  1. Each time another FE title made it's way to heroes beyond the early Family Bonds and Sibling Bonds, there was always at least one Lord and one at least semi-important character featured in the banner. I guess save Echoes, but I don't actually recall many of the Echoes characters beyond Alm and Celica being all that important...? Maybe besides Conrad? Anyway, I don't specifically remember the estimated lifespan of Heroes, but we get 2 banners a month featuring new characters besides the Legendary Banner, I really don't think we'll go, say, the rest of the year without a little more Genealogy or Thracia representation. And if not, well they can't keep giving us more Awakening and Fates forever.
  2. Remember that Thracia had two new characters and two not even different looking alts. If the future looks grim, blame everyone who thought it a good idea to make such low effort alts, and blame us for putting original Reinhardt in a celebrity position.
  3. Well since it's what I've been running and has proven good when I do use her, I'll just leave this build for reference. It's not a perfect set, yes. But when Green Armors are some of the most frightening units in the game by far, it's a set I was willing to make sacrifices for, and now that I've had it in use for a while, I no longer regret making the choices I made.
  4. For both dancers, one of their more potent builds is TA3 Raventome builds. Inigo would prefer to run +Spd -Atk, as his attack is already quite low (and doesn't matter quite as much since he doesn't want to be in neutral or disadvantageous battles anyways) and puts his speed at a point where he can dodge most doubles. Lowering his Res hurts his ability to counter Reinhardt, even if his Bow countering ability is improved. As for Shigure... I'd personally vote +Res -HP since that improves his ability to take on Red Mages without hurting his ability to battle bows.
  5. I gave Julia Divine Nage finally just for this Infernal battle. It wasn't necessary in the slightest, but I figured since it was something I been meaning to do for a while, I could do it finally. My main mage fliers and dancer (ToD!Nowi, FeMorgan, and HNY!Azura) plus +HP -Def Julia were able to pick only a few of the enemy off at a time (first the Red Manakete, then the Lance Flier) before all the archers, Green Mage, and Kana were all right there. Julia was able to OHKO Kana (with an Atk +3 seal and Fury 3) if the Bow Cav wasn't providing Drive Res, so they got picked off first. Julia handled her business with Kana, then from there it was just hit the appropriate target dead with ubercharged Blade Fliers. Julia isn't necessary for the fight, but she at least was able to perform her role well while accidentally also having to take a bow to the face, which ironically would have been better improved with normal Naga, but that's life for ya.
  6. Takumi will become our first summoned hero instead of Virion...? So what does that mean for Virion's 5* lv40 text? He directly references the fact he is our first hero. I guess I'm also glad I had pity breaking M!Corrin and Clair in the past... kind of... not really, but somewhat? It at least means I'll have a good excuse to finally build M!Corrin. Clair I'm not expecting much from, I mean she is +Res -Spd. I'm glad, since they are updating the tutorial, that we are being compensated the cost it would take to upgrade them all to 4*, especially since I personally sent home starter Raigh, Matthew, and Virion since then and am basically getting free 6,600 feathers.
  7. Well, not the Green I was expecting, but the green I welcome nonetheless. PA!Inigo +Atk -Res. Not terrible, could be better. He'll at least pull off Gronnraven+ decently well whenever I can be bothered to do that. Initially thought he was -Spd until I remembered he is a ranged dancer. All in all, there were certainly worse ways this pull could have gone. This also means I am now only missing one dancer: PA!Olivia.
  8. Listen up, kiddies, because I'm about the unload some knowledge into you. Positioning is important. For you see, I was running my Flier Emblem (ToD!Nowi, FeMorgan, Catria, and HNY!Azura) and kept losing because, the way I was targeting the enemy, I couldn't safely pick off enemies or retreat safely, and I already had to ensure my Azura was buffing Nowis Defense enough to survive a hit from the Firesweep Lance Flier. Wanna know the winning strategy? I put Nowi in a different spot when she was targeting her enemies. I won that round not because I was stronger, but because I found that sweetspot that would let me safely kill and retreat. Not even enemy AI manipulation positioning, just Where do I need to be? positioning.
