Ignoring Takumi, I find it strange how Kamui is so much more torn up by the invasion of Hoshido than Aqua. She shows little to no emotion to the fact that she's getting all of the people killed/hurt that took care of her/treated her well. Makes her come of as ungrateful and selfish. From what i've seen of Birthright they are basically two different characters. Don't know if that makes Hoshido!Corrin a good character or a less shitty character than Nohr!Corrin.

I'm playing Tales of the Abyss on the 3DS, i'm really enjoying it. Wanted to play it long ago when it was on PS2 but it wasn't released in EU(lol), and i only recently got a 3DS so now i can finally play it. Pokken Tournament just came out and that looks interesting as well.

I believe we will get the DLC in the same intervals as NA gets them starting after the release date. I think that's also the case with Revelation's release(for those who don't have the SE).

Well that also depends on which country within the EU you live in. Some countries seem to have no info at all regarding the SE.

It's this thing called rabid fans. They throw away all their standards to defend something they like, instead of admitting that some aspects of it are simply bad. I've even seen someone on this forum say the ending of Conquest is an overall positive resolution to the war.

That's true about chapter 14, but i was asking for an example of Leo not correcting Kamui when possible. Which i don't think ever was the case. I also like Leo, he's one of my favorites from Nohr. How he would be as MC would indeed depend on how the story is altered. I didn't want to spoil myself too much on Birthright's story so i watched an LP of Conquest, that's what got me itching to vent about it on here lol. But while there are a lot of things wrong with the writing, Fates definitely looks like an overall great game. The gameplay looks amazing and has a lot of depth and replay value and great supports. If only EU got the game already, i would be playing the game instead flooding this place with my thoughts. I should actually be staying away from this forum, it's only making the wait worse lol.

Well you're right that pretty much everything has been said already, at this point i'm just responding to arguments i haven't seen before. We can agree to disagree, my opinion still remains the same. Conquest's writing is a big pile of shit and so far, the people trying to defend it haven't been able to convince me otherwise. I don't know everything about Revelations yet but the thought if it being worse than Conquest is pretty terrifying. Which mistakes though?

Can you give an example? I don't remember Leo ever being in a position to correct Kamui's stupid plans. Your argument is basically ''Revelations is worse, so stop complaining and be positive''. Am i getting that right?

Which name do you like better? I'm also curious how many people are using either one as the name for their MU. I find myself accidentally switching between the names when discussing the character on this forum. It's confusing when someone calls him/her Kamui and someone else calls him/her Corrin lol.

Can two units get A+ support with the same character? For example, you give Setsuna an A+ support with Hana to get her Samurai class. Can you then also give Felicia an A+ support with Hana to give her the samurai class as well? I hope that made sense lol.

Whether it's a good or bad idea is not relevant to what i'm saying. A smart coward is still a coward(not that kamui's smart but you get the point). As for the other stuff, the writers really didn't handle the Nohr siblings well when it comes to their view on Garon's actions. Leo says he acts behind Garon's back to protect innocents but we never hear his opinion on the invasion of Hoshido. Camilla doesn't care about anything as long as Kamui remains unharmed. And Elise....does she even say anything relevant. All 3 of them don't ever share their opinion on the invasion iirc. Xander does object to Garon's actions, but at the end of the day his motto remains ''If you say so daddy''.

I agree, Sumeragi bringing a little child to the ''peace meeting'' is incredibly stupid and dumb, and is the start of everything. But in the end, it's just a plot hole that could have been avoided if the writers bothered giving it some more thought to give a good explanation for Kamui's kidnapping. I just don't want Kamui to be a coward. That's what i said in all those posts, i used Ike as an example because he's not a coward. You seem to be dividing the trait ''coward'' into a bunch of other triats to make it sound like i want Kamui to become Ike. Kamui is in a position to strike Hans down to protect the innocent civilians getting slaughtered in front of him, but doesn't because he's afraid of the consequences. Thus he's a coward. And i think Soren's a good character as well, but not sure what point you're trying to make there. Soren was willing to sacrifice Elincia because he's practical, he knew they were at a disadvantage against Daein and acting against them wasn't in their benefit. It fit his character.

Stupid? Yes. Prime example of the story being bad? No. You're nitpicking, completely ignoring the point of AzureSen's post.
