The point of bringing up famitsu is that's how they have been advertising the DLC, which usually runs in the magazine 1-2 weeks (exact dates escape me) before release, giving details on what will be in it. The official site also updates before hte DLC drops. And also, you konw, both of these things give a date ahead of time

Dropping the DLC on monday, with no further information on it, out of nowhere is almost certainly not going to happen.

That's why I said it would be odd, but nice. Famitsu is more than likely going to reveal it this week or next week. Any later would be odd, since that would push the release to April (Famitsu usually has info at least a week before release).

No, but it has perks like getting some Robin, Hinoka, Cordelis, Elise, Navarre, and Rowan materials. And, the lack of axes.

True, with indefinite shadows, should be good place to farm for those materials. Keeping the cover soldiers alive should make more grunts disappear, prolonging your time on the map.

Edit: Realized that Shadow Rushes really aren't good places for level or mat grinding. There is a chance of shadow dropping a weapon instead of a material, and in order to get more units to eventually appear, you have to wait two minutes per respawn (after you kill the initial amount).

Typically, about one I think which is about what I got on the pincer escape except I could pair up

Were your units level 106 or above? For the 1 level, were you counting MVP bonus or not? If they were above 106 and not counting MVP bonus, 1 level with pair up is much better than the level 106 or 104 maps.

    Monday as in this monday?

I don't think there's a chance of that. Famitsu didn't have any feature on it this month and dropping it with no lead up at all would be baffling.

    Here's the info: https://www.reddit.com/r/fireemblem/comments/82vqj5/awakening_dlc_for_warriors_possibly_on_the/

A Monday release definitely would be odd, but nice. Also, the Warriors DLC has been revealed on the weekly version of the magazine, not the monthly version, so it could have it on this upcoming Wednesday's publication, which would put the DLC at a March 22 release, or the week after.

I personally find it odd that they are not releasing it this week since Hyrule Warriors DE comes out on March 22 in Japan, so all attention would likely go to it.

I found that the high level shadow assault mission was decent for leveling. The lower ones may be too. You can only take one ally though.

How many levels do you gain per run? Don't think they are as good as the level 106 villager rescue or level 104 pincer escape for leveling.

  6. The last bastion of rumor/hope is the Fire Emblem Heroes 2.3.0 Datamine where apparently Tharja will have a Warriors map release on Monday in that game. This happened with the Shadow Dragon DLC characters too, where their maps came out after the DLC was released.

Of course, IS could change the release date of the Tharja map to match the release date of the Awakening DLC.

It really helps to focus on one or two characters and then level up the rest with money.

Leveling up with money is good until 106. Then it's better to actually grind experience on the higher level maps (with Paragon, EXP blessing, and EXP boost through Awakening).

That behavior isn't intended though. It's essentially an exploit, and certainly not an argument for keeping things as is.

It was a thing in Hyrule Warriors as well from what I heard. KT could have easily fixed it, but they decided not to. If not, then eh, would be neat if they kept it in the sequel.

And as I said, you can easily back out to the title screen and go back in seconds (Switch version at least) in order to force a save, so it's a non-issue.

    • Save convoy/camp changes immediately, rather than after completing the next mission.

No thanks. You can easily back out to the title screen if you want to save. I like that it doesn't save changes immediately, because if you Appraise the weapon, write down somewhere what it is, then manually close the game, you can go back in and see that it was never appraised, which would save you gold.