  9. When you put it that way, now I really only regret regretting now. I say that, but I regret even pulling a good natured unit, you know an action left completely to luck, so... man I am a strange person and need to chill out...
  10. I'm not really worried about her performance, more about the skills I gave her. See, out of the skills I had laying around, she actually got the best overall results, not just against Armors, when packing Swift Sparrow and Chill Spd, both of which I had one fodder each of. What worries me is that someone more deserving of one or the other will come up eventually, even though her W-L-D against all foes with +10 merge and Fury 3 override is 170-10-50, which isn't that bad all things considered (she doesn't even have any field or combat atk buffs)
  11. Well @XRay, My Soleil has enjoyed a nice Caeda Casserole, before she herself became a Soleil Sorbet for my [+Atk -Res] Soleil once she was promoted. And now she has the Attack of a +Atk Grima and the armor killing potential of a TA3 armorslayer. ...man, I cannot even enjoy this occasion without thinking of 10 ways things could go wrong, how the hell do any of you manage it...
  12. I ran into an... interesting team, to say the least. I think the score was 706, and it was a cav team with Gronnblade Cecilia, Reinhardt, Raudhrblade Leo, and Xander... At first I thought I was screwed. The map didn't have the greatest range of mobility (it was the map with the bridge with the 4 forts in the middle) and to ensure that each unit was killed, I'd have to separate my WE!Robin and WE!Tharja, which causes problems with getting them to move around. But then... I looked again. They ALL had TA3. I had thought only Cecilia had it, but no, aside from Leo with TA2, they all had TA3. That turned out to be the easiest match I had all day, plus it was worth a little more than other matches, so bonus. I unfortunately end this week with no Arena Defense wins... but I barely scrape by Arena offense. God, that was stressful...
  13. I'm not exactly sure if this is a "real" issue or not, but I'd at least like some input. A while ago, I made a post about making an ArmorApocalypse Soleil, and while I've not done anything to progress the making of such a unit (or any Armorbane units, really...), there is one somwehat pressing issue related to the topic: Giving Soleil the Armorsmasher+. It shouldn't be an issue, just promote a Hana or Caeda and pass it on, but that will cost feathers I could use getting the right Soleil to 5* sooner (and I am quite close to 20k feathers). But the issue is that I actually have a Caeda [+Def -Res] at 5* already, from months and months ago as a pity breaker. She's been lv 40ed, but she hasn't been built one bit since getting her aside from Wing Sword, which itself hasn't been refined. There are two ways I could go about this Caeda: ~Have my Soleil [+Atk -Res] inherit her Armorsmasher+ (and Rally Speed) for ArmorApocalypse build. Soleil will be a much stronger Armor Killer than Caeda, but without the benefit of Flier status, effectiveness against Cavalry, and the general bane of being an offensive-based Infantry Sword unit. ~Have this Caeda be merged into a different Caeda [+Atk -Res] whenever I make the time to build a proper Caeda. The merge result would give new Caeda the Wing Sword and default skills without spending SP, as well as HP/Spd +1 from merge levels. Issue here really being that Caeda won't be much without Flier Emblem, and even then might still under perform compared to Soleil. Yes @XRay I know I could just put TA on Armorbane units and run with that, but for personal reasons that have cropped since then, I'm adamant (stubborn? Probably more stubborn than adamant) about going through with Armorcrusher Soleil.

  15. You could try quad-Brave on a flier team. Brave Bow+, LnD3, and Speed +3 should bring her up to 50/46 offense with a Hone Fliers buff. It is a risky move since she does get hard-countered by bulky DC units, Dragons especially, and her somewhat limited bulk becomes worse with LnD3, making it harder to safely get to Desperation range without Reciprocal Aid/Ardent Sacrifice. But given that she is a flying bow user, she can still make effective work of the opposition she can initiate safely against. Of course you could keep Atk/Spd Bond to forego the loss in defense, but only so long as you remain next to someone.
