  1. When I was maybe 11 or 12 years old, I had a dream where I was at my Grandparent's (now former)house standing on the front deck when I saw something scurry under. I got down to look for what ever was there and I found a raccoon the size of a person, I tried running away, but it jumped on me and clawed out my neck. The dream ended there and I still have no idea why I had the dream to this day, I'm not even scared by it, it was just bizarre.
  2. This is what meaningful conversation about Fates between two best friends looks like. (Oops accidental double post, remove please)

  4. I guess it could count if you want to look at it that way, but I was thinking we could have a finale driven solely by something like political interests, conflicting ideologys, or perhaps revenge. A good example of what I'm visualizing could be taking the concept of Lyn's prologue in FE7 only fleshed out and blown up in a full game(other than that the fact that it's a tutorial). I feel Fire Emblem could be a great series to have personal human drama stories as the main plot, but I guess determining the fate of the world is just tradition at this point so who knows if we'll ever see a change of pace.
  5. Mounted units (Cavalry, Pegasus, Wyverns) are the best type of unit in any game. TMS#FE is a great game and needs a sequel. The majority Fates characters are underrated. There should be a FE game where the climax doesn't involve dragons/demons/gods.
  6. I am a big fan of classic hard rock/heavy metal, probably my favorite kind of music period. I'm a particularly big fan of bands like AC DC, Queen, Lead Zeppelin, KISS, and Metallica to name a few. Also as a side recommendation(and since we're on a video game forum) if you haven't heard the soundtrack of Guilty Gear Xrd you have not lived! I'll add a few links here too it:
  7. I think the reason people aren't too keen on Bakugo is because he's portrayed as a near 24/7 rage machine with no explicit explanation as to why, characters like that can really turn people off because they want redeeming qualities that aren't shown, But I think later on Bakugo will get some development to explain his vicious personality. However, before I sound like plus ultra smarty pants I have to admit that I have mixed feelings about the guy myself. I can't say I truly like Bakugo, but Clifford Chaptin's acting so good that I can help but laugh whenever he start's going ballistic. (P.S. I'll watch the show both subbed and dubbed depending on what's free on Funimation)
  8. I'd say Takumi and Camilla are the most likely candidates because Fates makes Nintendo money. Virion and Chereche would be my personal (realistic) wish for the reveal, however I think we've seen enough Awakening characters at this point that it's time for a little mix up. So if your excited for more Fates love good on you! Here's something to keep you entertained while we wait for the reveal: https://youtu.be/JEGMugGg_KA
  9. Now that you mention it that is weird, maybe it's because it's considered a mutation and thus apart of her natural physical form? Perhaps it's only affecting her ability to create blinding flashes? I guess we'll never know without an in universe explanation/retcon later on.
  10. I'm surprised nobody else has posted on this yet seeing as how popular the show is, but anyways that's off topic here are some of my favorite quirks. All Might (One For All): I'm a sucker for heroes who can just punch through any opposition because it's like a metaphor for the inner strength with in all humans, and All Might combines that with an uncompromising will to do good and it makes me want to cheer every time he does battle against evil (no really I've watched the Nomu fight at least five times). Invisible Girl (Transparency): My Hero Academia is full of instantly recognizable character designs that are so good that the one character who's power is the absence of a design comes of as extremely endearing to me. However I'm still not sure if 24/7 Transparency would be the best or worst superpower to live with, but I think it sound fun so let's go with the former. Shoto (Half-Cold Half Hot): It's always been a toss up weather I like fire or ice more as a superpower, and surprise surprise when Todoroki has access to both it's incredibly awesome! This one is a favorite mostly because of the shear spectacle it's capable of creating in animation, and there's nothing wrong with that is there? Red Riot (Hardening): Simplistic? Yes. Practical? Absolutely. The phrase the best offence is a good defense has never been truer with Kirishima's Hardening powers, further more it's probably a perfect fit for a hot head like Kirishima so that he can survive a fight long enough to eventually take a step back and rethink his battle strategy. Tenya (Engine): The Engines in Tenya's calves are probably one of the most unique superpower concepts I've seen in a long time, though that could be said for many of My Hero Academia's Quirks. I love the little details that surround how they work, such as how they are fueled by orange juice and soda will cause them to malfunction, which aligns with Tenya's personality so well that it's actually kind of funny. It's just a fun quirk that Tenya has made good use of so far and I really want to see how far they can push it's limits in the future because it has a lot of potential.
