No they don't. The only differences moveset wise between the clones that is a certainty are the musous. Chrom and Lucina are the same. The twins are the same. Not completely sure on the PKs since Cordelia's footage wasn't the clearest but they're most likely the same. Leo and Elise are most likely the same because of the fact that Sakura and Takumi are the same. The fact that Sakura has the same wind charge attack as Takumi despite (I'm assuming) being a light element user speaks volumes about how they're doing clone characters. The fire attack and wind attack that Leo uses in the Nohr trailer we can expect Elise to use as well.

Unfortunately Sakura looks to be a straight clone of Takumi. I'm assuming that all clones are going to be treated similarly. I guess we know what the developers were talking about when they said similar characters have different standing animations. The idle animations of Takumi and Sakura are different.

I need to see this gameplay for myself. I think I joined the stream just as it ended which is troll. We've only seen one combo from Elise which was the one charge attack that uses mjolnir. She could still be super similar to Leo.

I saw a Lucina with shield pulse, and quickened pulse on a team that had an infantry pulse user. The end result was a Lucina with a 1 turn cool down miracle.

Not sure I agree with this. Even if the cast is primarily sword users I don't think it encourages you to man full sword teams. Being at a disadvantage seems to have significant drawbacks, for example the enemies start blocking your attacks.

A viewpoint like yours is fine. I expect the Lyn fans to be happy about Lyn's inclusion, there's nothing wrong with that all. If she makes the game more appealing to you that's great. It's when it's taken to the extremes which then annoys me. For example, saying the game was complete garbage but Lyn makes everything better is infuriating.

This. The people who are saying that Lyn's inclusion redeems this game and are questioning why people are upset are the most annoying. Lyn being in because of 'lol popularity' shouldn't be at the expense of SD which is what it looked like was happening before Navarre got leaked. #ThankFuckForNavarre is very appropriate (and pretty funny) considering he probably prevented Lyn from getting treated way worse and has brought some hope among SD fans in regards to the leak

So I slept on it. Not as annoyed anymore. The things that bothered me about Lyn's inclusion is that it completely contradicts all logic and reasoning that the devs used to justify the roster choices. They wanted to focus on 3 games to avoid an influx of sword lords. This is reasonable and makes sense. They wanted to pick characters based on their relationships with others. Makes sense from a story standpoint. Then they add Lyn... I guess I shouldn't be taking what they say seriously anymore. Despite Lyn being a nonsensical addition, I'm glad she's in the game. The main thing I want from the game is for it to do well and if Lyn helps towards that then I won't get too hung up on how she may stick out during the story if she appears. An extended trailer of the fates reveal that features Lyn and Marth doing there awakening musou's.

...wtf is going on today. Lyn's in the game for God knows what reason. Nintendo themselves then leaked Caeda but that's not all since they also leaked Navarre. I need to sleep on this. My emotions are all over the place.

This probably the only character reveal that has upset me so far. Lyn has no business being in the game whatsoever. Wtf happened to the 'too many swords' argument that they used to justify their game selection. I seriously hope that she has no influence on the game's story and is just an extra character that can be used in other modes. I also hope that SD didn't get fucked like the leak is suggesting, I was excited to use some SD characters because I'm unfamiliar with them. No hype at all to use Lyn.

I have been paying close attention, thank you very much. The attack string shown is the exact same one that Takumi has from the demo's. Cordelia and Elise have already been discussed as probably being clones of Hinoka and Leo respectively, there's no bias against her here. Looking at the gameplay we have I don't expect Sakura to go full clone because the combo strings Takumi does I don't see Sakura replicating. Not like there's anything wrong with her being a clone in the first place because she'll be fun to play as regardless.

Leo being badass as per usual. Sakura being a clone of one of the most fun looking characters in the roster is a positive. Her awakening musou is also one of my faves so far for being really original.

I'm going to have to pass on this, I want to go into the game mostly spoiler free. I hope your stream goes well.

That conquest remix is the best

Damn Lianna you go girl. Definitely choosing her at the start. I'm liking the cutscenes and I especially like the little name introductions they've included.

I decided to support M!Robin, he's been my MVP since day 1 so it's only fitting. I've supported him with Chrom since they work well together, now their bonds will LITERALLY give them strength.

Same here it's pretty funny. The sakura model looks great and I'm interested to see what she plays like. We'll probably be getting a sakura trailer next and then followed up by a male corrin trailer

I accept most people but I get really frustrated during the gauntlets. If you screw me over in the gauntlet by having stupid leads then you're no ally of mine. Even if I do win a disadvantageous matchup, liabilities will be removed.

Does anyone think Jagen has a shot of being in?

Gamexplain's new video. The person playing isn't very good but it's some of the better quality footage out there. Xander's dual attack is at 3:30 and there is special dialogue between Camilla and Hinoka. Takumi is making me think that the skl stat determines how fast you get your musou attacks.

I don't mind criticism either as long as it's constructive and/or leads to healthy discussion. The opinions "I'm happy that Elise is in" or "I'm sad she's in" are both valid and related to topic at hand, however when followed up with a reason the latter can easily be invalidated. For example, if the reason is that a different fates,awakening or sd character has less of a chance of being added then the opinion is still valid. But if it's instead 'I don't like her, where's Gatrie' then the opinion is invalidated because at that point your problem doesn't lie with Elise being revealed,any other character could've been and you would still say the same thing, your problem is that a fates character got in over a different character not from the specified three games. The issue of character selection has already been discussed months ago, this isn't the place for that topic to be revived and if it's still a problem for you don't buy the game. Granted,for the person that you were defending they didn't specify whether they would've preferred a different character from awakening, sd or a different game so whether they should be jumped on immediately is still up in the air. However you can't blame people assuming for what their real problem was. People are ,rightfully, fed up with this complaint being brought up constantly and if you bring it up where it's not warranted then expect to draw their ire. And if said ire leads to the decrease of those complaints being brought up where they don't belong then I would say that the ends justify the means. I'm not saying that people can't have criticisms about the roster but bring those up when it's more appropriate and doesn't lead to derailing such as this.
