Link and Zelda in Spirit Tracks was love at first sight as well. Speaking of which, congrats to Link and Zelda for winning silver. Since this is an FE forum, I was not expecting it to bring home the gold, but it did extremely well. Of course, Link and Zelda would've won if Corrin and Felicia didn't split the vote

Ah yes, the debut of Madara: an interesting character, but sadly a boring invincible villain. Though at least he wasn't too absurdly powerful in his debut. Some good action and choreography overall.

Okay song, good animation. I had to turn down my volume for the first ten seconds of it though because it was quite loud at the start.

Interesting song. Normally I'm fine with listening to a song that's in a language I don't understand, but this one really makes me wish I knew what they were saying. Just to be clear, that's not a statement of its quality; just its particular tune.

Interesting song. I've never played the game that it's from, but it's a neat song.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity announced (NSW, Releases 11.20.2020)

That could definitely work; having Kohga's great-grandfather in the game as a major antagonist and a more serious and overall better Yiga Clan boss than his grandson. There's a lot of potential there. Side Note: For some reason, when I think, "more serious Yiga Clan leader", I think of a Zelda/Yiga Clan version of this guy from Naruto: Might be the mask, might be that I'm thinking, "no-nonsense ninja villain" and he springs to mind because of that. -

I wonder if there will be a major villain of some kind (besides Calamity Ganon obviously) or if we'll just be fighting hordes of his minions. Since there's the Yiga Clan, maybe we'll see Master Kohga's predecessor? Perhaps he'll be less of a joke than Kohga? -
Great song; makes me weirdly both sad and happy because my first playthrough was Crimson Flower, so my first playthrough was the one where Byleth does reach for her hand. I know a lot of videos I've posted have been anime openings, but this one in particular I think is worth watching:
-
Impressive. Something about a piano and Zelda music makes me feel nostalgic and almost wanting to cry... Speaking of Zelda: Palutena, there is nothng, "mere" about that mortal.

Is this the same video you showed me a while ago? Decent song, some funny visuals, and some visuals that I'm guessing make more sense in context. Overall, a decent anime opening.

It's over 4 minutes (the person who made the topic said to either only post videos under four minutes or tell the person to watch a specific segment of the video). The instrumentation is fine, but the voices sound like they're trying to impersonate Arnold Schwarzenegger while wearing Bane's mask from the third Dark Knight movie. Since I've returned to review and post videos, I can't think of a more fitting video than this one because of the song's title:

Zelda 35th Anniversary - Speculation/Discussion

That could work, and it could be very interesting. That said, multiple Yiga Masters would mean that each one probably wouldn't get that much characterization and I personally would prefer one antagonist that gets more attention and characterization. But that's just me; your idea would also be good. -

I never said it was an insurmountable problem; just that it is a problem that would have to be addressed. Anyway, this Hyrule Warriors game looks like it could be very good. For a long time, I've wanted a Zelda that had grander battles, Hyrule Castle under siege and stuff like that; basically everything I thought Twilight Princess could've done to some extent. I never got Hyrule Warriors though. This game looks a lot more interesting to me. -

The problem with that is that the five-year interval plays out differently depending on if you sided with Edelgard or not. Rhea avoids capture and escapes to Fhirdiad in the Crimson Flower route; preventing Cornelia's coup and preserving the Kingdom of Fearghus. -
Zelda 35th Anniversary - Speculation/Discussion

I didn't mind it either; I just think the idea of evil Sheikah presents too good an opportunity for a serious villain to pass up. If you've seen Naruto, imagine something sort-of like (spoilers) I agree that it would be great to see the Yiga Clan be fleshed out a little more. It would also be interesting to see if Ganon is even aware of their existence (probably not). If he isn't, then it would be interesting to see him find out about their existence in BOTW2; maybe even have him form an alliance with Kohga's successor or something like that, and that could contribute to them becoming a bit more serious. -

You're welcome. By the way, what do you think of the idea of potentially having a more serious Yiga Clan boss either in this game or BOTW2? -

The "Hero is defeated" timeline is not the timeline that contains Wind Waker and its sequels. The "hero is defeated" timeline contains all the pre-Ocarina games, the Oracle games and A Link Between Worlds. The Adult Timeline contains Wind Waker and its sequels. -

Given that this game seems to be more focused on telling a story than BOTW, I don't think it will have an open world. There will probably be a bit more exploration in this game, but I don't think it'll try to be an open world game. By the way, what do you think of the points I raised about the Yiga Clan?
