Make Byleth is the last male lead for 3H and Dimitri alone has almost 70,000 more voters coming by.
Chrom is no competition, as he’s been stable with Roughly the Same amount of Votes since CYL1. He is high ranking but never gaining any favor or moving up.
robin has never surpassed Chrom and until Chrom is gone, male robin very likely won’t as Chrom has proven the most popular awakening male and sometimes character (between Chrom and Lucina depending on the poll)
Felix is an interesting case. He is high ranking but like all other high ranking non lords being added to the game is going to be enough to pull him down vastly.
Seliph or Sigurd will get in 5 most likely. You’re right they are competition. The other will get all of the firsts votes and get in 6. That’s why I say 5/6 give is Marth, Byleth, Seliph, and Sigurd.
with 70,000 more votes floating around, 4th place means nothing. 100th, 98th, 40th and etc place could come up and all best Chrom (random numbers not based around the characters)
someone brought up a good point. if awakening ever gets a remasters and CYL is going on, that’s when Chrom does have a chance.
what id love to do... is post this same poll and explanation on a Japanese forum. But I don’t know Japanese or anything like that. But japan is where Chrom still wins polls, was added to warriors because they felt him needed, was added to smash due to popularity etc. in Japan they may have a different view and be harder to convince where here most of us already agree

-Chrom and Olivia get a special flashback that actually references the “in his heart he knew who it would be” text-Chrom and Olivia are both awkward and shy and their C-A supports include them crushing and being shy, and working past that to have a relationship
-Olivia admits in the flashback that she is in love with Chrom but is willing to swallow her feelings. This means canonically, Olivia is in love with Chrom (as this takes place before Chrom courts her, and it explains their awkward exchanges)-Inigo looks exactly like Chrom especially with blue hair. He also is the only other kid to have the Brand (except Lucina and Owain)
-Inigo is characterized by his low self confidence and esteem, a trait that is heavy handed in Lucina’s sibling support, which also has the scene of the sibling being scared of bugs (which Inigo is)
-When Inigo’s dad dies, the whole army is distraught and looks to Inigo to be a crutch. Why does Inigo’s outlook matter? Why did Inigo’s father matter so much? If he’s the prince it makes sense.
-little known fact outside of awkaening fans, Inigo directly states he Got his flirtatiousness from his mom. It’s more tied to his low self esteem and shyness than anything else (which writes off why virion is a popular candidate)
-The Queen is someone who makes ylisse very happy and they love her. Olivia fits this role best as they say she tours the land dancing, mending the people. They love her. Others don’t have this element.
my personal favorites outside of that one:
Stahl and Sully-the riders can’t help but love this
Lon’Qu and Lissa-Owain’s naming scheme has the 2 syllable names everyone from Lon’Qu region has. (Lon’Qu SayRi yeen day, Owain is pronounced o’wain) Owain also Wears the fur gloves.
Vaike and Cordelia-The kinda screw. Up fun “teach” who can’t ever beat Chrom and the genius prodigy. Chrom’s best friend and a woman who loves him teaming up to take him down, in order to make him stronger. (Plus I ship Severa and Inigo and this makes Chrom, Vaike, and Cordelia all in the same family group)Henry and Miriel-Not one of the best but I love it idk.
Libra and Tharja-pure monk and dark mage teaming up. Also Libra being a pushover fits imo Noire’s father support.
Frederick and Sumia-Bonding over how happy Frederick is that she can protect Chrom. Chrom’s retainers basically both obsessed with his safety more than their own but also has Sumia as the sceew up and Frederick seeming so perfect, but not a “I’ll make you better” scene it’s “I don’t care if you mess up” and I love it.
Gauis and Nowi-He loves candy and she looks like a kid but he likes her personality eventually. Not my favorite but one of the few with her I can get behind.
Kellam and Panne-She notices him! Always! And he wants to fight with her to get stronger? Kellam shows a lot of personality aside from being invisible
Virion and Cherche-it is obvious but I like it anyway
Donnell and Mariabelle-Proper uptown woman and a southern kinda guy. I like this cliche. And she’s teaching him to be proper instead if the man asserting his values; but they both bond through it.
Robin and Lucina-Eh it’s kinda weird and a bit obvious but I still like it sorry.
Inigo and Severa-Sleazy merc and grumpy girl who wins him over and sees he’s more than a sleazy merc.
honestly those are my only powerful gen 2 ships.
maybe Owain and Cynthia, Laurent and Noire, Brady and Kjelle. But I’m not 100% set yet -

