Then Hardin charged forward with Michalis's Iote Shield (how'd Jake get it anyway?) and killed everything. Other than that, it was just dreading the next chapter. CHAPTER 23 - 7/127 TURNS this chapter is so lame Marth could at least tank two swarms. I fed Jake 3 energy drops, 3 books, and 3 speedwings, only to find he can't double. Oh well. ENDGAME - 3/134 TURNS JAKE MVP MEDEUS SO CHUMP. http://youtu.be/2q5IbmgfSRw Unit summary: Honestly was pretty ok. Like not that useful or anything, but not a hinderance. He got a couple nice levels early, and never looked back. He's Jeigan! BEST MEATSHIELD EVER He's so good in the first two chapters he exists in that the rest of his performance while still above average almost doesn't matter. kinda made me rage since he had negative durability, but once he had gradivus it was fine as he generally could live one ep. typical lategame gradivus dood. fuck you matthis that's with two speedwings godammit why did I even bother once he promoted he wasn't too bad though yeah whatever it was slim pickings and he chipped a few dudes SO GOOD Ballisticians are like siege tome users on steroids if they have stats or forges. They're such a good class. stats irrelevant I really like his class too, its pretty neat. He became a thief when needed, then helped out in endgame! healed xane in endgame then died to a ballista. Purpose was served. I missed Nagi but she also died to the same ballista in endgame. Well drafting again was fun. And for my next doublepick give me Samson and Arran unless somebody takes them for some reason, in which case give me whoever.
  2. I STARTED BECAUSE ALL THE OTHER DOODS ARE USELESS CHAPTER 1 - 7/7 TURNS Jeigan CHARRGED, while Cain and Abel also did so. Abel died. It was worth it. Gordin also died as a valiant sacrifice. Shiida lured the north pirates away so I wouldn't have to deal with them. Marth picked up Jeigan's scraps and got a couple of levels. I've actually missed drafting :( Jeigan healed on the second fort, then on turn 6 engaged the boss at full health, allowing him to solo him without death happening. Pretty much all that happened was a massive CHARRGE up the middle, with some sacrifices (Cord died, and I think so did Castor, but Castor might have lived on 1 health). Thankfully Shiida could tank a hit from the hunter, it made things much easier. I had to use the savepoint to ensure Ogma dodged a 47, but such is life. Jeigan and Ogma teamed up on the boss. Marth did very little. Ogma ended up in the super far left spawn of chapter 3 as well, that might save a turn. He ran ahead, and ORKO'd a hunter on turn 2, and then killed all 2/3 fighters the next turn (even if all three hit they didn't KO) He killed the remaining hunter on turn 3, Marth killed the Fighter than Ogma failed to kill, and Jeigan lured the north Steel Axe fighter, whom Marth finished next turn. Jeigan vulneraired and sat by the boss with his silver lance, I could have given the bosskill to Jeigan without risk, but I used the savepoint to feed it to Ogma, Jeigan had to dodge 1 of 2 57's or something. Recruited Navarre for his sword.   5. Honestly I expected to 4 turn chapter 11, which gave Ewan a lot more Staff exp since he wouldn't be needed for combat, but yeah, I don't see him hitting A Staves in time for chapter 16. Natasha and Artur will probably have to make do, although their magic stats are kind of lame. I probably won't be able to 1 turn, but 2 turns will happen at worst. Another thing I thought of earlier too was Knoll might promote to Eirika lord, which would be pretty funny since he'd still be able to use Dark Magic. Anyway, here's chapter 11: http://youtu.be/fj9cKkjQUNA EDIT: I'd need either Natasha or Artur to get 24 magic which is uh, 12 levels or 8 magic levels and both energy rings, so I don't think that's gonna happen. Hopefully taking a turn extra allows me to get some of the other cool stuff like purge which will help in chapter 18, maybe even saving a turn there. If everything goes according to plan, I think I can pull off a 58 turn clear.

NPC Garcia saves all the turns.
  7. he can also rescue hector and stuff but that's irrelevant to most players actually I think he can rescue everyone bar Merlinus in the game! I think he's also the only promoted unit that can do so.
  8. well they always attack units that can't counter (like cecilia and shin on one of the turns) but I thought that was normal, even though they could have oneshotted Niime I think, I forget if she took a robe edit: she didn't take a robe so was definately oneshotted also woohoo you won and stuff since the last chapter is easy. Have any other runs planned?

  14. don't you just put marth on the water tile on turn 1, and dance him across the river? This is assuming you gave him the boots, which i'm sure is required.

It should really be the opposite I think, like sure, there should be some inscentive for completing maps a little faster, but if you're already struggling to keep up, and you're missing out on good weapons and more characters, its just gonna cause you to struggle more. But i'm not opposed to reimplementing the ranking system, I thought it was a different way to play the game (even if the funds rank was misleading and the tactics rank was too lenient)
  16. When I first started chapter 9, I was like YEAH LETS 2 TURN THIS WITH A DANCER but turns out that's easier said then done... In fact I didn't save any villages! Well I could have gotten an extra rapier, but is that really worth it? Syrene faces a pretty high chance of death, and I actually had to break her silver sword on the enemy phase so she could counter some archers with the javelin, but all was good. Amelia almost hit level 10 (she should next chapter) and Cormag and Ewan can promote when needed. Lute joins next chapter too, with mageknight access, so that should be a fun time. I'm gonna try to stuff enough levels down Gerik's throat to promote him, its pretty easy to get him kills and his offensive bases are really good. Ephraim only needs a level and a half to promote into his mount, and Forde well, we'll see how he ends up doing. I should probably give him kills instead of Tana. Finished in three turns. Her stats are half decent too! EDIT: Just noticed Tana also has less con than normal... 4 con pegasus ftw Chapter 11 is gonna be hard to 3 turn, but with some help from GARCIA on the boss, I think it's possible. I just need to figure out how to get Ewan far enough ahead while having someone (Amelia/Syrene/Cormag) in range of the doogs so they get OHKO'd. If I could only find my video of it in vanilla...

  18. The fire dragon can do 40 damage on if he proc's an extra point of strength in HHM and OHKO Athos, but if you're that worried just save the 28x robe for athos, and he's golden. Canas is in danger of being doubled by the dragon anyway. EDIT: Meant Canas won't double the dragon anyway.
  19. A 4 turn is possible but promoted Cormag will definately make that one turn up, three turn is impossible since Syrene can't orko Tirado and uh, I don't think there's enough movement anyway. The five turn required a promoted Franz in vanilla, so you're working with one more movement, and your Lord could just be dropped in the throne room to kill Tirado on her own, and obviusly Knoll would have some issues doing so... It's not possible to three turn at all, and the four turn would require Syrene having another level that'd be impossible for her to get, since even with 5 strength procs she doesn't ORKO Tirado. I don't think Ewan's magic will be a problem, there are still two energy rings, so he effectively has 17 magic, so he needs 6 more magic levels before chapter 16, and other units like Lute/Artur will have ~15-16 magic pretty easily and should be able to warp lategame, and Natasha has 12 base and B Staves, so she'll be hitting warp on time as well. But the main thing is Ewan got Luck AND Res twice, so that's important. Tana will probably be used still, its just she didn't need to hit any stat benchmarks, and other than Ewan's and other units magic stats, I don't really care what the level ups are anymore, Cormag is more or less already set for lategame, and other lategame guys like Ross and Franz don't really need levels anyway. oh, I also didn't post chapter 8. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5_KtTXdFsM&list=UUcp11fr85Q1lEVSEHtv53pA
