  1. They might ban the move instead, like they banned moody, instead of the Pokemon who gets them.
  2. I imagine that the shiny are actually placeholders. Remember that a lot of legendary Pokemon had shiny forms but you couldn't get ingame such as Xerneas and Yvetal.
  3. I'm very, very interested in the Paralysis nerf if it is true. And something new from Serebii: Z Move Power varies depending on the base move. Gigavolt Havoc from Thunderbolt is 175 base power. Nuzzle it has 100 and is Physical. Electro Ball it is 160 and Special. Looks like moves like Toxic won't be able to activate Z-moves, I think. EDIT: I posted on the other thread, but I'll post here too, because it amazes me. There's already fanart of Alolan Dugtrio: https://mobile.twitter.com/RoadaRollerDa/status/788222232313098245/photo/1 How are they so fast?
  4. Maybe it's a counterpart to Pyukumuku? They both seems to be based on creatures that live on the sea floor.
  5. If I'm not mistaken, GameXplain actually played the game itself, rather than a demo.
  6. The released screenshots are official, and I meant to say Plumeria.Aaaaand the Demo video is private. That was fast.
  7. According to some screenshots, you will be using a Lv.40 Pikachu in the demo, who can use a Z-move. You will also be fighting Pumelia.
  8. Well, if you're searching for something that's against the usual Pokemon formula and new innovating features, isn't Sun/Moon exactly what you're looking for? This game won't have any gyms, you will fight creatures aren't Pokemon at all, Pokemon have "limit break" like moves, you can Pokemon in your box train or search for items instead of rotting there, it's very highly implied that HMs are gone and plenty of other new features. Even with old Pokemon, Sun/Moon feels pretty new and fresh.
  9. Some of my favorites has already been said, but here are others that I like: Naesala: Heh. It's funny you should ask that... I'm not deluded enough to think that I can beat you. The goddess herself would hesitate to fight you. But my people are frozen solid, and I have to delude myself enough to think that I can help save them. Naesala: The curse of the blood pact applies if the master's orders aren't obeyed, but by the law of Begnion, you're overruled. So, Lekain, right here, right now... I'm going to tear you apart, as I've been wanting to do for years. Joshua: Listen... You can't reduce a nation to loot waiting to be divided. And more importantly, I made a vow to my mother. I'm going to succeed her as ruler of my homeland. Hey Caellach... You're the one who killed my mother, aren't you? Caellach: Yeah... Sorry 'bout that. Things happen, you know? C'mon, Joshua, don't hate me. This is war. There's nothing you can do about it. Besides, grudges get in the way of work, right? Joshua: That's true. It's as you say. Listen Caellach... I've got to kill you now. Don't hold it against me. Valter: Why do you laugh, dolt? Cormag: How can I not? I've dreamt of revenge, chased it for days... And now it's here before me. Oh, Valter... Your death will be slow and agonizing. Zelgius: I trust you know who you face. Zelgius, commander of this army. If you are not worthy of fighting me, then you are only wasting my time. Sanaki: I don't understand. How can you be a goddess and not know? I thought gods were perfect beings who knew everything! Yune: Gods? Perfect? Where did you get that idea? You haven't met a lot of gods, have you? Sanaki: Well, no. But divinity created life from nothing! Surely only perfect beings could do that! Yune: We did create life, and can do many things that you creatures of flesh can't. But that doesn't make us perfect. It just means we can make mistakes on a much grander scale. Sephiran: All beings endure tragedies for as long as they continue to live. It has always been the case that suffering is unavoidable. And this grim reality plays out over and over, in every country, under every ruler... As long as there are beings who feel, they will feel pain. Ike: So what? We should all just give in and die? Put it behind you. Deal with it. Sephiran: Do not make light of this... Ike: I'm not. Sephiran, I'm extremely grateful that you once helped me through a terrible time. But we have to accept that occasionally we all have to deal with hard times. I've had pain, I've had suffering, and I have gotten up and moved on. I don't try to forget what happened that day. I just accept it... And neither that or anything else will ever stop me. Sephiran: You are a strong man, Ike, son of Gawain. But not everyone is as strong as you...
  10. Shanna might be fragile, but she joins super early, so she's reliable. Zeiss is actually pretty good, his problem is that he joins rather late, and you already have Miledy,
  11. Landorus-T has Indimidate, can set up Stealth Rock, good stat raising moves such as Swords Dance and Rock Polish and other useful toys such as Knock Off and Explosion. Lopunny can Mega Evolve without any trouble, has amazing Speed and Attack stats, plus it has perfect type coverage, no Pokemon can resist Lopunny, so it deal huge damage to every single Pokemon in OU, no exception. No Pokemon can safely switch against Lopunny without a great risk. Mega Medicham's Attack stat is insanely high thanks to Pure Power. It's freaky how strong that thing is.
  12. Not really a gaming opinion, but related to it: I prefer the Runway Guys over Game Grumps. I usually don't do rants but: Sorry, it's just something that always bothered me.
  13. I'm not saying it's saying it's different and as a fan of the game, I felt insulted as well, since the point of it was to insult the fans of the game. The person simply insulted them in a more roundabout way as to avoid being direct and avoid being blamed. It happens a lot in gaming forums, I've noticed.
  14. Actually, what they referred TMS #FE as "Lowest Common Denominator: The Game", rather than the fans of the game. I don't remember who said it though. But the idea is there, as the person didn't have to look in the face of the TMS #FE fans, the person said a very hurtful thing without shame and without considering the feeling of others. If the person had to look in the face of actual TMS #FE fans, they would have never said that, regardless of their actual opinon, due to the fact that they don't have the internet's anonymity.
  15. It's cathartic for some people. In the real world, most people tend to hold it in their emotions a lot and almost never say what they mean, so when there's place where appears you can do and say anything you want without consequence, these same people will go wild, they let loose everything the held it in. There's something charming and almost intoxicating about anonymity you know.
  16. Perhaps the creators of Silvally planed to use the power of Arceus to fight the Ultra Beasts? It would make sense. Maybe they went overboard? They were trying to copy the power of "God" after all. Haven't the scientists in the Pokemon learned anything from the scientists of Video Games and Anime? Trying to copy the power of God never ends well. And the world tends to pay the price for that.
  17. The Viera from the Clan of Worms seems to be the merciless sort. Come on, the Pit Monster isn't that bad...who I am kidding, it is that bad. Especially this early in the game.
  18. To be fair, Absol's only real flaw is it's speed. If only it was a little faster, it would a great class cannon.
  19. Because they aren't Gen 1. Trubbish and Garbodor's story is actualy kind of interesting and funny. Trubbish and Garbodor were born from the excess of trash in Unova. They eat and absorb garbage, but don't pollute the environment. It's why the Janitor trainer uses Trubbish and Garbodor as they are useful for cleaning. In other words, Unova's trash problem will..solve itself, ironic as that sounds. If only that happened in real life.
  20. To be fair both classes are good, but the other class just deals insane amount of damage with the elemental blades. Have you ever tried those attacks?
  21. While my version Alpha Sapphire, I did watch the Omega Ruby part, and I can say that yes, Courtney is actually a bit crazy in Omega Ruby.
  22. Are you forgetting Tyrantrum? How can you create a royal team without a tyrant? And fun fact: According to Ken Sugimori, Serperior is based on french royalty.
  23. Personally, I think doesn't have enough cool toys. They need more good moves to become even stronger.