Instead of online voting, it should be done via a thing in-game, and only for those games linked to an Nintendo account for X amount of time (say, a month). And not announce this until a week beforehand, so people don't try to make a bunch of alts. Would SERIOUSLY cut down on the number of votes, but it'll cut down on the VG salt.

I like the analysis behind the topic but I don't like the premise behind it. I suspect that Chrom will get in, but it will most likely be after Robin (a la Smash).
Assuming the game doesn't shut down first.
Personally I don’t see robin winning first. Maybe female robin from her side but Chrom has been above male every single CYL and most official polls reflect Chrom as the most popular with him only sometimes losing to Lucina. Female may win first but female side is way, way, harder to predict so for the purpose of this one I was discounting them.

Female side is way more volatile and difficult to predict but with Claude and Dimitri gone, male Byleth has no real competition aside from Marth. If female gets in 5 and male doesn’t it will be exciting to see if one avatar getting in removed the other sex. I think it would be interesting if it did; but the recurring heroes comic treats male and female as separate characters so I don’t think they will.

If Sigurd wins, all Sigurd votes go to Seliph. And remember Chrom got a legendary now, so Seliph or Sigurd have a HUGE leg up, and if only one gets a legendary then Chrom has no chance whatsoever Against the other
Marth and Byleth, Sigurd, or Seliph will for sure keep Chrom out of top 2 this and next year. Cyl 6 he has no chance whatsoever -

I don’t think robin will ever beat Chrom, as Chrom has main character bias and is more popular
but Seliph ot sigurd, Byleth (now thst all 3H lords are gone), and Marth are going to be keeping Chrom out for the next couple years

after Dimitri won, there are 70,000 more votes shuffling around. That’s enough to beat Chrom 6 times. Chrom being in 4th doesn’t matter because the people in 1st will never, ever, switch and vote Chrom.

As for either of their chances (or Marth's), it will depend on when the next game is announced. Any new games or remakes will cause recency bias that will upset the polls.
I also don't think that Seliph will take it. If any male Jugdral character takes the prize, it will be Reinhardt, full stop.
I disagree with that. Chrom is more popular than robin according to most polls, and Chrom will always have main character Bias that (despite common speech often having us say) only he actually has.

The first and maybe most important thing for this Is that every single character returns. All costumes, they can promote again, etc. but we’re adding more
warriros had 23, but some were clones. I want to keep this for the sake of being able to add more, meaning more supports. Plus clones have different builds, skills, stats, and you can alter the weapon.
ny new characters will be from Tellius and 3 Houses, with some strange travelers from elsewhere! New characters are all new movesets from the OG crew at least
I am also adding a couple more, because I think with so many assets able to be ported we can over doubleTellius (10)

except! When you beat story mode, villain mode unlocks! It’s half the length but shows you what was happening when you Weren’t winning.
Validar, Gharnef, and Iago join as ClonesBlack Knight, Thales, Darios, and Walhart also join. 2 because obviously the games but Walhart because idk he can be a titans clone, but he should have been in as a villain considering he’s the antithesis to Chrom who was the character they used to even pitch the game to Nintendo.
the villains support each other at least mostly, but for the final act he’ll the heroes. Walhart can support Ike and Chrom, Blacj knight supports Ike Thales Byleth the needed ones. Darios supports the twins of course. Gharnef, Calidar, and Iago support Marth, Chrom, and Corrin as the respective main characters but Validar also gets Robin for sure.

story is somewhat simple but most returning characters are still in their world
the three gleamstone holders + 1 sidekick come back though

