It's usually safe to assume that the only function an enemy thief serves is to attempt to pilfer any chests in the area and then retreat from the battle. However, there are some thieves that will merely attempt to steal items from you (the one in NLoC stands out...)
However, there are some exceptions, which will require that you play through the chapter to discover. The thief in Kinship's Bond will steal the Brave Axe and then 10,000 gold, and then head north toward downed Nils. I hate thieves honestly.

Why do people use headphones and then crank the volume all the way up? It makes no sense. If you're going to use headphones, isn't the purpose so that others can't hear what you are listening to?
I am making this rant because there are certain people in my life who will remain unnamed that are constantly guilty of this. Sometimes it gets so bad I can't even focus on what I'm listening to with my own headphones! It's even kept me from sleeping in the past!
This has been a public service announcement: if you're going to use headphones with other people around, make sure only you can hear the sound coming out.
This was me yesterday at the gym. And it'll be me today at the gym. So, I apologize in advance, but if you understood the circumstances you'd give me a free pass.
EDIT: Plus, how could you be mad when I'm blasting Access the Animus (remix) over and over again?

So you dated a skank, it happens to the best of us. I like my approach better, crying alone in dark rooms for a couple of months.
There was a time when I did that. Trust me when I say it feels much better to lift weights, blasting Access the Animus remix while you're so wired you can feel your heart beat in your throat.

Story time!
So, my girlfriend that broke up with me about a month ago got pissed at me for reasons that I don't feel like delving into. Anyway, she imparted me with the information that she fucked 2 guys about a week after we broke up. Oooo wee. That one stung. If anyone is ever in a situation like this, I recommend the following steps.
1) Go to 7-11, buy two 16 oz cans of Spike Shooter.
2) Go to a gym.
3) Chug said 1 Spike Shooter
4) Feel your heart in your throat, blast your ipod, and fucking LIFT LIKE YOU WERE BORN TO.
Anyway, I just finished my workout.
My hands are still shaking.
I'm about to go into a forest and find a bear to rip limb from limb.

A character can only have one status effect at a time. This means that you can be saved from a horrible effect like sleep by one that's mildly irritating, like silence. This happened to me on 4-F-1; Ike got sleep-staffed, then Lekain ended the enemy turn with the AOE silence effect, and Ike could move again on my turn.
Tibarn is left-handed, and his unshifted critical looks remarkably like a Falcon Punch.
Volug's unshifted avoid can be higher than Tibarn's shifted avoid, thanks to broken Earth supports.
As far as the dual wielding Altina goes, I could've sworn she had both swords in hand during that one scene she's visible. It seems like the other was in a reverse grip.
The character of Ike was based on Hector, the most popular FE lord in the US at the time.
As a realistic sword design, Ragnell/Alondite would be a nightmare to wield. Too blade-heavy to actually use.
If you position a flying unit over an unactivated hole tile in the bridge chapter, normal units can walk through the flyer-occupied space without triggering the hole trap.
Meg has got to be the only unattractive girl in the Fire Emblem series, unless you count Niime.
Ena can cap all her stats with nothing but bonus experience.
Kurthnaga MUST have Seraph Robe(s) to cap HP. He doesn't have enough levels otherwise.
Caineghis can cap every stat with four BEXP levels, but he needs two Ashera Icons and the Talisman to do so.

If (somehow) a Rogue manages to cap LCK in the second tier, they lose five points of it when they promote due to lower caps.
Oliver is the only playable character with his own battle theme that isn't a laguz royal.
Nailah is the only laguz royal NOT to have a unique battle theme.
Zelgius' distinctive sword in the cutscenes and character art is suspiciously absent from his fight with Ranulf.
Ranulf is heterochromatic.
Despite Nasir's description of dragon-tribe battle rage, none of the recruitable dragons are driven mad during the final chapter.
With a Brave Sword, Adept, +4 speed advantage, and Astra, it is possible for a Trueblade to have 40 attacks in one round. (2*2*2*5)
With careful use of Reyson, shoving, and long-range magic tomes, it is possible to beat 3-8 (the castle-defense level with Lombroso, if I got the number wrong) in one turn, while still obtaining the Energy Drop.

Well, first of all, if you're playing HHM the first thing you're gonna find out is that you are gonna have to use Marcus. Yup. I found that out the first time I played HHM, and it was the first time I ever leveled him up past level 1.
The team you have is solid, though I would definitely recommend dropping someone for Raven. Raven has awesome growths as well as HHM bonuses for being an enemy. You probably will also want to end up using either Sain or Kent. If you're doing LHM beforehand (which you definitely should) then you should spend all of your time training only one of those two instead of both. Paladins are awesome in FE7. In fact, FE7 is pretty much the last game where paladins are awesome.

Yeah, eff this. I'm too busy being miserable at college to even attempt to beat Crazed Beast, and when I did try and beat it I got screwed by shitty luck. I'm gonna be out of commission for a while.

I brought a few things to college with me this year to entertain myself. 1 of those things was a Gameboy, which which I brought a few games. 2 of which were the Golden Sun games.

When I was 17 years old, I started dating a girl for the first time. She was a great girl, 16 years old. It was my senior year of high school. I eventually turned 18, and she eventually turned 17. We broke up about 2 months ago. I was happy, I told her I was in love.
But seriously, what did it mean? The word love is stupid. I was never smacked in the face by *love* so to speak. I broke up with her, and now I'm single. I hooked up with another girl like a month after breaking up. I thought it would make me happy.
It didn't. I made the biggest mistake of my life.
Congrats IET, I hope what you and her have is genuine.

Here at my cousin' party, and everyone here is really annoying. My mom keeps asking if I ever want to leave here, but I keep saying no and stop asking. Apparently my other cousins thinks this is me being sassy and being annoying attention whores by looking at dumb videos that aren't funny, and flame me for not thinking there not funny, call me a boring prick and say I should get killed and would personally like it if they did it themselves. Oh and all the little kids try being smart by swearing and think all boring people read, watch manga and play fire emblem(in other words, most people here.).
So anyone have fun on their Sunday? :)

Hehe Linus' map is probably harder than Lloyd's. Linus is a pushover, but THE FUCKING WYVERN KNIGHTS AND BOLTING SAGE aren't. seriously, those guys piss me off. but yay, I got Geitz, so its all better now. Florina and Heath and Canas had to be promoted for this chapter to even be possible.

Eliwood still sucks, Geitz is now my most durable unit.
I'm curious, what level were the aforementioned units when you promoted them? I'm getting rather tempted to start promoting some of my units.