  11. I'll find a song from the modern era that I like occasionally, but for the most part I'd say I'm suck in the 70's and 80's as well. Maybe it's because that's just what I was raised listening to thanks to my older family members, but whatever the case may be I totally understand where you're coming from.
  12. Hopefully we'll get at least one of those choices, but honestly I won't hold my breath. It's pretty clear Nintendo is looking to please what they think is the lowest common denominator and unfortunately they think it's the wifu hunting communities, but hey maybe we'll get Basilio and Flavia to fill the SJW quota attached to everything these days so... yay?
  13. 2 days ago I had pretty much no free time, now I have too much free time and that bugs me a little. Also the lawnmower's out of gas.
  14. I have quite a few E and E10 games from my younger years, but as of late I seem to be buying T rated games almost exclusively mostly because I've gotten something of a fighting game craze going on right now, but no amount of Street Fighter and Guilty Gear has stopped me from picking up a game like Stardew Valley (and you should too).
  15. War for the Planet of Tom and Jerry Tom and Jerry: Iron Blooded Orphans The Hobbit: Desolation of Tom and Jerry Tom and Jerry: Mask of the Phantasm Mr. Tom goes to Jerryngton Tom and Jerry: Generation Why Tom and Jerry: Rise of the Silver Surfer The LEGO Tom and Jerry Movie Tom and Jerry Chronicles X Tom and Jerry Souls I need to stop myself before this gets out of hand.
  16. I know I'm a little late posting this, but I've seen what Ice can do first hand and let me tell you I was no match for him, not by a long shot. I hope you had a great time at EVO because buddy you earned it.
  17. This game came out of nowhere at it looks AWESOME! The inclusion of Ruby Rose absolutely blew me away, I can't wait to see how Arcsys handles her as a guest fighter. However will put it out there that the lack of Guilty Gear characters feels like a huge opportunity lost I my opinion, but I think there is still time to add a few if the game is still very early in development, and if not hopefully DLC? Regardless I've definitely got my eye on this game, being a fan of Blazblue and RWBY this is looking to potentially be dream game material.
  18. How could I forget about Reyn's Gun lance? That is a great choice! It's definitely the most unconventional weapon in the main party and it's certainly one of the most practical.
  19. Straight answers: Vi's Hex-tech Gauntlets from League of Legends, Zero's Z-Saber from Mega Man Zero, and Captain America's Shield from Marvel Comics. Unorthodox answers: Unarmed combat/Martial arts from just about anything, and Skells from Xenoblade Chronicles X. The "I'm really stretching the definition of a weapon" answer: The filibuster from Mr. Smith Goes to Washington.
  20. I haven't seen DBZ before so this shouldn't really grab my attention, but I have played Guilty Gear and I absolutely LOVE Guilty Gear so I'm actually really interested in it. Although I think I'll wait and see how much DBZ lore I need to know going into it before deciding if it's worth investing money into, but still, I've got my eye on this one.
  21. I might have to back out as well because I checked my schedule and I'm going to be really busy in June. July also might be hard to do since I might try out for summer theater. Sorry I spoke too soon.
  22. Sounds like fun, but before I sign up, how many slots are still open for each campaign?
  23. DUUUUDE! Welcome to the forest! I'm a big fan of your work on shows like "MSG: Iron-Blooded Orphans", "Mob Psycho 100", and "Your Lie in April". I haven't played Shadows of Valentia yet, but from what I've heard in promotional material you sound as strong as ever in you performance. I'll pop by the stream if I can, tomorrow's going to be busy for me.
