  1. I've got that one at least, lol. He should be up.
  2. In regards to Male Corrin placing low, it's also possible that several voters only played as Female Corrin, so it's just easy to say that they didn't like Male Corrin solely based off of his design because he never shows up in the game at all if you don't play as him. I don't really dislike any of the male characters, so it was easy to just say Male Corrin was my least favorite because I'm not much of a fan of his design, and I have no attachment to him whatsoever.
  3. Elise is really adorable and some of her supports are funny (the one with Odin comes to mind), plus she's relatively important in the storyline, is a kickass unit, and is the only one of your siblings who's too heartbroken to actually fight you when you choose the opposite side. I can see why people like her. Peri is my least favorite character, so I definitely understand all of the hate. She can be funny, but she's a very difficult character to relate to, and her tantrum-throwing can be insufferable. Her supports tend to derail other characters, with most being put into a position of helplessness, forced to cater to her in the face of her tantrums, as you wonder why the hell no one seems to take her murdering of innocent people that seriously. The only one I can think of who doesn't get flustered when she starts screaming is Jakob. Plus, Peri tries to kill Felicia just for making mistakes. As for Silas, I feel like less people in the west are willing to just roll with his "best friend" thing as Japan was. I like his design and some of his supports (like with Rinkah), and he's always a great unit when I use him, but he is kind of a prick in some of his supports. I can only think of those with Hana and Azura at the moment, but I feel like there are more. LOL at the Hayato and Hisame hate. I don't really think the latter deserves it, but oh well.
  4. My Odin's got Death Blow. 14656-71430 70224-27926
  5. Mine has Luna, Bowbreaker, and Armored Blow if you care for those at all. Otherwise, I wish you luck!
  6. I'll let you know if I get the time to grab Counter for him. I've got a save file with all S-ranks at the ready, so I might be able to soon. Either way, he should be up with Life or Death now. 14656-71430 70224-27926
  7. My Jakob's married to Hana, so I can probably grab Life and Death for you in a couple of hours if no one steps up to the plate...
  8. Put some nifty skills on several of my characters. If anybody wants any of these, my castle address is 14656-71430 70224-27926 so come and get 'em! 9. Love the way Rinkah says "You're toast!" She really growls the line, it make me laugh every time.
  10. I don't get crits very often with Niles, so I about died laughing the first time he suddenly went "Ooohhhh, yes~!" Best crit quote, right next to Kaden's psycho laugh.
  11. Oboro's artwork isn't in the OST booklet, though... I'm really curious where this came from, I've been waiting for an official artbook announcement for a long time.
  12. Isn't Zelda U going to be the only playable thing from Nintendo at E3? I'm sure it won't be the only thing shown.
  13. I'm assuming you're doing no grind runs and not buying logbook skills? Arthur can be a total monster with the right skills, but with only his base class skill pool accessible, he can be pretty risky to use. If you want to go Berserker and Hero, I'd recommend Berserker for Conquest and Hero for Revelations. Going Berserker in Conquest will allow you to pass down strength rally to Percy, and the kid will get also get defense rally through either Beruka or his natural class, making him a fantastic support unit. Percy's personal skill helps ward off crits which will help Arthur's terrible dodge as a Berserker. I would just make sure you have an E-rank weapon handy for Arthur in case you just need him to do some emergency damage and not take a crit, and have a dual club handy as well because I'm sure you know that Berserkers don't have the best hit rates, and being in a weapon triangle disadvantage sucks for them. I've been using Arthur as a Hero in Revelations, and it's been working out great so far, but I guess I can't really say anything because my Arthur is broken, lol. As for Azura, my opinion probably isn't very valid because I usually just keep her as a songstress, but I would personally put her as a class that could make use of her great strength growth without forcing her to be on the front lines too much thanks to that terrible defense stat... War Priestess and Dark Flier don't help her patch up her terrible defense at all, but I'm sure you'd get an awesome mage killer with either class, though I'm not sure how reliable having a 40% magic growth as a Dark Flier would be. I'd probably go War Priestess, as then you could use both standard and shining bows pretty well, and with her speed stat, she'd probably double everything. Just my two cents. Anyone feel free to correct me on anything... "Well! That was a spirited discussion! I'm sorry that you're totally wrong about everything."
  14. Hahahaha!! Also ew. Fighter gets my vote as well. They gotta have some major wedgies. Was kinda surprised at how hated the Merchant seems to be, but then I remembered that really stupid suit he wears. His portrait, though, just screams "Did I forget to take my pills this morning?" Maids look soulless, and the Mechanist looks like a dressed up skeleton. Gotta put my vote in for the Berserker, though. Get away from me, alien face.
  15. I just got my copy today, too. Jakob's artwork in the booklet looks pretty awesome.
  16. I can understand getting annoyed by enemies having stuff that they shouldn't have, or stuff that is better than what you have, and you're not allowed to get it ever. But at the same time, it allows for more interesting and unique experiences, and forces you to actually pay attention to what the enemy has, so I'll take the lesser of two evils (AI having stuff you can't have over the experience being more boring). The only thing that I would say truly bothers me would be enemies having skills that are legit impossible to obtain without cheating. I HATE that chapter in Conquest that has all of those ninjas with Grisly Wound. It's like get out of here, you're not even the right species for that. I think there's a reason why that skill can only be learned by a few player units...
  17. I've been doing just fine using Orochi in both Birthright and Revelations on hard difficulty. She's honestly been something of an MVP in both as a hard-hitting magic user and was half the reason why I made it through the final battle in Birthright (other half of the reason was Ryoma). Maybe I've just been lucky enough with her speed growths, but t's so easy to max out her magic stat, and the horse spirit keeps her in the game when she needs it.
