  1. What exactly are the perks of Merchant? I did it for her and am trying to for Keaton's kid (aka Holo as I will call her for RP). I honestly chose it as it sounded cool...
  2. Some people like her as an axe tank, but by and large most people just bench her.
  3. I agree. I'm holding out a small hope that it will come with the beach DLC, but I doubt it.
  4. I... Honestly don't know. I don't even know If English and Japanese copies can mingle/connect.
  5. Japanese because Camilla doesn't sound like my grandmother there, and Hinoka does sound like she's a chain smoker. Then again, I find the Japanese language beautiful (though I can't write it and barely know any words). Far more appealing to the ear than English IMO, though despite its harsh tones I like German most.
  6. It's a reward for visit or battle points in My Castle. Can't remember which...Edit- you get it quick. I got it by level 10-15ish.
  7. Kindof. Not as an accessory, but if you have disrobing gale, you see people in their underwear. NOTE: Carry a tome besides Disrobing Gale. When you fight a bunch of Berzerkers you will know why...
  8. Yay. Now I can grind up people. Question: once I use eternal seals do level 21-98s gain XP as if they were 19 or 20's? Because just five levels ahead leads to such SLOW XP growth -.-
  9. Thanks! Was scared of this, but was hopeful.
  10. Okay I want an opinion, not an objective question. After raising Flora to A, I really like her. Like as much as Xamilla. Who do you all think is a better wife/spouse: Camilla or Flora? I detest the S support with Flora, how she wants to bend over backwards to be a maid-wife... But she really grew on me in C-A. Meanwhile, wanted to marry Camilla since I saw here. Also/: I married both of them and saved over on after another in a seperate slot. Is there anyway to save all the "S" conversations for the record hall?
  11. Can I get children I don't have this way (example Ignis is I marry Camilla) and if so, do they have any supports?
  12. ...I agree Kotaku is bad but can I just say how much I like your avatar? I don't think Peri is a good person, but she is one of the most interesting I have every seen in a game.
  13. Yeah I should have gotten it in the past. Then again, I have RD and it's worth so much more than it used to be. And I kept it in great shape.
  14. I definitely will. As I said I'm a Germany/Japan main, 1850-1950. But ancient cultures are just so damn fascinating, especially since we don't have complete records. Allows for educated guessing, allows for expansion of the mind, etc. Thank you both for this, will definitely be reading them.
  15. Haven't read them, definetely will. I have read alot about the voyages of the Viking Merchants, as well as about Yggradisil, the world snake, etc. Absolutely. Mods said not to talk about A-Bombs so I won't, but from the first written histories in Mesopotamia and the remains of the Indus River Civilizations, it's clear warfare is endemic in humans. From the time of Persia and Rome, of Carthage and of Assyria, the strongest survive, compete, decline, and are replaced. Roughly every 250 years an empire declines and a new one rises, this has almost always been true, though after Rome there was a gap. We are currently in about our 50th-100th year of "rule" depending on how you count it, though with changes in technology I do believe the cycle will change.
  16. As do I. The ancient Norse were such an interesting culture but they usually get looked over for England, Germany, and France in Europe, sometimes Russia as well (which was descended from Vikings anyway, or at least the Kievan Rus).
  17. You know, I said I couldn't see Fascist Germany or Italy, but I could see the Prusso-German Empire of 1871-1918, or the Piedmontese-Italian Kingdom of 1861-The Beginnings of Mussolini, or even a little into his reign. Yeah, they have alot which is nice. Then again, even Frelia/Renais had them. Siegmund and some others IIRC.
  18. Hmm I could see that. I was looking in the Medieval period but Roman would also make political sense, all the infighting and all.
  19. Roger That. I will ask, does anyone else have any idea of what Nohr could be based on? As I said topographically it looks like Switzerland and the surroundings, but as a Kingdom the closest I can think of is the Kingdom of Bohemia.
  20. No problem. And don't get me wrong: every city was a hot bed of the enemy which is why I said complete. You seem to know alot don't sell yourself short :). This is true, and would have been one of the great travesties of history. Not militarily, but from a cultural/historical perspective. Edit- I was wrong, both were militarily significant- One a Seaport, the other vital in munition creation. Then again, I hadn't read anything on that for a long time. Regardless my fault, mind was fuzzy.
  21. Exactly. I wasn't attacking the USA, I actually in this instance say it was the right decision. If I was in the same position, I would do the same thing (I believe- hard to put you mind in the exact same position). Nagasaki and Hiroshima WERE NOT complete military installations. One, I can't remember which, was literally the third choice. The first two cities had cloud cover so we dropped it on the third. Yes, they had developed Pathogens, and used them in China. They dropped ceramic bombs filled with bacteria. The BIG thing people rarely here about is the I-401's which carried planes. At the time of surrender, one was headed to bomb the Panama Canal, which was lightly defended as we thought it was safe. That would have ruined international shipping for YEARS.
  22. Ah gotcha. I actually discounted both as Fascism was generally anti-monarchist (Italy still had a king but they curtailed his power), and really all they have in similar is being "Bad" and invading other nations. Actually, they WERE ready to surrender. We bombed them not knowing that for a coupla reasons. 1.- We asked for unconditional surrender. They sent back a message saying they were thinking about it. We mistranslated it as a redusal. 2.- We needed them to surrender ASAP as the Russians were taking territory and we didn't want it to be Communist Post War. 3.- We weren't sure they were on the edge of surrender, and it would save many troops to just bomb them into submission. IF they had fought and IF we had invaded the world would be much different. No baby boombers, no economic miracle, possibly a North and South Japan, etc. The moment the Soviets invaded, however, memo's in the Japanese government indicated they were ready to seek whatever peace they could with the Americans. They wanted to protect the home isles. As they say, hindsight is 20/20, We did the best with that we knew. Honestly, Atomic Bombs weren't near as bad as the firebombing of Dresden, Cologne, or Tokyo.
