This reminded me that having both kids with Azura would force the story to last at least a year and a half, since I was wondering where Shigure was, and was thinking "Shouldn't he be in the crate, since he's the eldest?" and "He's male, Kanna's female, and Bart's male?" But there's obviously no logic in Fates, so why am I looking for logic in a joke about it? On a side note, who wants to make a list of Fates characters corresponding them to a Simpson character? Bart is Kanna Shigure would be Lisa Nohrrin would be Homer Azura would be Marge, And marge's sisters who are always smoking would be Takumi and Oboro I guess?

This is just a random idea I had that I got from my history classes as of late, but 1. Maybe something about deflation happening with crops prices in Hoshido since they have so much. 2. Make Ryouma a good-natured guy who is constantly lied to about state affairs and such by other government officials who want to make him a puppet king so they can go about their agendas unopposed, like unfair taxes and just general racism against Nohr. This would explain why he's clueless about Nohr. With this, you could build a basis for a resistance in Hoshido who's in favor of an alliance with Nohr, both to fix the deflation issue and just to avoid a war where thousands could die. You could also have characters who just oppose the nobility in general and are only in the resistance to start their own rule.

This is like the 5th time this video has been reposted. For Pete's sake people, read the thread before posting stuff. I'm getting tired of all the reposts.

Surprised that no one has mentioned any of the the Hoshido siblings S-Support with Corrin. "Mom wrote a letter before she died saying it's okay for us to bang." Way to go against the theme of the game, IS. And I know Corrin joins Hoshido because it's the right thing to do. But it just seems stupid when you consider how Fates was advertised.

Eh, the problem is less why Corrin fought for Nohr, (though it's still a problem), and more how he objected to the crap Nohr was doing by pouting like a little bitch. As a warning to you, a good debate on this isn't going to happen without spoilers. So I suggest reading the So why exactly do people call Conquest Corrin an idiot?(Conquest spoilers) Thread to catch up on why many hate the story.

Gothic horror kind of seems incompatible with the atmosphere of the series so far, plus the writers would probably just make it some crappy Twilight clone. The closest I think it got to that were the early trailers and ads for Fates. But if I were to put aside my lack of fate(no pun intended) in the writers, perhaps some kind of trilogy where the setting is basically the real world, only with magic, with the focus of the series being how the inclusion of magic would affect the development of history. I don't know exactly what sections I would have them focus on, but I'm thinking maybe at least the Victorian era, if only to have a steampunk fire emblem game. And the MC would be a Manakete so we could experience the passage of history through his eyes. Or maybe a reverse of the FE formula, where the MCs are the evil dragons, only they're not evil as so much human in the sense they have sympathetic motives. Like maybe they trying to find a cure for their madness, and as a result, they end up conquering other nations in the hopes that of the resources they gain in doing so, they will find one that will help them find a cure.

On a side note, would anyone be opposed if I posted some links to some funny FE fics I found? I can't really find anymore memes, plus these might inspire a meme or two. Warning though, they're both Awakening fics, since Fate fics are in short supply on Fanfiction.net. Well, the ones that aren't a retelling of the story.

That said, I think i found the exception to my "no humor in the scene unless it was already there" rule. And that is the english version of Selena's and Laslow's support where she gave him a taste of his own medicine. In the jap, she just stared at him. In the english, the contrast between how she usually acts and how she's acts when she pretends to flirt is really funny.
