  1. There's zero cavalry tanks and only one flying tank: Flanagan Grutte, and Flanagan, in my experience, isn't a very good unit. I believe they're referring to his movement, which is 4 tiles and thus is on the lower end but still fairly normal.
  2. Yeah; it is surprisingly easy. That's the reason I said it was a lot more time-consuming than actually grueling. Something like chapter 7 if you choose to protect Roland without using the fire traps is properly grueling; this just felt designed to feel like a big fight by having a ton of enemies. However, that certain baddy unit does still have an attack where they can attack every unit within a really wide range that has at least 3TP, which was annoying since the healer I used in that mission was Medina. It's not as strong as the kind of attack that you were talking about, but it combined with there being two of that unit on the map made it really annoying at times. Speaking of that baddy unit, Decimal had unique dialogue with it (well, really monologue since only Decimal speaks) that was rather neat. Yeah; the kid is in the ending picture. I'm fortunate in that I knew who they were even though I hadn't recruited them. It's probably a case of the game's developers assuming that the player won't find the golden route on their first playthrough. The irony is that, the more I think about it, the more I think that, even if I hadn't already known about the golden ending, I probably still would've made the choices that I made. Yet another reason I think the golden ending should've been unlocked through decisions made in the story without the scales, rather than by just happening to pick the correct branches.
  3. That could definitely work. Although, isn't Thales a cavalry unit when he's pretending to be Arundel?
  4. Thales is a villain that I could easily see being playable as a bonus/postgame character; he's a main villain and he has access to unique spells like quake that could easily set him apart. I'd say 5/10 likelihood. My question is: if he were to be playable, would it be as Thales or as "Arundel"?
  5. I don't remember the exact score I gave Mercedes in likelihood, but I do remember most of us thinking that she at least had some chance on account of her being Jeritza's sister, so it's not exactly "flipping the script". You do have a point though that a lot of us probably thought this game would have a smaller cast than it actually will have.
  6. I could see Anna appear as a bonus character if for no other reason than it's Anna; the recurring FE character. I'd say 6/10. At this rate, we might have to start rating the likelihood of joke characters even outside of April Fools Day.
  7. Good on him for keeping the cutscenes fast-paced and not get stuck in unnecessarily-long dialogue... I guess; I haven't played the game. I'd like to stress that the following video was a satirical video that was posted on April Fools Day:
  8. I see. For me, my opinion of a show won't worsen because of a bad OP, but a good OP definitely helps a show. Incidentally, for every show with more than two OPs, there is only one that I can think of where I enjoyed every single one: Black Clover. Thirteen OPs so far, and not a single one that made me want to skip it. That said, there are other anime that have come close: Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood: five OPs, and I enjoyed four of them (I didn't enjoy OP2).
  9. That would make sense. Ah; that makes sense. I'd have to watch the character story again to confirm, but you might be right about it not having been during the saltiron war. I was definitely considering using Ezana as well. I do not have Quahaug on my team (unlocking him requires 1,600 utility, and utility is my lowest stat). By the way, I recently replied to something you said a while back about Gustadolph's decision in the golden route. I just completed the final mission of the golden route. Since I finished my playthrough, I suppose I should give my review of the game overall. I suppose the best way I could sum it up would be that it's very frustrating, yet at the same time very fun. Now just to decide if I'm going to actually try new game+. Probably not, but I'm not usually one to try new game+.
  10. Right; I forgot that it was you that I spoke to about it (I need to remember to double-check that stuff).
  11. Have you looked at the anime 86 EIGHTY-SIX? It's really good and it recently finished the second half of its first season.
  12. I'm only double-posting because the forum won't let me edit my first post for some reason. I finished chapter 20 of the golden route; now, only the last mission remains...
  13. I recently saw the 1993 animated Batman film: Batman: Mask of the Phantasm for the first time. I have not seen Batman: the Animated Series; I grew up with the cartoon that came after it: The Batman (no relation to the new film). Fortunately, I didn't have to have seen the animated series; the film stands on its own as a really good self-contained story. It does something no other theatrical Batman film does: it actually presents a mystery that the audience is capable of solving with the information given, and it's a pretty good mystery with plenty of interesting twists. Other than that, I've largely been watching anime, and I think there's already a topic for anime specifically.
  14. To be fair, I didn't say a lot of competition; I said strong competition. Petra and Seteth are strong competition. I will admit that "strong competition" generally means "a lot of competition", but I really was thinking less in terms of the numbers and more in terms of the other wyvern rider characters being more likely than him.
  15. Cyril is unpopular, though he's unpopular enough that they might include him in an attempt to redeem him. He has plenty of options for class, but a lot of them have strong competition, especially his default class (wyvern rider). Overall, I'd say 5/10
  16. I honestly don't see any of the Adrestian NPCs as very likely, partly because they're NPCs, but also because I don't remember them doing much. Granted, so far I've only played Crimson Flower and Verdant Wind, but all I remember about Randolph is him dying offscreen in the former and Ladislava mentioning his offscreen death just before she herself dies. Randolph and Ladislava each get a 3/10 from me. Metodey gets a 1/10 from me simply because I'm not going to give a 0/10 for anyone. I have no idea who Baron Ochs is; I'm guessing he's DLC. I'll give him a 1/10 as well.
  17. …Is this part of an audio book? What is this?
  18. EDIT: @Etrurian emperor I just completed chapter 19 of the golden route and I am midway through chapter 20.
  19. Fair enough. I wasn't really referring to specific class, but you're correct in that her being of the lord class could present a different moveset and all that.
  20. Judith... for a moment there, I almost thought we had already looked at her chances of being in the game. She is fairly well-liked, and she does have some importance as one of Claude's biggest allies in the Alliance. She does have some strong competition when it comes to a swordmaster unit though in Felix and Petra. Overall, I'd say 6/10.
  21. Interesting. I found making the choice in that chapter extremely easy, but liberty and morality were very high. For me, it was the previous chapter that nearly cost me the golden route: Personally, I think this game would've been better if the conviction values didn't matter when it came to persuading characters; it should've come down entirely to gathering the right info and choosing the correct dialogue options for persuasion. I also think it would've been better, both thematically and in gameplay, if the requirements for unlocking the golden route were all decisions the player made outside of the scales-of-conviction decisions, rather than just happening to pick the correct routes. Anyway, I just beat part 3 of chapter 18 of the golden route.
  22. …Who again? A... cher... on... Acheron... Acheron... …Oh, yeah; Acheron; that guy who always ends up on the wrong side of history in every route. Yeah; if they're going to make a joke out of his character, it would probably be through him either always running away or from him showing up only to immediately run away; not through making him a playable character. I said I don't give 0/10, so I'm giving him 1/10. Technically there's a chance of him being a playable character, in much the same way that there's technically a chance that I could be the next James Bond after winning a marathon while wearing snowshoes.
  23. Interesting video. I'm guessing that this was part of some sort of study on meerkats. Here's a classic scene from a classic Batman film: Batman: Mask of the Phantasm.
  24. Sothis... I honestly have no idea. Since she's basically a part of Byleth, part of me wants to say it's unlikely that she would be playable separately. However, I could see it, perhaps as a bonuc character or something like that. Overall, I guess I'd say 6/10.
  25. Ah, I see. Thanks. …How does that represent me?
