Once you get to My Castle at Chapter 7. When you select "Search for enemies" on the map menu, you can pick a spot to summon an encounter to. The level of the opponents and the cost to summon them is dependent on the spot you pick. You can't choose a spot unless you have completed the chapter that takes place there.Encounters also spawn randomly after chapters and after waiting a few hours. Random encounters' levels are based on story progression and spawn in random locations.

Kamui can get all the classes they want. There is no limit. I am such a someone. Kamui can Buddy Seal to turn into the classes of as many people as he likes. Actually, Male Kamui can get Zero's class with a Buddy Seal just like he can do with any other guy, so he doesn't get anything special from marrying him. Same deal for Shara.

Zero Niles is great for a while because the high might of bows and passable starting STR, but eventually damage output becomes pretty low. Unfortunately Anna's Gift isn't even a map. You just talk to Anna and she gives you one of the two items. So EwA is the only free map, unlike the various Spotpass paralogues in Awakening.

Sort of. The last DLC was released in August and no more DLC maps have been announced yet, so the game has been static for months now. However, a character poll was conducted recently, which, in Awakening's case, was used to decide the content of DLC. There are no Spotpass characters in Fates but there are amiibo, and with Roy and Corrin amiibos on the horizon, it's possible that future updates will be released to make said amiibo compatible.

The truth is that no age has been given in the game or the supplementary material. Seventeen is actually very possible. Anime/JRPG characters are always younger than their endowments would imply. But it doesn't matter now. She'll be over 18 in the localized version without any doubt.

When you capture an enemy with an unobtainable skill, the skill disappears. 'Tis a shame. However, Deadly Breath, Four Fangs, Snake Venom, and Play Time all stack. Unlike the enemy, however, the player can't get Four Fangs on a unit who isn't a wolf or fox. This means it is pretty much only possible with the second gen unless you purchase skills for Flannel and Nishiki.

Azura gets nothing from Hinoka, and Hinoka gets Rod Knight from Azura. Flannel gets nothing from Arthur, and Arthur gets Outlaw from Flannel.The case of Flannel getting Cavalier from Arthur is wrong, too. If a unit will always get their Buddy's Primary Class unless their Buddy's Primary matches their own or is exclusive. Fighter is not Flannel's Primary Class and is not exclusive class, either, so a Buddy Seal with Arthur lets Flannel reclass to Fighter, even though he can do it naturally. To clear the air: Azura gets nothing from Tsubaki and Hinoka. Nishiki gets nothing from Tsukuyomi and Orochi. Flannel gets nothing from Arthur and Charlotte. So why do all but two of the exclusive-class units have an A+ support with a unit they get nothing from? ...good question.

Corrin has a cool design, turns into a dragon, and is in Smash Bros., so I like them. I could complain about the story all day but I have practically never enjoyed the story of a JRPG or JSRPG so why bother? I can press the start button, skip the dialogue, and suddenly Corrin is one of the most unique, badass units in the series.

If Ryoma got his hair cut, would anyone even recognize him outside of his lobster suit? It's like 20% of his body. I'm liking every art piece Kozaki's been putting out. He's fallen at #2 on my list of favourite FE character artists, just above Senri Kita and below the fantastic Sachiko Wada.

People can complain about Corrin's personality and Fates' plot all they like, but Corrin is still a silver backflipping manakete princess who carries a luminous golden chainsaw and can turn her hands into the jaws of a mighty dragon to fire plasma blasts, and I want that in my Smash games damn it

Cute little countrygirl accent isn't rare or difficult at all. Plenty of children's shows have a cute young southern belle character, and the accent was very common in films just fifty years ago (before most American films were in NYC or LA that is). There's a clear difference between being cute with a Texan accent and a Rusian accent: the Texan accent is an actual dialect of English and not just a corruption of English with a couple mispronunciations, therefore a Texan accent can be strong while more clearly conveying personality and emotion.

True...My only concern was that it would practically invalidate weapon ranks because with the inexpensive nature of Bronze weapons you could just make a quick and dirty Bronze Axe +3 with 4000G and 11 gems and I'm already basically at C Rank. Then again, forging already breaks weapon balance, and Brigand/Bandit/Robber weapons already exist to break the standards of E-Rank. Maybe a better way to stay in that golden "sounds cool and is objectively a benefit but rarely makes an actual difference in gameplay" sweetspot Personal Skills have would be: Hypercritical: Weapons that normally can't Critical Hit can Critical Hit with half the normal Critical Hit Rate.

Hypercritical: All weapons can deal Critical Hits, but Critical Hits only do ×2 damage instead of ×3. Alternatively, Hypocritical: Critical Rate -10, but Critical Hits deal ×4 damage instead of ×3. Yup. Just tried it myself and you're right. On the map I tested it on the first time, Corrin was the only unit, hence the brain fart. Never played the full game in anything but Classic. Odd change to make, as that makes it really hard to lose Casual maps without a total wipeout.

Just like in Awakening, the hero's death will cause a Game Over even on Casual. Corrin can die without penalty on Phoenix Mode however. Azura can die like everyone else, but she just gets severely injuered and shows up in cutscenes like important characters always do.

To be specific, that scene uses angles and lighting to hide Corrin's face. Your chosen voice will be heard in the cutscene though. They appear as My Castle decor that you can use to make your map more dangerous online.As far as I can tell, you only get one of each. I've only gotten one healing zone, one fort, one set of spikes, one forest, etc.

It's partially about being obtainable. Miko!Kamui × Asama will spawn a Kanna with Nohr Prince, Priest, and Herb Merchant. -If he gets an A+ or S Support with someone, they'll get Miko/Priest. -If he marries Mitama, she'll be unable to use a Marriage Seal at all. If Samurai!Kamui marries Ryoma, then Kanna's classes will be Nohr Prince, Samurai, and Pegasus Warrior. -If he gets an A+ or S Support with someone, they'll get Samurai. Samurai!Kamui × Hana will spawn a Kanna with Nohr Princess, Samurai and Miko. -If she gets an A+ or S Support with someone, they'll get Samurai. -If she marries Hisame, Hisame will get Mercenary from the Marriage Seal as an analogue to Samurai, never Preist.