Rowan and Lianne are sent off by their mom to help restore the kingdoms and to find Darios. In the midst some chaos with the fire emblem ensues and it ruptures. They only retain Xander and Ryomas gleamstones (that way just the thrrr main characters return)
early ish on they find the good version of Darios. Here, the gleamstone holders + their sidekicks all have to split off to somehow fix their respective stones (by defeating the evil That followed them)
chrom’s team gets Dariosand meets Dimitri they have to fight Validar and Walhart, but in the midst of this Darios succumbs to validars corruption and summons a dragon Chrom recognizes this from the first game and robin, so he and Dimitri set out to save him
marths gets Rowan and meets Edelgard they fight an angry Rhea and calm her down, and fight Gharnef they defeat gharnef but Rhea in a now normalized state says she went berserk because a close friend was wounded
Corrin gets Lianne and meets claude they fight against Iago and meet Ike late game
Ike has been tracking the black knight, now nearly invincible turns out he has a the gleamstones, and they are enchanted by Thales
the teams all unite and meet with Byleth, maybe Jeralt and Shamir too(but only after so that no house lord is the one who first sees him)
The teams fight Darios and save him, but he wasted too much time and they now have to fight BK in an invincible state referencing Ike’s endgame, and they must fight Thales and a large dragon that resembles Hedgemon Edelgard to reference claude and Dimitri’s endgame (not exactly nemesis but close, and Edelgard is referenced above that’s why?)
of course, for modes...
all history maps return. This is where we get most character unlocks and seals are. Alm, Priam, and Roy would be unlocked here, as well as anyone else who couldn’t fit the story.
Custom mode where you can layout Keeps along the map, and choose what enemies come. Maybe this can be an online challenge but you don’t get drops so you can’t spam character drops (or let us because why not?)
build a keep-just a silly side thing items we find are stored and we can run around as any character and review it. Finishing supports, finding the secret items and clear conditions, finishing adventure/history maps, all that stuff gives us new items to look at.
if IS has the guts to canonize Chrom and Olivia, then they should have supports as well
if dlc is structured the same way...

Just a fun analysis I was doing on it (not super scientific or anything)
But Chrom I think has literally a 0% chance to win. For one his legendary is now out so he has no momentum
but the major reason is that votes jump around. Being 4th won’t help because think of 2 to 3. Hector votes went to Eliwood, pulling Eliwood from deep down into the top 2.
With Hector and Eliwood and Ephraim gone, the OG fans are going to jump to Seliph, who will then get in likely with Byleth who is now getting all the 3H focus since house lords are gone. Then Sigurd and Marth and then, it’s been 2 years and they will want Lief since Sigurd and Seliph are in, and of course this is CYL 7 now snd Chrom is neither new/relevant or “Old school FE” is his support is dead if it isn’t already for 5 but going further, by CYL 8 we will likely have a new FE Game with many new characters and like 3H it’ll sweep
Chrom May get no votes for 5 rendering this moot
and since CYL could end at any time we can’t guarantee he ever makes it.
I like Chrom but it’s interesting to me that a character who was too the entire time may actually never make it in. (And again, CYL 5 May prove to be his end now that his hype is gone)
much of this comes from how every site and forum I see Chrom is called a potato and said to be very boring or unpopular. I disagree That he’s boring for many reasons, but still literally everything I see (even smash bros boards I’ve seen say nobody plays Chrom on-line) says nobody likes him at least anymore. Which is sad but again, kinda interesting.

I've heard that paired endings are determined by which units have the most support points with one another by the end, not the order in which the A supports are attained. If you check the "close allies" tab on the roster page for each character, the character at the top is the one that the unit has the most points with. As long as you keep Dimitri and Ingrid beside one another in fights and keep Ashe further away, you should be able to secure their ending, especially if you're on normal and are able to make use of the free grinding maps.
Dmitri randomly changed to Dedue from Ingrid! And Felix is below him Ingrid is 3rd
Ive done 4 battles with them beside each other. The heart doesn’t show up for them anymore.
Is there any way to bring them back?

Good title, bad guy name. Really sounds like the predictable church corruption. That said if an old ugly man with a scary face is the good guy and the cute girl with church vibes is the villain, I’m excited.

So far, nope
no confirmation that we even get anyone beyond the 8 students we choose. And the calander aspect implies we have fewer main battles than usual (many small battles few major battles) so it’s actually entirely possible that this is a smaller journey with just our class