  18. The badges aren't tied to your save files. If they were, you'd never get one! After all, the game doesn't let you save a "completed" file, considering how you're booted back to the main menu after beating it and reload back at chapter 27 like it never happened.. The badges get written to your system data, kinda like supports and the character logbook. As long as the game saves once after getting it, it's there for good, shared across all files.
  19. You really think his personal skill makes THAT big of a difference? It's only five percent at most. I don't understand why that five percent would cause you to "always worry about eating triple damage." If you're worried about Arthur taking crits, then you're just worried about Arthur, period. His personal skill has only a little to do with it. Izana, on the other hand (considering I had his ability's effects backwards), is prone to gimping your allies as they're more likely to be in his range than the enemy. Unless you feel like spacing him away from your allies which is dangerous and hard to work around, his PS is probably going to hinder you. I don't see how that's better than a five percent crit% difference, personally.
  20. I suppose it's all in how you use your Arthur. I think I've only had him take a crit that resulted in a reset once, and it's not like that hasn't happened to my other characters. Otherwise, I just positioned him pretty well so he could benefit other characters (he's a great attack stance partner) and he destroyed everything he attacked before they could hit him. If he gets put in situations where he's going to take as many hits as he's dishing out, then of course he's likely to end up being a liability. I had no trouble with him personally, and he ended up being an MVP. To each their own, though, we all play differently. Hayato's personal skill definitely helps him catch up in Birthright, but I feel like it just kind of became obsolete really fast in Revelations...
  21. Arthur's personal skill, 95% of the time, has only been useful to me. It helps thwart classes with natural dodge, and users of high-level forged bronze weapons (who can't crit you anyway) and beaststones. It's fun having someone who consistently has a 90%+ crit rate when he goes on the offensive. Arthur himself doesn't have much dodge to be subtracted from anyway, and even so, having Percy around nulls the negative side effects. I've never had a problem working around Misfortune. Besides, it's only a 5% detriment at most. I never make use of Niles's, Orochi's, or Dwyer's. Don't care to do castle battles or use the prison. I don't like using units who can't support. However, I wouldn't say they're the "worst" as they aren't detrimental and can be quite helpful when you need them. I'd say the most useless ones are probably: Selena's (highly situational, I've never seen it happen, if the first unit crits then the enemy is likely dead anyway) Mitama's (generally has to be intentionally set up, as it's rare for your units to fall into such a formation when you're dealing with the enemy, and at that point, may as well just have Amaterasu) Azama's (because why wouldn't you have a weapon equipped after being promoted) Hayato's (how often are you lower-leveled than the enemy, especially lategame?) Scarlet's (you probably don't want a unit with under 25% HP in combat, but I could see it coming in handy in a really tight spot) Kana's (useless with EVERY CLASS except one) Selkie's (if a typically physically frail unit is starting her turn next to a bunch of enemies, you are probably one lucky bastard) Keaton's (neat early on, but by the time you have a respectable luck stat on Keaton, you probably don't care about resources much) I'd say the worst, however, is probably Izana's. Yeah, it can be useful if you position just right so that your units receive the boost and the enemy doesn't, or if you're in a tight spot where that 2 damage less is going to make all the difference, but at that point, why not just use Sakura, or a unit with inspiration? I really don't understand why they basically just took another character's PS, gave it a negative, and stuck it on someone else... if they wanted his PS to have a flaw, then why couldn't they at least make the benefit unique?
  22. Battle Nonsense: -My Jakob in Conquest had tomebreaker which usually knocked enemy hit rates down to 0-19%. Whenever they had less than an 11% hit rate, they would miss, but I swear, 90% of the time when they had 11-19%, they would hit him. It was the most frustrating thing watching it happen so often. -In chapter 26, Arthur had a crit chance of 96% in a really tight situation, and he didn't get one. It just felt like the game was trying to screw me at that point. -During the final chapter of Conquest, I sent Niles to deal with some bow knight because the guy only had a 4% chance of hitting him, he's not gonna get that, right? WRONG. I would have missed out on his ending if I didn't go out of my way to park my tank next to him to block an enemy next turn... -Saizo doubled an archer and had an 87% hit rate. Missed both times. -During chapter 26 of Revelations, I used Asugi. He got two lethalities in a row, then landed an 8% crit, then got another lethality. Geez, at least the game allows RNG nonsense for both sides... Level Up Nonsense: -My Saizo in Birthright only got 2 points in defense and 4 points in speed in 16 levels. Thanks, game. -My Orochi, in her first five levels, got strength twice and magic only once. What. -My Silas in Conquest, out of 16 levels, got a point in speed 14 times and in defense 11 times. Tanking and doubling for days. -My Odin got 6 points in resistance in his first 7 levels.
  23. Arthur. He is one big ham of JUSTICE and I love all of his supports, especially the one where he mentions grabbing an extra dessert and snuggling with his fuzzy blanket. Otherwise, Odin, Azama, and strangely enough Saizo are all hilarious. Odin is also a big ham, but of darkness, and his C-rank convos with Elise and Effie cracked me up. Azama's witty, rude comments are gold, and Saizo, despite not being "well know for his japes" has the best sarcastic, sassy retorts. I love them all.
  24. YOU sir, are the absolute best. And your Arthur also has Certain Blow, that saves me so much time... thank you so much!
  25. This is probably a stretch, but if anyone has an Arthur with Astra, I will love you forever.
