Or at the very least, a being close to one. It also might be possible that Grima can’t degenerate at all. He was created to be the perfect life form, and he is an artificial dragon, so he might not follow the same rules as normal dragons.
  22. Actually, Hell is not a place. It’s an event. It’s where the Devil and the souls deemed wicked will be burned when Judgment Day comes.
  23. I believe it easier to see Grima a Divine Dragon that was already born degenerated. I like to think that Grima is what Tiki could have become if she went mad.
  24. Considering Glepnir, Swift Sparrow and Desperation are in this Eirika’s base kit, it looks like she made to double. Your Mae might need some insane Res, because I don’t see her doubling. A Wary Fighter Blue Armor with Distant Counter might be the best bet against her.