  16. I kinda feel ANYONE can run FS+PSPS at this point. Precious gold rocks aside, I'd probably make my own Faye a Guard Bow user to if I could just get pity broken by not-Lyn and not-Brave Roy and get some more diverse skill fodder of the Distant Defense variety... Evil. Plain evil. I'm gonna have to have my Lucius police that Jakob for an extended period of time...

Y'all say Faye is Firesweep Trash, and others use Firesweep better, undeniable, yet I will remain stubborn and keep my first Faye (+Atk -Res) no matter how desperately I need another Firesweep Bow, because goddamnit I'm a freaking idiot. ...though I did fortunately have a spare Faye to feed my Hinoka.
  18. In looking again, it's probably because the angle in which Hinoka is standing in her Normal artwork is more revealing compared to her Kinshi artwork, which overall is much more front-facing.
  19. I can't believe I'm only now noticing this, but why the hell does Poison Strike 3 have the same SP cost as, for instance, Quick Riposte 3 or any of the Armor Fighter skills? Also Kinshi Hinoka's thighs seem a lot more covered up than her base form... curious...
  20. Purposeful limits and handicaps aren't exactly new in the gaming world, let alone in FEH. I personally go at my own pace in building my army, and that pace happens to be "free orbs most of the time, splurge every once in a while when I can afford to". And since my goal isn't to achieve consistent rank 20 in arena or anything, I feel like my pace works for me. In this kind of game, whatever works for you works, unless you share it to the internet, in which case expect at least three replies about why you are wrong.
  21. To be fair this was back when I had not as many 5* units, had little understanding of what the "best" for my units was (Cain had TA3. With a Brave Sword+ and total 40 Attack), and had none of the "good" units that others ran. In fact at the time the only "rare" unit I had was Hector, maybe Ninian if I'm remembering when I pulled her off-focus... I could have probably ran Bridelia if I had built her earlier, but I think my Bridelia was built sometime in August or July, after the TT ended...
  22. All TT rewards gotten... though it kinda feels like a hollow victory now that Tempest Trials are but a shell of the challenge they once were... Remember the first one? Veronica was a pain to take on, and she's the reason my Cain used to be built so weirdly.
  23. That makes sense. Most of the armors I encounter are in Arena Assault and usually are dealt with in a simple if somewhat tricky manor (I should maybe start throwing my nuke healers at them in thinking...) I wouldn't rely on keeping any allies near Hinoka at all, though Flier Guidance would help with that to some degree. I guess Swift Sparrow is there, but I'd rather put that on someone who actually has to worry about counterattacks... And yeah I guess Morgan never goes up against Greens... at all really. Plus ToD!Nowi handles them all anyways (6/6/6/6 is a glorious damage sight to see, but it also usually renders most targets dead before they can counterattack) Thanks for the help either way. I'll have to run with Attack +3 SS for now since I do need to upgrade Poison Strike SS, but I guess that also answers "What Sacred Seal should I work on next?"
  24. I do wish I didn't have to give up a personal weapon for it, but that's just what happens when both Hinokas I summoned just don't have good IVs whatsoever... I will take up the set (can't do Poison Strike 3 SS anytime soon, though fortunately 2 separate rounds of combat with Poison Strike 4 only misses the kill on Brave Ike, who I usually let ToD!Nowi take care of anyways). Should I maybe consider replacing Atk/Spd Bond with Life and Death since the defense drop really won't matter if the enemy can't counterattack? I might also need to replace Flier Guidance, as I'd be down a Fortify Fliers by replacing my Catria, which would slightly cripple my Morgans attack power (she is the only other Fort Fliers provider, and Blarblade will be weakened as a result)...
